just about to sprout. only giving water right now. third one may have been place in rooter upside down and is taking longer to sprout?
1 plant measures 1.5" other is 3"...hope 3" plant not bolting or something. pics at 8 days old
recently bought a grow tent cuz humidity was getting too bad. Moved tent into the basement which has a dehumidifier instead of having it in the garage. Have a regular fan blowing on it but fan to vent tent better.
added some mag-cal few days ago to deal with leaf yellowing. also bought a pH tester, found water with nutes was 5-6 pH. will now start using tap water as it is 7.1 ph
day33, lowered lights a bit closer to plants
gave a good feeding this week and started to add tiger bloom. almost in bloom phase. tested pH of water, not good, in the 5s. ordered some pH up and will use tomorrow. all the nutes I use bring my tap water (ph7.2), down to 4-5ph. so that is BIG issue, plant looks to have nitrogen deficiency (yellow bottom leaves, red stems). hoping the pH up will turn it around. but not to bad for first grow. nuwbies.... def buy a pH meter asap, even cheap ones can be good!
QUESTION--------
I have a small grow tent 2x4x5tall. I have a really good exhaust fan venting to the outside (150cfm). I have a small stationary "clip" fan..... the air coming from the room into the tent is about 45-50rh. I CANNOT seem to get my rh inside the tent any lower than 65%rh!!!
I'm thinking my choices are to buy an intake fan and try to Port some air in, OR buy a better small ocsillating fan. I am in need of some advise as I can't fit a dehumidifier in the tent. (sidenote, I've also seen discussion of a "dump fan" setup, would that solve the issue?)
no big buds yet. hope they are coming soon!
Think the nodes are almost ready. Hoping to get 1 more week in. As of today some of the colas are getting bigger and making the branches bend! Looks like defoliation may have paid off.
tops of the tallest colas seem to be getting a little burned, but I can't move lights any higher.
plant 1 was look super yellow at top, and hais mostly orange. chopped to part of plant. plant to cut rest soon.
plant 2 is doing well and still needs a little more time.
