SO WHAT ended up with more weight? The short fatty in the 3 gallon or the 5’3 lengthy one in the 7 gallon?? Drum roll 🥁 3 gal-48.8 grams 7 gal-46.6!! Damn what a close one. Again just going to stick with the 3 gallons from now on. I can get more plants per light 😉 the tall one definitely had that haze come through. Since the buds aren’t dense I’m going to press the whole thing into rosin.
I added a couple pics of what looks like rust spots on the leaves of only the tall plant in 7 gallon. I’ve given these two plants the exact same feeding so not sure what is causing it.
Awesome grow. Weird conclusion.
I have learned to try to use the pot size that you think the strain will use.
I like to grow large autos like Incredible Bulk Autos and the entire Dinafem Seeds XXL auto strains. They do very well in 7 gal pots.
I have always choose pot size like this.
Small autos = 3 gal pot
Medium autos = 5 gal pot
Large autos = 7 gal pot
Monster autos = 10 gal pot
Hmm maybe I should try 5 gal pots for my XXL Strains.
Nice butt! Oops i mean nice buds!
Sorry, had to say it xD
From the soil up my auto got to 50", it stopped growing after i bended the top 90 degrees lol..
I think that in my case it was heatstress, it was extremely hot and dry here.
@diamondtrichomes, also if the problem is fixed the damage on the leaves will always be there so it will look like the problem is still there when its really not. If using tap, fluoride can axualy lock out some nutes and create deficancys. I was having the same issues and started using distilled water and all the issues went away..
@diamondtrichomes, I'm not big on foliar,I Feel like it dosnt make a difference in my opinion. I would always add cal mag to the watering regimen and feeding especially if using coco. Cal mag issues usually pop up during week 3-6 of flower as well. What kind of water are you using? Tap, filtered/ spring,ro/distilled ?
