Update - Some fucking birds ate my cannabis plants, I now have the new seed popped above the soil line but its a bit behind its peers. leaving it on germination update then a week later will be its week 1 :D Screens added to keep them winged ass holes out.
This is the beginning of one of the six Ganja Farmer Seeds (GFS) they sent me for the upcoming contest.
Originally asked for 4 stains and they sent over an additional two. Extra nice of them, @GanjaFarmerSeeds Thanks for hosting this contest! Excited to see what your seed will do.
Germinated by scarification of the seed with an emery board then soaking in water for 12hrs, I added in the step of paper towel for another 12hrs then planted outside with myco in the hole. Watered in with some LABS "Lactic Acid Bacteria Serum [Lactobacillus]" and Transplanter MS-CS RootRescue. They all popped up within a few days after planting outside.
This seed had the longest tap root of them all, was worried this would cause issues but so far so good.
So the new seed finally sprouted and this has been its first week in life. It has been doing well, not a whole lot of anything is happening with them, just water for right now. Its neighbour Caramel is doing great! Screen still holding up well from the birds. They have a bit of time before they will need to be removed. Will need to spike it up heavily to prevent any damage. Also keeping an eye on the mint in the planter has they can be real jerks for out competing other plants for root space.
Nothing to report, plants are doing well, just giving them water. looking better every day, can't wait till its bigger like its neighbour Caramel.
Had a near perfect rainbow the other day and included that in all the diaries. Bring some happiness to the page.
This little one is having some issues catching up in growth vs its peers of the same age, I feel the roots of other plants have developed and are causing to much competition, does not help it has mint in the same planter and that plant alone is a bastard for stealing root space. Don't care to do any growing techniques with this one. leaving it au naturel.
This plant is still a runt, did not get as big as i thought it would have by now. growing well and has not had any issues I've seen so far. Maybe a little bit of bugs on the leaves but nothing that's infesting yet or out of the ordinary. nothing is popping out in terms of smells, Its smell is just like a average cannabis plant. Gave all the plants this week some LAB Serum, gotta love them little bacteria.
Added in some dry amendment fertilizer as the greens of the other plants where lacking and looking like they needed some extra feed. 1:1 ratio of the U•CANN 5-4-5 Herb Thrive + U•CANN 2-7-7 Abundant Bloom, should do the plants well till next feeding time.
not to happy with how small this plant is still. Guess the killing of it earlier in the spring really set it back in terms of developing some proper roots and competing with the other plants in the container. Will be nice to try this one out in a bucket and see what its real potential for me could be. not expecting much off of this. same with the other plant that was killed off by them fucking birds.
So all the plants have stopped putting on height and are now working on putting on weight. I'm alright with this. Gives me time to start a few others and also have them by end of season. Doubght I'll do any diaries but its an option if I see fit.
Cant say anything important is happening with this one. business as usual.
Plants are chilling, added in some bokashi and dry amendments, not expecting much more from this plant, just needs to finish growing and we can be done.
Smells Great! My plant was dwarfed as the root ball was not abel to expand in the soil I had it in. there is no doubt this will be a winner when I try and grow it again.
This was a sad little plant, if only the fucking birds did not eat the original plant. They are so bloody annoying.
Over all plant did ok, just the runt size is a massive let down.
Will just dry this and give it to a friend to smoke. This had a twin in terms of being a runt and that was with Rainbow Candy XL, and a few Dinamed seeds as well I found in the garden.
@GanjaFarmerSeeds, If you like the images or videos I can send you raw files that have not been shrunk and contain no watermarks, if you feel I am in the top 3 of your BDOTY Contest that is :D
