Macintosh meds was a great strain to grow. I had no pest issues and the nugs came out very large and dense. My only concern is that the leaves turned yellow pretty early in flower, and this was a very tall plant almost maxing out my tent. The yellow leaves could have been for reason I caused like root bound, but for that reason I am taking off two stars. I will definitely be growing it again as I have more seeds depending on how well I like the smoke.

Another good week in the books. The hairs are really starting to reach out! The Macintosh Meds is super tall I had to bend the tops over a bit using some ties. Overall very happy. Smell is getting stronger. Humidity has been high this week due to storms, I am hoping it settles down a bit for later flower stages otherwise I may need to buy a dehumidifier.

My critical cure has some of the smaller leaves near and in the buds which are starting to turn rusty brown. Is this a starting sign of bud rot? Should I cut them early? I do not see anything abnormal under the microscope or when separating the large buds by hand. Thanks!

As someone who has been experiencing a LOT of bud rot this humid summer, I can tell you I don't see any signs that you've got it... the rusty leaves would actually be DEAD leaves, not just discolored, if it WAS bud rot - and if you don't see or feel or smell anything out of the ordinary, I think you're in the clear and can breathe a sigh of relief. Just make sure you have really GOOD airflow through your plants (which are stunning, btw). Good luck!
