After failing to achieve germination on a pricey 5 pack of Purple Strawberry Sherbet seeds, I opted to move ahead with my single seed of Mimosa for my sativa-for-clone. Of course I’ll flower and smoke her too :) Cheers
Entering the true veg stage here soon with no problems. Got some high temperatures on the way in the northeast, which would overwhelm my ventilation setup and leave me at only 300w through september. That’s why starting today I’m switching over to a 450w sunlike LED for that time in order to make things a lot easier. Cheers
decided to top her early to minimize growth loss, but maybe should have stuck to main stem lst. time will tell. Transplanted her from the solo cup as well, showing good root development. Cheers
Veg has truly now begun, going to let her develop a little further before topping again to allow the roots some more time. Soil still providing all nutes besides root stim. cheers
Wish I could let her grow a little longer, as I would’ve loved to see her as a big ol bush. Guess I’ll have to save that for next grow. Planning on taking lower branches for cuttings in one week. I also transplanted into a 5gal nursery pot. Cheers
Took cuttings from bottom node for cloning. Very much upping nutes as we enter the second week of stretch to combat any creeping deficiencies. Continuing LST, but letting her grow tall to catch up with the more mature plants in the grow tent. Cheers
this plant is growing nice thick supporting branches for each of the four main stalks. Hoping to get at least an O out of her since she’s younger than the rest. Cheers
Nice stretch with four strong colas bursting with new hairs. Giving her a break on the nutes as well because she likely still has soil nutrients from the transplant. Cheers
This buddy’s starting to shape up nicely. Switched out the calmag for floralicious plus for those nice amino acids. Local heatwave has me honed in on monitoring leaf and air temps for the week. Cheers!
Everything’s been running smoothly for the most part. This Mimosa is already looking really nice, and will probably finish relatively quickly due to less veg time than the others. I was surprised at how fast her pistils are going red. Cheers
Surprisingly this may be the last week of flower for this little lady, the colas are looking pretty much fully developed, with red hairs all the way down, and i’ve switched to plain distilled water. Let me know if you think differently but I think I may have to harvest pretty soon, which is exciting but unexpected. Figure smaller, younger plants might mature faster. Well, cheers and enjoy the frostiness 🍊❄️🥂
Last week for this buddy, giving the chop come next weekend. This girl has grown very respectably, and I’m excited to grow the clone I took from her into a larger beast of a mimosa plant. Hoping for a refreshing sativa from this one. Cheers and stay tuned for the juicy harvest pics
Nice hybrid effect, good for anytime of the day. tropical terps permeating dense and frosty buds. Bud coloration is mainly seen on cola tops. Potent cut, good for cloning, training, you name it. Very impressive strain
Started her much later than the others, but with a quick topping she produced over an o of dense, high quality bud. Will be growing this plant again in clone form next run, in full bush form. Cheers
@GYOweed, for those criteria i’d say go with mimosa, but you really can’t go wrong. Cali seemed to grow a bit faster and yield more, with more of a straight orange taste, comparatively 🤙
