Chucked seed in a glass of water, covered it with socks to keep it warm!! Lol, I’m the wardrobe, never done this before so completely winging it!! Here’s hoping 🙏
I think I jumped the gun a bit and posted my germination week on day 1 of dropping the seed in water, it’s been 7 days since then and she seems to be doing quite well (although I stand to be corrected)
The plan was to grow her on the windowsill until she was ready to go outdoors but the weathers been rubbish with hardly any sun and temperatures getting no more than 57 during the day and low 40’s of a night! I did manage 1 day on the windowsill but I’ve improvised a temporary set up to keep her warm with plenty of light, check my pics, the candles keep the temperature around 71-75 and she doesn’t seem to mind the LED light I’m using so fingers crossed she’ll be ok 🤞 ✌️ 😁
It’s now 15 days since I dropped the seed in water and I think it’s doing good, around days 10 and 11 I noticed it stopped growing and it just didn’t look right, the leaves were tacoing a bit and
Looked a bit yellow, I think I under watered it so I gave it 300ml of water and it perked up pretty much straight away and now I’m noticing growth each day, it been out in the garden the last 3 days coz temperatures are up and quite frankly it’s loving life 😁 gona sow my Cinderella auto next week and debating wether or not to get some easy bud seeds for a gorilla grow!
Now 21 days since seed was dropped in water, all good, it’s had 0.5 litres of filtered water this week and it’s growing! Other than that there’s not much going on, going to give it a small feed in a few days. I also popped my Cinderella auto seed in water on Wednesday (48 hours ago) and transferred it to paper towel Thursday and still nothing unlike this northern lights seed which was half the size, within 36 hours it had a 1 inch tap root! Proper excited now just hope I can pull it off ✌️😁
28 days since dropping seed in water, had a bit of a disaster this week, was tidying up the garden and the dog decided to get under my feet causing me to trip and drop a brick onto the plant, could have drop kicked that little f***er over the fence but instead just sent him to his bed to think about what he did! Lol. Anyway the plant has suffered some damage (luckily the brick didn’t fully land on the plant) but it’s bent the plant up and snapped a fan leaf off of the 2nd Node and damaged the newly emerging leaves on that node, also damaged the newly emerging leaves on one side of the 3rd Node but my main concern is the leaf it ripped off of what I think may be the main cola developing, although I’m not 100% sure on that? all I know is it’s ripped a Leaf off the top aswell, I brought the plant indoors that night to avoid anymore stress! I’ve posted a picture if anyone could tell me it would be appreciated! This being said I gave it it’s first feed the day after the disaster and it seems to be doing ok, looks perky enough just got a few war wounds!
So I’ve been posting at the start of each week but I’ve left it 2 weeks and it’s now the end of week 5, it’s flowering and starting to smell like weed, conditions have been bad with temps barely reaching 20 Celsius through the day and dropping to 10 at night so I’ve been putting it in a makeshift greenhouse at night, But the plant is still progressing so I’m happy, buds are starting to form
