Decided to get going my 2nd seed from Barneys. This time it's Amnesia Haze Auto. Thanks for hooking us up with this beauty!
Seed was 24 hours in glass of water. She was cracked open when planting in soil.
Will be adding pics later on.
In the morning going to build up a soil for her in 5 gal fabric pot.
Soil same as I did for Dora. Added 3 spoon of ground frozen aloe vera leafs in soil.
On top sprinkled some linseed and some barley. Covered all with plane old orchid soil.
Sprayed soil with 3 liters of clean tap water and some mix of 25 ml bean tea, 25 ml egg shell tea, 10 ml of banana tea.
After week or so will be adding earth worms to 5 gal pot when soil is "ready".
She's taking her sweet time to sprout. 😅

Replanted to big pot.
Watering with tap water like every 3 days.
She took around 2 weeks to sprout.

Sprinkled some coffee grounds.
Banana tea + tea spoon of molasses + 1 l of water.

Growing really great.
Giving nothing but tap water every 3-4 days, ~ 1l per time.

Trying to train her to go around the pot. Topped one of the branches who was getting a bit too high.
Taking some bigger leafs in time to time.
Still giving nothing but tap water. Aloe vera I put in soil is doing so good compared to other pots soil I made. Moisture is keeping in so much better.

Watering around 1.2 liter per every 3 days.
Some times even less. Aloe vera in soil keeps moisture so good.

Was away for a week and I think top leafs got burn a bit buy lights. Put the lights 15cm up.

Could this be from light burn or is it something else?
Moved my light 15 cm higher for now.
Some of the branches are showing purple color. That means stress for the plant right?!
The irregular pattern of the damage says to ME that it is indeed some light burn... nitrogen toxicity starts at the tip of a leaf and moves inward - and starts on the lower leaves... calcium deficiency will begin as small brown dots ... so what your leaves are displaying fits neither one of these... You've done the right thing by moving your lights higher... just be careful when you water that you don't get the leaves wet and you should be fine.
