Cookies is almost ready and despite her illness is really a beauty with those purple colors and orange pistils. I've cropped 3 minor branches and the buds quality is superb, heavy like lead. At the end the whole plant is suffering (except 3 magnificient colas) but 3 liters of hydrogen peroxide and tricoderma have saved the harvest. After each application plant has started to drink again and to suck the last nutrients from leaves. Luckily weather has been pretty good but cold until today, while a great rain storm is hitting my town right now. Cookies is really an hardy plant and shows total resistance to mold, until now. Despite this plant don't stinks too much (this is a great PRO) rubbing the buds let the smell explodes. A mix of berries/balsamic pine and a bittery taste of diesel and burned cookies. Just amazing. Also her first testers say this strain is VERY potent.
Sehr schöner grow! Bei maleb hätte ich Angst wegen boytrithis. Die trockenen, gelben/braunen fächerblätter an den buds sehen sehr verdächtig aus. Hast du da mal ins innere (an den stamm) geschaut?
@Rap_a_cap,nice! Really a high yielder. Looking pretty close to being ready. The last weeks, I. M. O. Are the most nerve wrecking when it comes to mold and the risk of losing stuff..
@GermanGrow182, you are right about that pale leaf, after the crop a little spot of rot was promptly removed. This giant plant is rather prone to mold so I check her twice a day
@GermanGrow182, yes German I'm checking twice a day and you are right Bro about that bud, inside I've found initial rot spot but all the infected buds have already been cropped, washed, inspected and eventually removed. It's really an enormous plant, rather prone to mites and mold but her smell is amazing and she'll give to me near a kilo.
Looks good. You should check out my Hash Bud, Bubble OG and Candyland diaries where I started indoors and now at 17 weeks veg. These were manifolded (first time) and are now getting huge. You might like Hash Bud in particular. Cheers.
@Rap_a_cap, QCS are a breeder and not just a reseller. I’m also trying their Jackberry this year and all three seem really good. You’re right in that I mostly have to use autos and I’m trying a few photoperiods. Now near the solstice we get 17 h of daylight. Hash Bud is a cross of a famous Canadian indica strain called God Bud which won the Cannabis Cup a few years ago.
@Northern_Ent, of course Mate, these are the only three strains of your that I find interesting, the others are all autos, I don't even consider them but I know You use them because of day length. How many hours of light are there now? Is the QCS a company that does research and hybridization or simply re-sell seeds produced by cannabis Majors?
Bonne culture, mon ami
Hello my friend! Looking forward to following your progress this year! At least you got all the (minor) mistakes out of the way up front! Happy growing!
@Rap_a_cap, One hundred percent bro! I got a little bit of a late start but we are still getting frost so it actually worked out pretty well. I'll upload photos tomorrow.
@Newbie87, the pieces in my hand are 3 different processings of bubble ice hash. The darker ones are made of 150 and 75 microns sieves and the matter is worked fresh and wet by hand friction. Is a hard and dirty job that can take 1-2 hours to be done. At first wet resin will stick everything, you have to rub frequently your finger. Make a ball and keep on to knead it. The job is done when herbaceous smell turns into hash smell. Wrap it with cellophane and store in a jar. Every three day open the ball and play with it for some minutes. Repeat it 3 times and let it rest wrapped in cellophane for 2 weeks.
You suffered the dreaded fusarium too my friend? It still looks like you were able to pull quality bud from the plant! I lost almost my entire crop to fusarium oxysporum last year. By the time I found out what it was I had already lost many plants. Great looking bubble hash!!! I did have one plant that was far enough along for me to wash for bubble hash but the others were a total loss. Doing better this year and hoping for better outcome.
