First week of growing! Hennie (as she is called) bumped her head through the soil, hungry for some solar beams.
I'm growing one Royal Queen Dwarf on my balcony for fun. Using Plagron Alga grow + Plagron Alga Bloom nutrients.
Did some more serious outdoor growing in the past when I had a garden.
Hey guys! Some leaves (particularly new ones) are curling a bit. I've been giving my plant Plagron Terra Bloom since 1.5 weeks now. Anything to do with the nutrients? I read different stories on the web but not sure.. Any suggestions?
Ok, this has nothing to do with nitrogen toxicity since you're not giving her much to begin with! This has everything to do with how much water you're giving her and I think you're overwatering although you don't give any info on how much that is in a 24-hour period (if you give her 1 gallon of water every three days, for example, then you're giving her .3 gallons in a 24-hour period)... So take care of this issue... lift the pot up if you think she needs something to see how heavy it is - or stick your finger in the soil down about an inch or two... wait to give her something until the pot is SUPER lightweight or the top couple of inches is dry. Overwatering is the quickest way to kill your plant...

Alright! Week 7 is done! She still grew quite a bit, from 55cm to 69cm in 1 week. Hopefully she's gonna put all the energy in flowering now. Some small issues, some curling leaves like I mentioned earlier and spotted some aphids on lower leaves, which I deleted. Also a few leaves with tiny holes.
-> I'll be checking my lady often for bugs and stuff.
-> I'll be more precisely with giving water + nutrients and only water when really thirsty.
Besides from all that, I think she is doing fine!
Think the week went well, the buds definitely grew compared to 1 week ago.
Had to remove another mealybug today though. But the situation seems under control.
She is 70cm high now and putting al the energy in flowering for sure :). I hope she'll be done in exactly 4 weeks because I'm going on a small holiday then. But I'm afraid that will be too early haha. We'll see!
I don't think she'll be ready in 3 weeks I'm afraid... Haha. Overall, she's doing good! Removing some aphids every now and then. But haven't seen any mealybugs around anymore!
Good weather, good week. Buds are starting to look nice :D The smell is really good as well. Really sweet and kinda like watermelon actually. Some leaves are deteriorating now she's further with flowering. But she's fine. She won't be done before my holidays in 2 weeks I'm afraid. We'll see!
You are about right with two weeks. I would flush soil, and do water till harvest. Letting her fade. Checking trichromes across plant for a prime cloudy/ amber Mixon buds not leaves is important when looking for desired ripeness. I like 70 percent cloudy, 30 amber. But a 90/10 is acceptable. Enjoy
She did fine in my week on holidays! Getting close to harvest. No rot so far :) She's on a different address now, so she has to stay alive for another week.
Decided to chop the whole plant! Some parts could have stay bit longer. But since the plant is not at my home anymore and there is coming more rain....
Removed all the big leaves and it will dry for 2 weeks now and then I'm going to trim the buds better. Really wondering about the quality and the total weight. Looks like quite some and smell is pretty strong :)
Well, well, well! After two weeks of drying, it's super dry and crispy and it was ready for the final cut.
Some bigger buds, but most of it is small stuff. It's quite fluffy and you can see its an outdoor grow. But it's really sticky and smelly. Definitely a strong smell haha. During growth it smelled a bit like melon, now it's more a sweet lemon smell. Pretty good!
In total it makes 13grams. Not disappointed :)
