Trying the skunk again for a new flavor profile and bigger yield, then I’ll shelve these genetics for the time being. For now though, she grows similarly compactly to last run, and I have topped her to an even bushier state today to maximize my future canopy. Cheers
Just realized I was accidentally running my lights for 16hr/day instead of 18, so i fixed that. also planning to start lst after she starts to grow out. for now she’s very bushy in shape. cheers
Started showing yellowing signalling she’s used up the soil, so transplanted her into a 5gallon nursery pot.
Got some high temperatures on the way in the northeast, which would overwhelm my ventilation setup and leave me at only 300w through september. That’s why starting today I’m switching over to a 450w sunlike LED for that time in order to make things a lot easier. Cheers
Continuing with the topping and lst strategy as we continue in veg. I also took two developed lower branches to try for clones, which are now in my second tent. Cheers
A skunky bush indeed. Growing in nice and thick, mirroring the robust indica dominant hybrid structure of my previous skunk run. Soil still giving all crucial nutrients. Cheers
Would have given this run a bit more veg if I had the time, but my schedule obligates me to now switch to 12/12. Starting to amend my water with nutrients this week as well, starting at a low concentration. Probably will defol next week.
Staying very stout and bushy for a sativa dom, just like last run. Cheers
Upping nutes to combat any creeping nutrient deficiencies, and continuing LST with considerations of some defoliation in the near future. Staying compact for a sativa dominant. Cheers
Entering flower with a good bit of growth while remaining pretty compact. May get some real dense nugs if the indica expression carries through to the bud structure. We’ll see how different this one is from my previous seed run. Cheers
Raised the grow light a little bit, as leaf surface temps were a little high for my liking (low 80s). Nice consistent structure and been pretty vigorous on the nutes. Cheers
This buddy’s starting to shape up nicely. Switched out the calmag for floralicious plus for those nice amino acids. Local heatwave has me honed in on monitoring leaf and air temps for the week. Cheers!
Everything’s going smoothly here for the most part. This skunk seems to have some very large colas coming in, while staying compact, which bodes well for general yield ability. Cheers
She’s starting to look awfully mouthwatering now :) switching out the fish mix for snow storm ultra as we approach late flower. Smell, Crystals, Structure all on point. Cheers
Reaching late flower around now; so adjusting nutes accordingly to get a nice fade started. Looking quite frosty and getting so dense that one branch is drooping with weight. Very promising. Cheers
She’s doing great, with big buds coated in crystals and a silver sheen. Picking up one tipped over stalk I noticed how massive and dense this plant’s flower’s have become. This bodes very, very well indeed. Cheers
feeding molasses only as this girl starts to finish up her flower cycle. Lots of dense colas covered with crystals, and a strong pungent smell. stoked to see how she smokes in due time. cheers
Fade in full effect now, the end is in sight my friends… a canopy of stanky colas almost ready for harvest - this week will be for bulking of the buds, and leeching of chlorophyll from the plant as a whole. Cheers
Last week due to time constraints - this girl’s buds are starting to look very ripe, with dense, frost covered flowers blanketing her canopy. Cheers and thanks for joining me with this beautiful example of skunk genetics
Everything you’d want and expect from
this classic strain. Hybrid lovers need not hesitate getting hold of this strain, or one of the many crosses baring her genetics. Cheers
