100% Germination - Have germinated hundreds of seeds with a 99% success rate using wet paper towel method.
Ended up vegging for about 3 months from seed. Mistakenly bought pro-mix with slow release and no perlite/vermiculite. Ended up nutrient locking the plants and almost killing them. Was also using kind of old material pots that had a lot of nutrient buildup in the material that wouldn't wash out. Could have been a contributing factor. Ended up repotting from 7 gallon cloth pots to 10 gallon. Also used the proper breathable promix. Huge rebound. Went from one of my worst veg grows to one of the best. Cant stress enough to never use slow release fert soil. This is the second time I've made this mistake and it was a disaster both times.
Might have vegged a little too long. They are pretty big already. Hopefully they don't double. They seem to have decent node spacing with no stretching so it should be ok. Will wait till about 4th week of flowering before I introduce the second 1000W HPS. They were each topped from one main stem to 18. So four rounds of topping.
Feeding is currently transition levels of 1-1-1
Previous veg levels were 3-2-1 (veg, mico, bloom)
Defoliated about half a garbage bag. Flowering has set in so I don’t imagine them getting much taller. Full flowering feed schedule 3-2-1 ratio. Waiting another week or two to add second light.
