April 7, 2022 - Cut the clones. Dipped the cuts in honey, and stick them into the peat-moss/perlite 50/50 mix. Put them in my transparent white plastic box (dome). Kept at 80-90 percent humidity. April 23, 2022 - After 2 weeks, the 3 clones look wilting and not showing any progress. So, I pull them out to check the root and see none! Decided to give them another chance and recut the stem and scrape off the outside of the stems a bit. Sprinkle a little of mycorrhiza into the hole and stick them back. Put two clones (#1 & #2) back into the cloning dome and the 3rd one (#3) directly in old growing substrate with an upside down plastic cup covering it. Will see which works better. April 30, 2022 - Clone #3 outside the box still looks OK, not refreshing, but OK. Hope it is alright. The other two clones (#1 and #2) in the dome now show roots hitting the side of the cups. Hooray to 1 week of mycorrhiza power! Top leaves look a bit deficient so I made a light nutrient of Fox Farm Grow Big / Big Bloom / Molasses and Mycorrhiza, total of 450 ppm and gave each plant about 5 teaspoons. Also, wrapped the clear plastic cups with aluminum foil to give roots a bit of privacy away from light. Will see how they continue.... What a month of cloning struggle. Week 1 begins Monday. Finally, geeshes.... 😆

Week 1 Day 1 - Clones #1 and #2 are looking alright, not super strong and slight nutrient deficiency issues, but OK. Will just observe for now. - These clones are currently under a very mild CFL light (20 cm away and about 200 ppfd measured roughly by phone app - Tent Buddy.) - Clone #3 still need to be covered to maintain moisture. Yesterday I un-cupped the clone and it wilted a lot. This morning it looks better again after a night of rest under the plastic cup. - I've checked the run off and these clone's pH are so low, while TDS are so high (pH 5.7 and TDS 800pm). This evening, I flushed them with pH 6.5 water and brought the runoff to about pH 6.0 and 350 ppm) Week 1 Day 2 - Just foliage spray with mild CalMag this morning. Soil is still moist, so no watering. Week 1 Day 3 - Just minor watering today. Glad to see the clones are doing well as they are growing a bit everyday. Will transfer them to 3 gallon airpots with new soil mix soon. Week 1 Day 4 - Foliage spray with mild CalMag and Seaweed. Add 5ml of 250 ppm of balanced NPK nutrients AN B52 for each plant. Week 1 Day 5 - Foliage spray with mild CalMag and Seaweed. Transfer them to 3 gallon airpots. Week 1 Day 6 - Foliage spray with mild CalMag and Seaweed. Skip watering. The clones responded OK to the new airpots. Week 1 Day 7 - TBA

Already after about 4 days out of the moisture dome, the new top leaves' color doesn't look solid green throughout, and doesn't seem to spread out nicely. I've added some nutrients from Fox Farms with some molasses and mycorrhiza, but no improvement. Anything to worry? 😕

hey there Myketb, so basically what you've done is accidently gone completely soiless but you havent been compensating for ti with nutrients. peat moss is soiless, perlite is soiless so together it's 100% soiless. clones especially are sensitive to cal mag and other micronutrients for example sulfur . Usually when you take clones you want to have a calmagsulfur spray ready, and give nutrients as appropriate. so right now you're seeing all the signs of stress plus the first signs of calmag deficiency. quickly spray them with calmag and dont forget about the soiless moving forward, you should be alright. Hope this helps ! 🚀

WK2D2 - Everything is looking very good. Start giving them some 250 ppm nutrients today and they are still bathing under light CFL of about 350 ppfd.

Week 3 begins. May top the plants at end of this week so they start lateral branching more. Things are moving along OK so far. I will start increasing the PPM this week.
