Started germination on 4/5. Got it under the lights in my microgreens setup, which is kinda perfect for germination. Need to hit up the hydro shop to pick up some nutes, running low on calmag especially. Plan is to harvest by late june, breeder says 75 days for this auto.

Transplanted to DWC around 4/11. Just going with the single bucket until it's inconvenient to move the plant, it's not a big deal for the first few weeks, and buys me some space in the tent. My pH meter is busted, errr, it "works" but it won't calibrate, and it's reading off on the reference solution. I even bought new reference solution... Still off. So, probably the probe is bad, oh well. Buying a Apera ph60 so I can replace the probe next time, I'm also happy to have the backlight, that was always painful to not have it, like looking at an old school gameboy. Welp... wait for the roots to drop! This time of the grow is... slow.

Ho hum, boring week! Still waiting for the roots to drop, and they haven't. Plant looks ok overall Got my new pH pen. Apera pH 60. I really like it so far, so there's that. Rooted dropped on 4/20 Res change 2/20: gh trio 10 part (old chart) week 3 at approximately 40% strength. Used grow, bloom, micro, rapid start, armor si & calmag. Came out to 520ish ppm.

She's popping right along! No huge updates as of now. Planning on topping after 4 nodes, so... a node or two to go. Man, the DWC grows so fast compared to the coco plants right nearby. ...Probably do a res change in the next few days

Topped at five nodes. Not a lot more to report. Due for a res change. Waiting on it's neighbors to get DNA tested so I can buy back some room in the tent.

Big week! Survived my absence for a week with the IoT top off system. Res change; GH trio early bloom formula, 65% strength. Using floralicious and liquid Kool bloom too. I halved the grow, I'll probably cut grow next change, because... She's in preflower! I did a lollipop and and some light defol. The auto is so manageable to clean up compared to the monster photoperiod plants. My mom was visiting and I got to show her a res change and mixing nute solution! She's a wicked good (non-cannabis) gardener so I figured she would appreciate it, former president of her town's garden club lol. She did appreciate the mad scientist factor of hydro!

Probably should set this as week 1 of flower? It's.... it's kinda preflower but it's basically there. Hard when it's an auto. So yeah, I'll call next week week 1 of flower! Stretch is happening. Has responded really well to the lollipop and "defoliation" (albeit light). ...Due for another res change this week. Has sucked up a lot of the nutes, down to like 450 from 800. It's ready. I might cut out grow this week for real. Res change 6/1: GH trio week 6 formula @ 75% cut grow, full dose of additional nutes. Added a few ml of micro. 925ppm in the tank. I think this is the max strength nutes I'll use this run.

Biggest defoliation I've ever done. Tent humidity was getting way high -- like 73%. I decided it was time to get some plant material out of here. Dropped humidity by 10%. Still a little higher than I want, but, a start. It's just a damp time of year here, my dehumidifer for the room is pumping full time, still at like 55% for the room. This is why it's kind of a stratech for me to do an indoor run this time of year, rooting for this auto to go go go. Due for a res change, hopefully today. Res change 6/8: GH trio week 8, 80%, no grow. Plus extras (si, Kool bloom, floralicious, rapid start), 925ppm again.

Continuing to defoliate every few days. I'm keeping the humidity in check (not perfect, but at least in check), and the plant keeps filling in. I think it's appropriate for this grow, and it kinda shows that I could've done this a lot more in other grows (but with lower humidity, it wasn't quite a problem) Res change on 6/14: GH trio week 8, at 80% + extra. Same as last week. PPM at 880 Added second light this week. Both LEDs at 75%.

Starting to stack a little! Hopefully more to come. I was looking at old photos for my run of this outdoors (was my first grow) and these are objectively looking better. Buds should get pretty stout. Starting to smell a bit too, kind of cheese and gas ish? Not bad. Due for a res change as is custom. Continue to defoliate every few days, fighting the humidity. Remains in the low 60s. Res change 6/22, GH trio wk 8 @ 85%. Plus extras as previously. Noticed liquid Kool bloom is 30ml per batch now, it's up there. Nice. Remember how I said earlier I was at the highest ppm of the run? I changed my mind. Up to 1066ppm on this change. I think she can handle a little more.

I guess everything going OKish! When I first started this grow, I expected to be done about now, end of June. However, I'm guessing I have 3-4 weeks to keep rolling. I've slowed down on the defoliation, it's harder and harder to find leaves with enough stem to cut them. I do think it's been critical for this grow, because I have had to fight humidity quite a bit. Plant has stayed healthy throughout. I did turn on a second fan, and I can still increase the circulation by a notch. FWIW, I have left leaves around the outside edges if they're not overlapping stuff or blocking bud sites, which you can see the kind of "skirt" that I've left in the photos. Part of me thinks they should be chunkier? Unsure. There's still time, and the biggest mains are getting fat. It's going to be a solid harvest for an auto, one way or another. Thinking of potentially upping the LED dimmers from like 75% to 80% or something, yep, doing that now. Due for a res change! Hopefully update later today with the change. Res change 6/30: GH trio week 10 @ 90% + extras. PPM at about 1080.

It's probably about time to start scoping these! I'm guessing it's a two week minimum from here. They're pretty plump and buds feeling healthy. A good amount of pistils curling back. Probably have another few days before a res change. Humidity holding at around 60% which for this time of year, is not terrible. Scoped the trichs on 7/7: naturally, the photos didn't save to my phone. Still lots of clear trichomes, maybe 20% cloudy at max. Though there are some amber just starting to show! Which is a nice change for me from growing these sativa heavy strains where they barely even cloud up. Res change 7/10: GH trio week 11 formula at 100%. Cuts liquid Kool bloom, and calmag, but I am using calmag. Liquid Kool bloom and floralicious both make me feel sick to smell. Nasty, makes me feel nauseated. 950ppm in the tank.

How long will it be? Two weeks? Three weeks? I'm kinda guessing 2ish right now. Let's see what happens. They do seem to continue to stack. I'm really hoping for some fall colors soon. Tried to google about it a bit, but nothing specific to DWC. Although there is seemingly a consensus that low night time temps help. That.... kinda happens. Getting pretty hot in the house lately, and the dehumidifier is working full time for sure. Not a lot to do at this point but wait, and hope that my conditions are good enough to make it to finish.

Fall colors coming in! It's possible I harvest next week, trichs are clouding up well and you can occasionally see an amber trichome. Res change (lost date) at 850ppm, GH trio week 11 formula at 90%. Also added a wifi temp and humidity guage which is pretty great, mostly it lets me know if my dehumidifier needs to be emptied lol.

It's chop day! This is the final entry. Looks like it might have some nanners. We're at the end of week 8. Trichs were getting cloudy last week. There's part of me that wants to send it another week, but... It's also kind of fortunate timing with when I can harvest, and when the plants ready, I think this is as close as I'll get. There's part of me that wants this thing to go really amber, but, this might be a good balance between the indica traits and the clearer trichs. Here we go! Edit: I lied. I couldn't get my act together to do it on a work night. So, this weekend it is.
