Started upstairs in a little greenhouse. Not enough light so they were a bit leggy. Vigorous growth has started. Should be ready for the outdoors soon. Looking forward to hardening off next week.
Not much to report. They accepted the soil nicely and have adapted well. They begin going outside this week, then transplant on the weekend to their final home. This one has out performed the others so far.
Moved the gals outside and Gaia green asuper soil, worm castings with Gaia green all purpose 4-4-4. I’m following the Canuck guy grows method and it’s fabulous. Was gone on vacation and set the timer to go off for 10 mins every other day. The drip system set up with timer is definitely the way to go for outdoor. The gals are fuckin ripping now.
She’s starting to smell really nice. I can’t wait to see how big this damn thing is going to be. Right now with the Gaia and the drip system there is nothing that will stop it. Starting to get some pests on her, and might have to spray next week. Let’s hope not.
She’s starting to spread her wings and bush out. Bugs are still being watched but I am seeing lots of spiders around which is nice. Added more 4-4-4 and soon will be doing a cal mag dose. The gals love this spot and I’m excited/nervous to see how they go.
The week was mostly overcast and lots of good light. Humidity and temp have been perfect for veg. I gave em a spray for bugs because they were unmanageable. I’m late this week so this is almost 10 days instead of 7, next weeks will be short. I’m very happy with the explosive growth and response to the Gaia green nutes. Good lord, this is awesome.
Short week entry. They were showing low mag signs so hit em up today with a cal mag boost and some top dressing. With the drip system and nice weather, these plants take care of themselves. Groovy baby.
This plant is very resilient. She had a problem with bugs, but with after a light spray 4 weeks ago she’s doing it all on her own now. Starting to see nitro and calcium deficiency. I think this is due to my drop system watering 8.2 ph city water on her 20 mins a day. I shut off the drip and started ph treating my water with cal mag. Going to have to do this until flower.
Moving them inside starting today to spark flower cycle. Summers here are too short and the swing will happen too late in the season so I’m starting them a couple weeks early. Going to build a blackout shelter/frost shelter for them this week. Looking so good.
It’s happening! I’ve been bringing the gals into the blacked out garage every night for the past week. They started stacking yesterday and pistils started twisting out today. The 1st day of flower just happened. I had a handy friend help build the blackout tent that I’ll be using from here on. I’m waiting one more week and then I’ll be adding my second round of flowering nutes (I did a half and half blend last time, half 4-4-4 half 2-8-4). Now I’ll be doing straight bloom from here out. In 2 weeks from now I’ll begin advanced nutrients big bud as well. The girls are ready for the fun.
The week was very windy and not too much direct sun. During the preflower to flower transition she drank a lot but stopped growing for a few days. I added flower nutes once they started showing signs of deficiency in lower canopy. Stretch is back on, and the last 2 days she grew 2”. The homemade darkness tent worked like a charm. 15 days total I’ve been blacking out and tomorrow I leave town and pray that they continue in flower. I’ll be praying to jeebus that they don’t re veg (I doubt it will happen but still possible).
Hopefully next week flower continues and I will hit it with big bud. Happy growing 🍃.
Sooooo, the Big Bud worked really well with this strain. She’s drinking a lot and packing up very quickly. I’m very surprised that this is the result I’m getting this quickly. Getting nice and frosty too! Looks like she’ll be on track to be a normal 8 week flower period. I snuck a pic of my outdoor memberberry in there too. Happy growing and good luck on the home stretch all.
This girl is reacting the best to the big bud. She is absolutely ripping. She’s stopped going up and has started packing in serious weight. 1 more week of big bud, then we will see where she’s at. If I still see room to go I’ll incorporate overgrown into the final stretch. One surprising thing is that she doesn’t stink yet. Im sure it’s coming .
Pretty ordinary week weather wise. This plant has continued to pack on the weight. I’m very optimistic about her returns, and hoping no bugs or no major storms in the next month. Lettttttsssss goooooo 🍃
Holy Moses! This girl is starting to pack on the weight and I couldn’t be more happy with how things are going. Unlike the blueberry, the hot weather did not affect this gal at all.
True indica genetics holding strong and now she’s packing and loading. Right now each main has started to basically develop into its own plant, structure wise.
I’ll be chopping her in multiple sessions. Taking the big mains first and letting light in to finish the rest off.
Right now the trichomes are 50/50 clear to cloudy. Hopefully the wind stays away the coming weeks because if she doubles up again I’ll be looking for support. ❤️
I was so happy with this plant that I had a friend clone her, and now we have a tent of these. Home stretch!
Getting close now! I’m starting to see my first couple of Amber trichomes. I’m hoping that this will start to be harvested in about 10 days. Well at least that’s what I hope, because I stopped feeding her now. She’s blooomin.
HOLY SHIT!
Smells so good right now. I have to wait until Sunday to harvest because I have to go do some stuff. This outdoor plant Has been incredible start to finish. I cannot wait to smoke it in 6 weeks.
NUGS are dense, trichomes are large and she basically prunes herself. I’m very proud of this grow, and am excited again for next year. Smells like fruity pine, with a bit of that dank classic Kush. Im excited to see the yeild and more importantly, how much hash I can make.
Slowly but surely she’s being harvested. I’m taking flower as they show amber triches and smell strongest. I’m running clones of this in dwc this winter. It will be cool to do a side by side comparison! Thanks all for watching my progress and I hope to have a massive harvest. Happy growing!
I made it into to the 1 lb club with this lady!!! I’m super stoked on the fact everything went smooth. She ripped hard in veg and turned on the jets in flower. Became evident she was a fast flowering plant. Started chopping buds after only 47 days into flower. Good outdoor strain for northern climates!
