I think I saw preflowering on the Skywalker this week. I will keep an eye out on her over the next few days. She got a feeding of nutes this week and she is doing really good. I do wish her root growth was a little better but she seems to like the nutes. I am still getting the hang of the DWC and do think I am doing a pretty good job as of now in growing using this method
She is in flower too. This is what I love about autos. And I also think for my first attempt at DWC I'm doing pretty darn good. I think her roots are interesting I feed this plant the same amount of nutes weekly that I feed my Zams but her roots hold onto the nutes making them look unhealthy. I wonder if my airstone is not working as well in this DWC compared to the other one I have going.
This week was a bad one for this baby here. I'm not willing to give up on her yet but I think I may have to accept the fact our journey may be over. How did we get here you may ask. I noticed yesterday 6.8 that the water in the DWC had a very not pleasant smell so I thought I needed to change my water that smell can't be good. After a water change and re-adding in the nutes I put her back into her bucket. Not even an hour later she was starting to lean to the side. Lights came on today 6.9 and she was even droopier. Her stems feel hollow where they used to feel thick and strong. Man this DwC is a little harder than I thought it would be. 6.11 update, her stems on the lower half have regained their sturdyness and no longer feel like rubber. It looks like the lower stems are trying to stand tall again. The wilted leaves I took because they were turning brown. My thought was she can recover better if she is not focused on fixing what's already dead. The next few days will determine if she makes it or not. And her roots are still strong and growing so that is also giving me hope 6.13 update, so today I felt her stalk and it was solid like it was before her branches and leaves all look and feel healthy the top of her though I don't think that part is coming back. At this point she will keep going so I can see what happens
So far I have to say I'm amazed at how well she bounced back after being at deaths door last week. But at this point I don't even know what week of flower to say she is in. I can see that she is starting to flower again.
I will be watching very closely to see if she herms on me because of the stress she just went through. Got a little advice over the week so I think we will be ok from here on out.
I love her roots they look just as healthy as her buds and leaves. I am super happy I did not think hastily and pull this beautiful lady here. She continues to surprise me everyday.
No issues at all this week. Her roots are still looking healthy she got another feeding and her water topped almost everyday this week. Week update after topping her water she started to show yellowing. Her roots look really good. I did move her over to a different tent under a stronger light and I keep hoping that's the issue and she is adjusting to the new brightness.
All I can say is the struggle has been real with this lady, she is a true drama queen. I moved her under a better higher powered light and she decided she was going to start turning yellow on me. Nothing else changed just the light like UGH everytime I give you something new you don't like it. But I digress after turning the power of the light down she started darkening again. I will be keeping an eye as always on this Queen
This plant did not produce any smokeable buds, I used her roots to make salve. The DWC experience was stressful and did not work the way I was hoping it would
