These ladies are SO BEAUTIFUL! Their appearance is only outdone by their smell. #2 is smelling like fruit punch but tropical. #1 is smelling less punch-like now, with an added lemon/pine/gas.
#1 is getting super chunky still, with purple tinges on the tops. #2 is getting more fox-taily already, but still chunky lol
Runoff was on the high side, so I skipped feeding for two lowppm feedings. PH has always been a perfect 5.9-6.0. These ladies still look happy, but almost seem slightly stressed from the light yet. I'm guessing these are the burnt parts I failed to notice and am noticing them now.
Sad and Bad news...
One of the plants from another breeder that I was keeping an eye on ended up busting a nut yesterday...I was amazed by the amount of pollen that dropped from one calyx/ball... I misted all the lowers of that plant and the Xxx#2 next to it with water, but I am guessing it is too late. I will be hoping and praying that these XXX ladies are minorly affected at the most.
I just flipped the clone tent to 12/12, so I may need to chuck the other genetics if they keep throwing balls. These XXX ladies are too beautiful to be pollinated by other herms :(

@Hotcrossbuns, wow that is tricky, you had to be really patient to find that! Id handle that the same way too on the herm, pray and hope for the best!

@Tater3333, I'm just expecting a few beans now at the least. Hopefully she doesnt get fully seeded. Herm was directly next to both xxx ladies, OF COURSE... Ive still got 3-4 weeks left, so we will see... removed the one pollen-sac i could find, but it already dropped pollen. This herm lady had a male-parts grow inside of female calyx. Tricky mofo. I plucked most of them, but there will always be that one....
My xxx#2 smells more acidic and gassy but still fruity, but my #1 is full on fruit punch with tropical vibes. XXX seems very stable though, as far as intersex traits go.

@Hotcrossbuns, oh no..So your thoughts are it will herm the rest? I had that happen on 10th planet but it never got to the rest of the girls. Hope it all works out for ya! Im getting closer to that smell....

@Hotcrossbuns, I can see the end game gene is strong, they are very nice looking. I have 5 clones going from mine, I grabbed them early and just brought them along in cottage cheese tubs. No topping but they are kicking right along. Hoping for a big ole pineapple shaped cola on the top. 😊
