First time uploading in three weeks, but I will upload every week from this point on. So far so good, All plants look healthy. The other plants chilling there will be planted outside soon, so they will get out of the tent. Curious to learn the differences between this grow and the previous one! :)

This week plants were growing well. Removed small shoots and leaves near the bottom of the plants and fed them twice. Maybe 2 more weeks before I put them in the ScrOG net before the flowering phase.

Another chill week in the tent. I defoliated a lot and LST'd the plants into the shape of the tent a bit more. Because I didnt want as many small buds like last grow I removed a lot of small shoots which gave me a total of 23 cuttlings. These will probably end up at my guerilla grow location. Next week the plants will probably be in the ScrOG net, ready for the transition into Flower :)

This week I prepared the plants for flower. The plants look healthy and grow really quick. This week I gave the plants a 50/50 mix of Terra Grow and Terra Bloom. I lollipopped the plants, defoiliated and LST'd the plants to make sure the tent is evenly covered. I also upgraded the Lightsystem, into a Lumatek 460 Watt. This light has a lot better coverage of the tent. Next week flower starts!

First week of flower! The plants are starting to stretch nicely. I put 2 of those sticky fly traps in the tent and theres already a million of those little flies stuck to it. I watered them a few times and i defoliated a lot. The plants now look very healthy and the light penetration is a lot better now. Im debating to put a second ScrOG net in there to help even the tent out while it is stretching, but i'll see how that goes. New updates coming weekly! PS. My outdoor grow is doing very nicely. I was having some issues with snails who ate a few of my plants and damaged some others, but that problem seems resolved by now. That grow is looking to become huge!

This week I tried to even out the tent a bit better. I LST'd some nugs towards the open spots in the net and I added extra strings to the side of the ScrOG net for a broader space to LST the shoots. For nutrition I fully switched to PLAGRON Terra Bloom. I do however think I need more CALMAG in the nutrition, but it was empty and a new bottle shall arrive soon. Past few days the humidity has been really high (68% RH) because of the weather. Luckily it has changed a bit and the tent is looking better. The nugs look amazing structure wise and I'm curious how the tent will keep maturering.

This week a few small problems started to arise. First of all the humidity. Its been above 60% for the past 3 weeks or so and I cant get it to come down. I put a small dehumidifyer in the tent, but as of yet the RH is still not dropping to desired amounts. Then theres the issue of 2 different plants with different leaf problems. The first plant is in the back. As you might be able to see on the pictures, the back plant is overall a bit lighter then the other plants (as if it has N defficiancy). The leaves overall are lighter at the tips, and darker at the stems/veins. Some leafs in this plant show besides this also browning, yellowing and the appearance of small dark spots/points, as if the leaf was shot with a micro-shotgun. Any ideas what this can be? The second plant with leaf issues is the Front left plant. The plant looks healthy, the leafs are dark green and look nice, but some leafs have dead/yellow/dried spots in the middle of the leaves. It looks really weird and I included pictures above. Any ideas what this can be? As always, I feed my plants from the same pot of water, so I cant have given 1 plant more nutes then another plant. For the rest the grow is going fine. Nugs keep getting denser and look very well. Hopefully they will swell up a lot more soon.

Looks like a magnesium deficiency, coupled with some leaf contact issues and maybe a PH issue, since the nitro they need is a mobile nutrient. Nothing crazy, easy fixes!

First 2 pictures static leaf contact and moisture build up between them. A lot is humidity VPD problem caused by much plant small area and environmental issues day/night. You need dehumidifier exhausting near the air intake not AC! In tent would be no use as extraction will usually clear the tent of air before AC/dehumidifier can have an effect. Dri eaz cube was my solution, but not cheap, you can tool hire one even 😄 I bought one second hand from a pawn shop, no more RH probs, not cheap to run at 1.5kw max but better than tossing bud. Had bud rot, gutting, unsmokeable too.

First 2 pictures - unknown Third Picture im gonna guess nitrogen deficiency ( or in a highly unlikely chance Mosaic virus ) Last 3 pictures are a magnesium deficiency/lockout. <- From either PH out of range, To much food causing lockout or an actual deficiency.

This week some issues started to become quite problematic for the grow. First of all the leaf problems. They haven't improved yet. It took a few days of contemplating, but I think the problems are due to a Calcium & Magnesium defficiency. Since I still had Calciumsulfate, I decided to buy some Epsom salt, and try to fix the problem with that. So since 2 days before these pictures were taken, I started to feed with that. Then came the second issue where I was already afraid of.. the humidity finally took its toll and some of my plants started to show budrot. I removed every piece of budrot I could find, and I hope that the plant will survive. I Installed a mobile airconditioning unit in that room. Im going to use an Y-piece to connect the warm exhaust of the airconditioning unit to the airfilter exhaust form my tent. Hopefully this will work well together and not cause any smell polution. The Airconditioning should then blow cool and dry air in the tent, while collecting water and blowing out the warm air outside of the room. Hopefully this in combination with the feed causes the plants to become healthy again and still produce good flower. Stay positive! :)

This week the tent is starting to look better. Sadly the front left plant still has some shoots developing budrot, but the temperature and RH are declining after the changes we made. I installed a mobile airconditioning unit, that fills the room with colder and dry air. The exhaust is connected to the exhaust of the tent, making sure that the hot and moist air leaves the room. The back plant is also slowly improving. The dead leaves obviously still looking dead as ever, but the plant overall is looking slightly darker green. I'm curious to see how the coming weeks the plants keep growing. Think they have about 3/4 more weeks to go. :)

This week not a lot happened. The back plant is not really improving, but it also doesnt seem to get worse. Since last week I also haven't found new bud rot, which is pretty good news. So for this week I'll just keep watering and feeding the plants as usual, and I hope that the buds keep swelling up. They are extremely dense, but as of yet not that huge. Lets give it a few more weeks!

This week I sadly decided to cut the back plant down prematurely. Technically it wasnt premature since it said it had 8 - 9 weeks flowering and Its been harvested after 9 weeks but I feel like if the plant was healthy it could have swollen up a lot more. I still believe the plant had issues due to the magnesium & calcium defficiency but even though I tried to correct it, the plant did not improve significantly enough for me to think it will mature well so I cut it down. The buds are not huge and not yet fully matured, but they are immensely dense and smell insanely strong. The other plants are looking good and will continue flowering untill they seem to have reached their optimal harvesting moment. Im curious how much the tent is going to be in total and I hope the harvest isn't effected too much. We'll see how the plants continue to ripen the coming weeks. :)

Growing the plant was very easy up untill I got problems in the final weeks of flower. The problems were however probably soil related and not the plants. Plants grew very nice, and the buds are extremely dense. Not huge in size, but extremely dense and heavy.

I absolutely loved growing this strain. It was superfast, gave very dense buds that are very frosty. I hope to keep improving and am looking forward to see how much better the plants can get. Next grow I will also monitor the EC of the soil to see if im not causing any lockouts in the growing medium. I will also see if I can provide the ladies some extra nutrients to really create some monsters. I didnt weigh the wet weight of the buds, as it was simply too much for me to correctly weigh it. The dry weight was correctly weighed. As always I will keep updating the growdiaries. Sometimes I get busy and its quiet for a few weeks, but I always make the pictures and will post everything so every diary is complete. Follow me if you want to see my coming grows! :)

Hey there friend. looking at your diary, Would you be alright with me offering some pointers? So cannabis plants LOVE heat and humidity. It is the buds that hate it. In veg we want to take advantage of this fact to help our plants grow along much quicker and more vigorously. In veg we can look for temps of 79-84 MAX with lights on & no more than 9 degrees less with lights off. If we allow for too much temperature swing between lights on and lights off while the plant is still growing vertically up to day 20 of flower, We will cause the plant to stretch ALOT which we do not want. So in veg & early flower, Keeping our temperature gaps nice and close between lights on and off is key. Utilizing humidity in our rooms during veg will also help out a lot with more rapid growth but we must introduce it properly. In our rooms we have our temperature and humidity set-points, But when we combine those 2 it forms a third set-point which is the most important & that is called VPD, Vapor pressure deficit. I strongly recommend every new grower or old grower who has not learned it yet, To study and understand it & implement it into your room, Logging your numbers daily. https://cerescann.com/importance-of-measuring-vpd/ For soil, We generally want to go for a PH of 6.1. This website does a GREAT job of illustrating it with a nice graph & very good detailed explanation for soil. https://autoflowerseedshop.com/cannabis-ph-chart-guide/ As we briefly touched on before, During veg & early flower we want our temperature gap's nice and tight to avoid stretch. Why exactly our plants stretch in response to this is a genetic trigger being activated by the environmental stress essentially telling the plant the end of the season is closer than it really is. In veg & early flower the plant is still in its first stage of development which is to grow up wide and tall so when it produces seed, It can cast them out nicely. Remember, Whether we are growing our plants for seed or bud their genetic responses do not change as they gh sidedo not know any different. Once the plant has finished that first stage of growth by weeks 4-6 of flower with most strains, It is by day 20 of flower. Autoflowers you have to watch for it, But once the plant has finished this goal its new mission is to focus 100% on producing nice big flower clusters & to get very sticky so it can attract pollen to it successfully. So once that vertical growth is finished, We actually now want to begin to expose our plants to larger temperature swings between lights on and lights off. This will help activate that genetic response and allow us to draw out the most potential from the strain utilizing the plants genetic triggers to environmental stresses at the right times. We can also take this a step further with doing light deprivation in the last 2 weeks using less light to simulate cloud cover. Very cold feed temps on the last flush is very good too. If you do not have them already, Get yourself a good PAR meter & thermal laser temp gun to monitor your plant top temperatures & optimize how much light your plants are getting. We are currently in the middle of producing a very comprehensive tutorial series for everybody to learn from & understand how to grow the highest level craft cannabis all on their own. If this interests you please check out our youtube and subscribe. The first 2 episodes are out the next one is coming in a few days. If you should ever have any questions or need any help, Please feel free to follow my profile and shoot me a DM. I will gladly help you with the pull down & make sure you get the best quality harvest possible as it is the most important step of the entire process. Happy growing friend!

@Ibanhead, Im not promoting, just pointed out what a mug you were to ignore! looking at your tent of moulding money wasted. It's good advice, thought it was ironic " helping a fellow grower" as requested, that someone already took the time to do just that! Always read the instructions even if you intend to ignore them. @LegacyMarketFarm, even looking at the pictures from then I suspect the back centre buds, hard to see, probably dew off walls with little airflow. It is terrible to see after so much good work and effort. We all learn how NOT to grow many times, walk before you can run, be thankful for what you can produce, not greedy and most importantly, provide the appropriate environmental conditions each stage. Biggest fail is go big with little planning or practice. So close and so much effort. Flowering cycle conditions are hard to maintain for this type of grow, end of case investigation
Foffukuntz
Foffukuntzcommentedweek 143 years ago
I'm going to guess it's night cycle problem. At 19c with lights off in late flower your RH would need to be 35-40% Anything 70% or higher at this temperature is a risk (the cause) of mould and plant stress. Your day of 29c and 60% is not far off. The diary doesn't show night RH but it's going to be around "dew point" and guaranteed disappointing, for big grows you need big solutions. I am concerned after all your good work. I forgot to explain why AC will make it WORSE....As warm, moist air mixes with cold, dry air. The relative humidity will increase and water will condense causing mould and rot, just a waste of electricity and nothing to do with pH or deficiency 😓

@LegacyMarketFarm, thankfully mine can handle the equivalent of just over 90 u.s. pints a day 🤣 don't want to over work it. Today's weather is perfect for lights off for example, meaning it wasn't needed today, I like oversized as it doesn't have to work so hard as a lesser whole house domestic unit would. Decide what you want to do, research equipment needed to do that and obtain rated over what you need equipment if you can afford to, it will pay in the long run!
LegacyMarketFarm
LegacyMarketFarmcommented3 years ago
@@Foffukuntz, From my limited tent growing experience, I recommend a 50 pint dehu nothing smaller when doing a 4x4 or 5x4 tent. The more GPH it can dry out the better. It is for sure one of the pieces of equipment you do not want to skimp out on if you got a good amount of plant matter & potential moisture release.

Foffukuntzcommented3 years ago
@Ibanhead, so just because you flicked a switch the plant instantly needs 50% RH not similar to veg for up to 2 weeks then. Not to mention night temperature difference that helps trigger bud puts your plants at risk of high RH ( clearly as all pics show ) which in later weeks lead to stress and worse like bud rot, mould, leaf health problems, but hey, you cop a strop " spamming my diary" I bow to your knowledge on VPD and how a plant grows.... You don't need to learn a thing, sorry I bored you.

Legacy market advised you WEEK 3 😱😱😱 To be brutally honest, bud rots been coming last few weeks. If you don't do anything sensible you'll end up with nothing. The discoloured calmag deficiency labelled pics in diary are screaming pull me, I'll come out the rotting bud easy. You live and learn, I had this with a grow. Best you can do is fix nights but bud rot will be all over soon as it's spores spread and multiply. Dri eaz cube or lose out? Hire one ffs. Put it outside tent, even blowing at a cracked open tent door, set it to 50% RH and it will make it like 24c and 50% in tent in no time, it pumps itself out and runs at 70db. Downside, not cheap even hire,if it dried it out,it may spread mould spores. Your options are limited,as is your time to act. I wish you very best of luck

Dehumidifier in tent is pointless with extraction, especially as it should be replacing air in tent at least a couple of times a minute, Im looking for your extraction fan in pics or mention of it, it needs to be substantial and really pulling air at night with your problem, at least 250cfm3 or more. Anyway, don't think I'm picking, it said grower needs help and it was right!

Wow! What a grow! Love seeing all of the bulk packaging. Like going to Costco, but for cannabis!

Not to mention the amount of water held in those go big breathable pots....that transfer water to air beautifully.
