chimichurra This is the first grow I'm posting 👽 I started it a couple of weeks ago with some cuttings that I revegetated. I moved them from 3-liter pots to 14-liter ones. On the day of the photos, the plants have been in those pots for 4 days, with the intention of switching to 12/12 in 2 weeks or when they cover 80% of the first SCROG net. It's in living soil and it's very nutrient-rich, so right now I'm only using rooting agents, biostimulants, and nutrient decomposers. The LED panel is made of COB chips and I built it myself; in Argentina, they became popular due to their very low cost and decent results (buying everything to assemble it cost less than 50 euros).

chimichurra Tomorrow marks the second week of the plants in the final pot, and tonight I'm going to switch them to 12/12. The silicon from Topbarrier has helped them a lot; the plants are super healthy and strong, I'm even worried that there won't be enough space. I watered them with amazonia to ensure a healthy root system. I also watered them with lactobacilli, which regulates soil fungi and bacteria, and makes phosphorus available from the soil for the plants. During the week, I did some super cropping on several branches to ensure that the entire green canopy has a similar height. I did a little low pruning; the last pruning will be done in the second week of flowering, to allow good air circulation between the plants. Any input or opinion is welcome and appreciated 😊

chimichurra April 19: Low pruning and changing the photoperiod to 12/12 April 22: Watering with calcium, it's something I haven't fully tested, but it's been giving very good results. In the coming weeks, I'll apply it as a foliar. April 23: Spraying with bloom spell, it's a source of nutrients and micro life, and it also acts as a bio-stimulant. For the first 4 weeks of flowering, I spray it, and for the rest of the weeks, I use it in watering. April 25: Watering with BioAtomic, a biomineral bio-stimulant that has given me good results, and I wanted to finish the bottle. This is the last application I'm going to make. We also added the second scrog net, although only a few branches reach it so far. In the 5 days since entering flowering, the plants have stretched nicely, but without going out of control; I don't think I'll have problems on that front. The plants look super healthy and are growing relatively evenly. On a separate note, I added an autoflowering plant at the back of the tent on the right. It was outdoors for 6 weeks and never flowered, and it doesn't look very good either. I spoke with the supplier, and they say it's a fertilization and light issue, not a seed stabilization problem. I think otherwise; the leaves are coming out deformed, and I've never seen an autoflowering plant vegetate for 6 weeks without signs of pre-flowering. I brought it indoors to see what happens, and if I'm right, it will serve as proof for them to replace the seed. I'm going to keep fertilizing it with short flowering from Green House Feeding. I'll keep you updated on what happens with this plant, and later on, I'll do a follow-up with the other autoflowering seeds that I haven't germinated yet.

chimichurra In the second week of flowering, I did some low pruning and defoliation because the plants had grown a lot. I made more or less the same fertilizer applications, adding trichoderma fungi and azospirillum. The melt caramel is the one that is stretching the least in pre-flowering. I don't have much more to share, other than that they are beautiful and very healthy, I'm excited to see how this grow turns out.

chimichurra Holaa growers! My phone screen broke, so it got complicated to take photos, but I don't want to abandon the follow-up. The plants are looking beautiful, super strong. I installed the zeolite odor filter, and there's no smell in the room (10/10). All the plants showed very slight signs of over-fertilization (really minimal), so I'm just going to give them water and lactobacillus for a week. The Bubba Dutch stretched more than the rest; it's the first plant of this phenotype that I'm putting on 12/12, I already knew the final height of the others and expected it not to be that different. The Chocolope is impressive; I had already grown the mothers outdoors and was surprised. Indoors, I fell in love with it, hoping for very dense buds, the same goes for the Banana Punch. The Melt Caramel is the smallest with less resin; I already knew that, but its stickiness is magnificent and worth it. I need to germinate the other seed I have of this genetic and see which one I stick with. Regarding the autoflower, it has stretched and is already showing pistils; it seems like it's going to flower after all.

chimichurra In the fourth week of flowering, there's not much to report. The plants seem to have some nutrient excess, and with the purple light, it was hard for me to see it early on. This week, just watering with molasses and lactobacillus. It seems there are mealybugs on the stems of the plants; I'm going to try to solve it manually and with neem plus potassium soap. I don't want to apply any systemic insecticide because the flowering is quite advanced.

chimichurra Hey folks, I have to confess that I'm a bit confused. The plants are about to finish their 5th week of 12/12 and the trichomes are milky, it seems like they don't have much time left. On the other hand, the nutrient problem turned out to be a phosphorus deficiency (pretty severe as seen in the photos). The one that suffered the most was the melt caramel; I wasn't entirely convinced by the phenotype in outdoor cultivation, but I thought the issue was due to not enough sunlight, now I know that's not the case. Also, I couldn't get rid of the pests; they haven't grown but they haven't left either, and now I've got the soil fly, which is sticking to the trichomes of the melt caramel. I need your help, I want to see if I should cut the chocolope, caramel, and banana in a week, as they are already fattening up and have white trichomes. Or if I should leave them longer and risk the pests. I would leave the bubba dutch because it's the only one that hasn't fattened up much yet. All the plants still have white pistils.

Hey brother! I'm sorry about the deficiencies and those damn flies. I don't know if you use monochromatic traps in your grows, but just yesterday Juani Juana posted on her Instagram a mix of water, sugar, and apple cider vinegar in an uncovered jar. They go for the sweet stuff, and if you don't want to spend, I made monochromatic traps with a yellow bleach container and smeared cooking oil on it—really, everything that flies gets stuck. I recommend it.. otherwise, you can make rolls of shiny tape, and that also attracts them. As for cutting, I would leave them for another 20 days; you can start washing the roots if you do that or add enzymes to finish eating what's left in the substrate. Hope I'm not bothering you! @JuanHaze_Arg, thanks! I know them, but I've only used them in larger outdoor spaces to keep track of the pests that were there, never as a method to combat them. I'm going to have to try one. I think I'll start with the enzymatic wash in a week, because despite everything, the plants are doing really well. Thank you very much for the comment!
