Welcome back everybody Outdoor grow Nr 5 for me and i started on a beautiful day (happy 420 everybody) This year I picked Northern Lights automatic from Royal Queen Seeds 🙂 I have 11 free seeds in total so what else can I do huh 😂 Last year i grew her too but it went a bit wrong and i didn't get anything of her. Had to move her in full flowering and i broke her main cola off, she wasn't in my yard anymore and nobody looked at her trough the week so it was a recipe for disaster. Budrot in the final week too 🙄😪 I then put all focus on my Jack Herer and that was a great success but I was sad for the NL'S.... so I'm very motivated for this "Revenge Round" 😁 I popped 2 seeds. Going to keep the best and give the other away. I have those soil plugs from RQS and gonna add some Mychorriza to it. I have made some adjustments for this year. A new airpot, new nutrients. BioCanna this time. Gonna keep the Plagron Light mix. It did great last year and im gonna mix RQS organics throught it. Mychorriza, Rhizobacter and those easy booster nutrients. Last year i had a lot of roots with this and with the Airpot now it can even do better. So pretty much a full organic grow i guess. Gonna Low Stress Train her too. No topping unless NL'S handle it very well. Let me know and teach me about that subject. Update : both girls are alive and put their heads out after 2 days. one girl's roots already reached the bottom of the soil plug so I put her in the small airpot. Happy growing 😉🙏

Hello everybody Week 1 has passed and both girls have sprouted and are developing their first real leaves. They are exactly one week old now. I'm happy with the good germination. Last year it took a bit longer so for me the soil plugs are better than the easy start package from RQS I used in my previous grow. NL 1 is a bit stretchy but is focusing more on leave structure now. NL 2 looks great too. A bit more compact and not so stretchy. I don't have a growlamp so they just stand at the window. Maybe not the best start but this how i do it for 5 grows now 😁 I will leave them in these pots for 3 weeks untill the roots settles in well. Mychorriza and Rhizobacter is added throughout the soil and just beneath the roots when i transferred the girls. No other nutrients yet but maybe i will add some water with roots stimulator this week. Not too much. So far so good Happy growing 😉🙏

Welcome to week 3 Slow progress but definitely building that roots. Its hard to imagine that these small plants will go into flowering in 4 weeks but since my adventures with the Royal Jack last year I don't do predictions anymore 😂 NL 2 is the most happy plant. Green healthy leaves and a pretty short distance between the nodes. Right now developing the 3rd set of leaves. NL 1 kinda looks the same but she is way more stretched. Already added a toothpick for some support 😂 Otherwise she looks great. Maybe I need to transplant her to a new home and dig her in some deeper but I only wanna transfer her once so I will be patient. I put both plants outside for some hours since we have lovely weather for the moment here. At night always inside with a bottle on top for humidity. Did not do this every night. Sometimes i just sprayed some water for higher humidity. Upcoming week will be great with temperatures around 25° Celsius 🙏 Started up the Biovega. 0,5 ml on 1,5 liter of water. Slow start, let's see how she handles the nutrients. Vita Race spray will be started for the Much needed Iron in those vegative weeks. By the end of the week I will decide what plant to keep. Leaning slightly towards NL2 No other news. This is exactly the same like last year so far only a quicker germination. Happy growing everyone 😉🙏

Hello everybody A great week here. Transfer to the final pot. I mixed 100L of plagron lightmix soil with 100grams of Mychorriza, 100grams of Rhizobacter and 500grams organic nutrients booster. I only used 40L for the Airpot Also added around 800-1000 grams of Bat Guano. Mixed it really well throughout the 100L of soil and added 20% Perlite trough it to make it airy. Last year Jack Herer grew a lot of roots with this formula. Gave water with only Biorhizotonic. More than enough in the soil for the moment 😀 Lovely weather coming up so she will spend some time outside. Gonna start the LST tomorrow. I read that it's best to do LST after a watering? Any opinions on that, let me know. It's my first time I'm gonna try out this Technique 😋 Will update more this week. Happy growing everyone 🙏

Hello everybody A great week here. Lovely weather and nice evolution on the plant. She reacted well to the LST despite my worries in the first days after doing it 😁 (it's my first time people) Sprayed one time with Neem oil. So far no bugs to see 🙏 Next spraying will be with vita race, I will switch every week untill the 3rd week of flowering The main cola is already pointing up again and the smaller branches are doing great. When i get home from my nightshift i will apply some more LST. That way she has an entire day to point up again to the light while I sleep trough the day haha Gave one watering with nutrients (PH 6,5) but I'm really cautious right now since there is a lot of nutrients in the soil for the moment. Only 1/4 of the recommended nutrients now. The next 2 waterings will be 1x with roots stimulator and one time plain Ph'd water. We expect some rain too so no need to overdo it. I hope the PH is right because i haven't been able to collect any runoff water yet 😐 I find it hard to water the Airpot cause it drips out straight from the side. Im watering in way slower now so that it stays in the middle and it works but I'm still trying to figure that out a bit Overall great so far and i know from my previous grows that she will start grow big now. Always slow progress in the first weeks but once she settles in and has enough roots they explode 😁 Will update some more LST pictures this week. Happy growing everyone 🙏😉

Hello everybody So this week i didn't give any feeding. Just 1L of plain PH'd water (6,5) There was also some rain so no danger of underwatering I think other years i didn't gave too much nutrients but i still feel that some problems might have occurred because of a salt build up. This year I'm really gonna go low on nutrients in the waterings. The soil has a lot in it and the roots are just reaching some parts now so let's see how she reacts. Leaves are looking healthy and i feel like the LST is getting in crucial weeks now. I hope the new growth stretches out real good. It still feels like one main cola with small sideshoots now but let's see how it goes 🙂 Weather isn't that great. 20°Celsius during the day and nights are cold. I keep her inside during the night. Maybe i started too soon. Hope the growth does not slow down too much because of the cold. Happy growing friends 🙏😉

Hey everyone A good week here. Some beautiful days and good progress in the plant. Healthy and green and she just entered preflowering. Gonna make it one more vegative week though Still smaller than than I expected her to be I wanted her to be a lot more bushy. It's like a few big future colas on one side now and the other side is completely empty 😂 Hope she stretches out well in the next 2 weeks, still a lot of room to fill up. Gave one watering with feeding (6,5Ph) We had a good rainday too that completely flushed/drained the soil. Introduced the Canna BioFlores. One more time BioVega too just to be sure she has all the nutrients. In 3 weeks I can probably add the Bioboost too. Pictures were taken after a good Neem Oil spray. Next week Vita Race spray and then one more time Neem Oil in 2 weeks. Than we hit the 2nd/3rd week of flowering and it's recommended not to spray anything on the buds anymore. So far so good. Small but healthy and a good learning experience. If she finishes quickly i might do another round 😂 Happy growing 🙏

Hello everybody A very good week here 🙂 Plant looks very healthy and is enjoying the good weather. Flowering is well on the way now. No issues at all and she is taking the nutrients as a champ. Not gonna give more since it is perfect for now. Every second watering is plain ph'd water (6,5Ph) Introduced the Canna BioBoost. All nutrients are 1ml/L except Biorhizotonic, that's 2ml/L. I read that if u use airpots the roots really need stimulator and no signs of nutrients burn so far so gonna keep it that way. One last spray with Vita Race too. Next week I will spray one more time Neem Oil or Vita Race, after that no more spraying on the future buds. Only minor thing is that she is pretty small. Not very bushy and she is not gonna cover the whole soil i think. I can be wrong and maybe she will do a big stretch in the next 2 weeks 😃 fingers crossed. The LST is fun to do but I'm sure i can still improve a lot on that topic. I didn't start too late but I made some mistakes for sure when compared to other diaries that do the same. But I see a lot of future colas coming up so let's wait how she gonna develop in the next weeks. Trial and error year here 😁 Hope everybody is doing okay Happy growing 🙂🙏

Hello everybody Once again a very good week here. Lovely weather and good nights I was away for 4 days, went to a festival 🙂 plant did great and survived 2 very hot days. I asked someone to give her some water. It was not PHd water so I'm going to water in with a lower pH next time. Hope the balance in the soil is still good, i haven't been able to collect any runoff water yet. LST is doing well, going to adjust her for one more week but than she is done with stretching i think. She looks a bit more bushy by now 😁 I do have some future colas in the lower canopy. Gonna try to make it more open so they get light too. So far so good Happy growing everyone 🙏

Can i spray one more time with Neem Oil now? 3rd or maybe 4th week of flowering now. Noticed that some leafs are being eaten. Product information says i can but i also read discouraging comments fron other users so im a bit in doubt. Ladybugs and praying mantisses also an option

what you can do is you can give it through the soil. if your end game is to use the azadirachtin contained in neem (which is the main pesticidal compound) then you can do a soil drench because azadirachtin is translocated in plants which means roots will take up the molecule and it’ll be transported to other tissue like flowers or leaves and be deposited there. one thing though i dont know what you mean when you say neem oil but i’d highly suggest something like neemazal which is a water based extraction of neem seed and an organic oil as a carrier (i guess canola maybe). the reason for that is most neem oil contains aflatoxins so neemazal uses a pure azadirachtin extract derived from neem seed (by using water extraction) and mixes it with aflatoxin free organic oil which is just better then neem seed oil imo. pure and effective. with this method azadirachtin will take longer to accumulate inside the above ground plant tissue but longer to disappear as well while give you a chance to avoid spraying your buds with aflatoxin containing neem oil. peace!

Hey everyone Welcome to week 9 🙂 This week I didn't water in with nutrients. There were a few rains so it was perfect to do a "nature flush" whitout the risk of underwatering. Pretty sure that the soil has a lot of nutrients left too so no harm done She has a few leaves that show bitemarks but I didn't see anything on the plant. Checked her well and no bugs. It's too late for spraying Neem Oil so i gave it in the only watering i did this week. 2ml Neem Oil on 2liter of water. She reacted well so im gonna do it one more time next week. Also found a ladybug and placed her on the plant. Let's Hope she does her job 😂 LST is doing good. Did some little adjustments because there are 2 buds that don't receive enough light. Otherwise it's okay, not perfect but for my first time trying LST I'm happy 😁 I'm learning a lot this year So far, so good. Small but healthy and a fun grow See u next week Happy growing 🙏

Hello everybody What a lovely week here. Only great weather and perfect nights 😀 always 25° to 30° Celsius and nights around 17° One good rainday too so I let the soil take a "nature flush" and didn't gave water for 4 days. After that One small watering (1Liter) with PH 6,5 water and one day later watering with nutrients. Not too much, more supportive than boosting the hell out of her. No more raindays will be allowed from now. 4th week of flowering and budrot is the enemy. LST still looking great, a few very small popcorn buds but i removed them. Next grow i will focus on more open canopy but it's good for now. Last week i did a watering with neem oil and she reacted really well. No more bugs to see and no extra damage on the leaves. Looking Healthy green 🙂 gonna do it one more time to be sure All good so far and i hope the same for everyone else Happy growing friends 🙏

Hey everyone A fantastic week here. No rain, temperatures around 27°/32° Celsius and nights are not colder than 16° with low humidity. Sounds perfect huh 😃 This week the buds really started bulking up. A good smell too and not to stinky so far. I'm glad with that to be honest 😂 no need to attract the neighbors. Gonna make some daylight pictures too tomorrow. Just got home from late shift. Sun just went down while doing this update 🙂 I gave a good feeding this week. All nutrients were 4ml on 4 to 5L of water (6,4Ph) No signs of nutrient burn and i guess the PH in the soil is right. One leaf is showing brown marks and is dying but that's the only leaf for 3 weeks now. Guess she doesn't receive enough light or the plant used it as food when there wasn't enough water left. LST is good but i really see mistakes in the lower canopy. Some buds don't receive enough light. I cut away a few leaves but i don't wanna do too much. Trial and error year for sure. Will learn and know a lot for the next grow 😃 This girl has 3 to 4 weeks left i think. Next week will probably be the last feeding. Will wait to see how she develops. Gonna water in one more time with Neem Oil too. So far so good. My easiest grow ever 🙂 (I jinxed it now 🤦‍♂️) Happy growing everyone 🙏

Hello everybody A ridiculous hot week here, some days were flirting with 40° Celsius. I tried to keep her in the shade as much as possible. Gave a little bit more water but didn't wanna overdo it. One last good feeding too. We are in the final 2 or 3 weeks now. From now on its plain water. I have Cannaflush and i will use it one time. After that a regular flush with ph 6,5 water Today there was a bit rain and i was still sleeping and didn't move her inside 😴🙄 nothing too bad I hope. Budrot is the enemy Temperatures are back to normal now. Hoping for some normal weather. The buds looks great and still a lot of white pistils. Bulking up and they have a nice smell. I notice some lemon. The FanLeaves are slowly starting to go yellow. Final phase for sure 😃 Happy growing friends 🙏

Welcome to week 14 everyone Good week during the day, temperatures around 20° to 25° Celsius but the nights are colder. One time it was just 10° Celsius with a high humidity. Also one rainy night and i didn't take her inside 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ I'm scared as fuck for budrot so u can imagine how mad i was when i came home to a wet plant while all the weather apps said it would be a dry night 🙄 it wasn't that much and only the second time it happened but still 😔 But she looks fantastic and the buds have a really nice smell. I noticed some lemon 😀 They also bulked up a lot, i think these are the biggest buds I've ever grow. Small plant but the buds look very decent. LST really does it job despite some small mistakes from me FanLeaves slowly start to go yellow so im keeping a close eye on all the signs. Need to buy a microscope too, one of the last important tools i don't have yet 😁 I gave a last good feeding this week. I thought last week would be the final time but she showed a lot of new white pistils this week so i decided to give a final boost. From now on its flushing time 🙂 I'm very happy with the nutrients this year. Biocanna really delivers. I didn't gave that much, only 1/4 of recommendations but they are doing their job 😀 So far so good, final 2 weeks coming up. What do u guys think? Almost finished? 1week? 2 weeks? Let me know. Gonna make some night pictures too soon, it's nightshift week so i only get to see her in the morning 😁 Happy growing 🙏

Hello everybody Welcome to week 15 A great week for the weather. No rain and beautiful summer days Perfect for her final period i think but some days were 32° Celsius and that's too much. Also a bit high humidity in the morning but nothing too bad. Not gonna complain 😁 Did a good inspection, no bugs and budrot to see 🙏 Some leafs are yellowing now and that's perfectly normal for these final 2 weeks. I gave nothing but ph 6,5 water. 2 waterings this week. Gonna give her one more week while flushing her gently. Always around 2 liter of water. Give 1 liter and than one hour later the final liter. I haven't been able to collect any runoff water. Guess the ph in the soil is right. Never gave too much feeding and always 6,5 ph water. She is doing very good. So far i think this is my best grow. Very smelly buds and 50/50 white and brown pistils. I hope for an excellent taste 😁 Fingers crossed for the final 7 to 10 days Happy growing friends 🙏

Is this the beginning of budrot or just the plant using the leafs (sugarleaf actually) as nutrients? I'm in the final week and in 2 days this leaf starts turning yellow on the bud. Bit worried. I cant pull the leaf out and bud looks fine but still worried

High Clutch, Beautiful buds and great choice of strain. I grew this one a while ago and it's a delicious Indica strain! The leaves turning yellow is normal at the end of flowering. She is almost ready and when cannabis is almost ready it is fall for them. So like the trees and plants outside they will get yellow, orange and sometimes even blue and purple. Check out my Blue Hash diarie she changed into all these colours. So don't worrie, dit is totally normal and your plant looks perfect! Budrot get's brown, really soft so you can pull the rotten part out really easy and afther this it gets the texture of wool. So no need to worrie! Almost time to harvest! HAPPY HARVEST

Hello everybody Late update but good news Plant is harvested and hung up to dry. Just like other years i will make it a regular flowering week and in 3 weeks, maybe a month i will share the results I truly hope i didn't cause too much smell 😂 I have a tent, Fan and filter but I'm still scared as hell haha Added a ventilator on a low speed too. It's still warm here. I think the tent is between 20° and 25° Celsius now Not perfect but tomorrow we get normal weather again. The buds looks fantastic. Did a good trim and they look very compact. Bigger than my hand haha. Fantastic strain. Lots of weight too but that will change in the next week 😁 I had 3 smaller buds (from the lower canopy) That showed small signs of budrot. The stem was still okay but the buds were dry and crunchy and i didn't trust it. Also some slight mold so i throw them away. It was very hot the last days too. I gave water but also dried the plant out a bit in the final 2 days. 85% of the plant is saved so im not gonna complain. It was my fault so a good lesson for next year to spread the canopy more open. Otherwise in happy with the grow. The nutrients did very well. I hope to leave them hanging for 10 days. Than the last good trim before they go into the jars. I just finished my Strawberry Haze 🍓jar 😂 just in time. Gonna order some new humidity packs too Will add pictures of the roots and dry place tomorrow Will also do better description of entire grow in harvest report 🙂 Happy growing everyone 🙏

Hello everybody Welcome to the review week 😁 (Harvest pictures previous week) What can i say. Another very fun year doing this hobby. Grow number 5 since I'm here on growdiaries and ever year I improved because ofvall the knowledge here. Last year my NL'S started fantastic but it went horribly wrong during flowering. I was very motivated for this revenge round since NL is great strain and I knew where the mistakes were made in the previous grow. Made a well fed soil, added lots of RQS nutrients and made it extra airy by adding about 20 to 25 % extra perlite. Germination was made in a soil plug. Soaked the seed for 24h and then 12h in a moisted paper napkin . After the root came out a little bit i put her directly in the soil plug After 2 days she put her head out 🙏 Vegative phase was fun but she was stunted from the cold in the first weeks outside. With photoperiods that's not a problem but with autoflowers u end up with a small plant. Gave some neem oil spray too every week. No bugs have been seen on the plant. Fantastic product I did my first LST training and that was so fun to do. I fucked up here and there and should have spread the canopy more open but i give myself 6,5/10 for the first time 😁 Didn't break anything and she reacted well on my inexperienced hands. Will always do this from now on but with adjustments of course 😁 we grow to learn In flowering she did well but she stayed on the small side, wasn't very bushy and didn't completely filled up the space she had. But the plant was healthy and what she had did very well and delivered super nice buds. In the final 2 weeks she really bulked up a lot and gave me my first handsized buds ❤️🙏 I had Budrot because of high humidity in the morning and 2 small rains. It was extremely warm here during July and August but during the days we had 30° to 40° Celsius with low humidity and at night 15°Celsius with night and morning humidity of 80% to 100% 🤷‍♂️ 🙄 talk about a challenge Every plant will develop problems in such swinging climate conditions but the NL did pretty good. Lost about 20% of the plant unfortunately but that's life After 16 weeks she looked done for me. Chopped her and had to dry her in warm weather. The tent was around 23°Celsius, couldn't get it lower. After 5 days the smaller buds were on the verge of just a bit too wet but close to dry and i know it's better to put them in a little bit more wet instead of too dry because it's harder to add moisture than the other way around. Opened the jars 4 times daily the first week and it was okay. The handsized more wet buds were added after 7 days of drying and didn't have any problems. An overall very smooth grow untill the budrot problem. Will grow this one again since i have 10 seeds left of them 😁 (small note for RQS if they read this : mix up the free strains guys 😂 1 Royal Jack and 13 NL here) Thanks for the help and comments Another year were i learned a lot from everyone here 🙏 Happy growing 🙏
