Had these genetics sitting for a while collecting dust and I needed a heavy sativa to balance out all the indicas so this happened to be the winner. Will only get a 6 week veg out of this so let's see if she can give me 5oz to hold me over, I doubt I'll be growing anything in the fall as I've got way to much bud laying around. At this point I'm more in love with the process than I am with smoking the finished product.
Could've left it in the 1 gallon for another week or 2 but why, she does have some wine burn from being outside in high winds but it builds character and stronger branches. I use roots oregonism to transplant along with work castings, if you do some good research it has THE MOST humid acid (10%) which is by far the most compared to other companies along with beneficial bacteria. Don't say I didn't share the cheat code with you ladies and gentlemen go buy it.
Haven't done anything besides pin it down with a spike and feed more water than nutes these days. Temperature is starting to get higher every day and I find myself giving them .5L or more at this stage in life. Not sure if I am going to top or FIM but it will be done before the next update.
Decided to work on my FIM technique a little more as I like how it grows outdoors. She's very healthy looking and green, very impressed by the genetics on this. Plant has another 3 weeks of veg or so according to the light schedule in my area and the neighbors tree from last year.
Plant has a beautiful round structure after the FIM, havent done any real training to it and I don't think I will unless it gets crazy looking. Plants a calm 17" starting its 5th week of veg and that's fine by me, would like for it to simply get to about 2ft before the flip in 2 weeks and hopefully she can give me back 4-6oz which is very doable.
Love the structure of this plant, FIM and its been growing very round. Plants flipped sooner than I expected so I did my best job training her, don't have any other Sativa's going so I need her to be a decent producer.
So let's be honest this is a bulk seed from outside of GOG because they didn't have all of these different strains in storage and decided to sell it since it popped up overnight. With that being said this is some good bulk seed genetics lol, this plant looks amazing for the short veg time it had.
Had high winds and it took it first tumble of the grow, the burning you're seeing in the picture is from it laying on the hot roof for jesus knows how long. I just snipped the burned parts of and kept it pushing, nothing else that can be done and I didn't lose a branch so smiles all around. I have stopped training for the most part, I've learned there is such a thing as overtraining outdoors and it causes you to lose branches.
Defoliated this plant about 2 weeks ago and don't plan to do it again despite how vigorous it's growing, the leaves aren't big and its getting serious sunlight to the bottom of the trunk. for a 1 month veg time the growth is very impressive, would love to come back with 6oz+ with the size of the tree alone going to see if its possible in a few more weeks.
I said wasn't training anymore plants but why not, I'll do it next week lol. She's getting a lot of light penetration into the canopy without the additional training so I'm not sure if I want to add bricks to this plant, already have enough weight on the roof as is
Plant took a fall a few times this week and I had to brace it with a cinder block and the leaves got burned for however long it stayed on the hot roof. Still flowering good so all is well
Bud production has increased significantly and so has the smell, looks like she needs another month before harvest. Leaves are getting purple but at a slower rate compared to the others
Plant has another 2-3 weeks judging by the trichrome, weather outside can no longer sustain growth so I will finish the plant inside under a 330w Growcraft. Have a lot of yelling but just enough green to keep driving photosynthesis.
Plant was technically being kept alive with water for the past 2 weeks until I finished trimming the Purp and Runtz. The leaves were dying at this point but the buds were pretty good with nice coloring. I finally got through cutting it down and it weighed in at 9.71oz, if it had enough time to finish up outdoors I'm sure it could've been 12oz+. I smoke solo anyway and not sharing so its still alot and more than half gets sealed and put away for a rainy day. Had a sample of it this morning at 8am EST time now is 11:21am EST and im still pretty high, I will say for now its long lasting and not very intense great for being high and unnoticed at the office lol. It will cure for 3 weeks before I give it an actual review and then sit it until end of novemver before i have it again so stay tuned.
Very heavy sativa, smoked after a 3 week cure at 1pm and I had to nap it off, it definitely does not lack in the potency department. Buds grew big, stacked and fragrant, will be keeping this in rotation.
Total 9.7oz seemed very low for the size of the tree, figured the weight dipped from having to finish flowering indoors. Either way its more than I can smoke on my own still quality smoke
@GuerillaGorilla, the weather here can get really brutal and in a hurry after labor day. Its been raining since Monday night and stopped around 9am today and it hasn't been above 73F, so these bitches need to shape up in a hurry because these small ones I'll tie some rope too and lower them off the roof and flower them inside my 5x3. I'll be goddam if I lose my harvest to cold and mold
@GuerillaGorilla, I figured I was around and indoor week 3 or so of flower looking at it. This outdoor business is free energy but you pay for the headache of judging when it ACTUALLY starts flowering BC itll preflower for damn near a month before You see some production
Congrats on the harvest and the slipper pic made me laugh. Maybe we should start a new category of strains called ‘office weed’. In Canadian offices it’s like the old military policy in the states, Don’t Ask Don’t Tell.
@Kloud9gardenz, the last two years I’ve taken the season off work to be full time grower. It’s much more satisfying but yes it is a lot of work. I’m sure that on a hourly basis it makes more sense to be an engineer, but this is way more fun.
@Northern_Ent, first of all you gotta get some of these sneakers slippers they're SUPER comfy I even got the timberland version 😂.
Secondly thanks for the congratulations, I was pretty tired of watching this plant and was ready to be done. I'm usually always high at work lol only 1 person ever knows BUT I definitely have "office weed" available for my pre-work smoke. They don't make my eyes red or low and they're all about 70% and better Sativa's, Anesia Haze Queen/Gorilla Glue #4 gets the job done and they're none the wiser. Vision Seeds Choco Bud is also amazing but I forgot to complete the diary, I'm taking a 6 month break from plants after my current run is complete around end of November I'm exhausted
@GuerillaGorilla, buds are very solid and sense. Wished it was nicer outside felt the sub would've really fatten up the buds some more. On a good note she's very frosty and sticky so hopefully a decent 6-7oz
