Trying a two strain DWC, I know it's not the best idea but I'm going to give it a go. Running Mega Crop 2 part, previously ran the 1 part and I already am liking this stuff better just based on how well it dissolves. They also dropped whatever made it brown and smelly so that is a plus as well. The Jammy Dodgers #2 plants are a few days older than the others. One of the (Skywalker x CDLC) x Mango Smile came up with some twisted leaves, we'll see how that turns out.

Things are looking good so far. There has been some really nice growth this 2nd week. I've got roots into buckets on all of the plants at this point. Aside from the one (Skywalker x CDLC) x Mango Smile having some weird-looking leafs everything looks good. That plant has actually grown a ton in a short period of time and has the largest root mass so far. I'm hoping to get some monsters. The plants really seem to like the Mega Crop 2 part, no much else to say there.

Some good growth this week. I have it listed as the 3rd week of veg but it's really more like the end of the 2nd. Week 1 of this diary really should be germination but I can't go back and change it. All in all it's been about 21 days since they popped up for the Jammy Dodgers #2 and 16-17 for the (Skywalker x CDLC) x Mango Smile. One of the mango crosses put down roots really fast and is about the same size as the Jammys, I've upped the nutes a bit this week and added some Hydroguard just to be safe. We're sitting at 520 PPM and 5.8 PH going into the 3rd week of veg. Probably going to top the largest ones sometime near the end of the week or the weekend.

Lots of growth this week, had a mishap with some plant benders on one of the (Skywalker x CDLC) x Mango Smiles. The plant just grew too fast and completely snapped two bottom branches off. I'm not going to stress it too much, should still grow out just fine. I'm starting to see some pistils on some of the plants, and I expect them to really take off this next week as they start stretching. I seem to have over done it a bit with the Nitrogren. You'll see on the pictures of the plant that is out of the tent how dark it is. I'm also seeing some clawing on one of the mango crosses so thinned out my nutes last week after I noticed and it seems to be helping a bit. I'm doing a rez change tonight that has a lower N ratio so hopefully that helps as well.

I'm changing out the rez one day early this week. The plants have just been eating so much that the PPMs were down below 200 even after topping up a couple of days ago. This week should be the transition week where they really start to stretch, I am seeing preflowers on all of the plants and the growth seems to have picked up across the board. After scaling back the nitrogen last week the Jammy Dodgers are doing great. The mango smiles seem a bit beat up but are still growing, I'm hoping they will stabilize a bit this week as the N ratio is even lower. In the top-down shots you should be able to see 4 main nodes on 3 of the plants, they seem to all be matching pace for growth rates. Hoping for some nice bushes. I decided not to top one of the mangos as it was the youngest and smallest when I went to do the topping. She seems a bit stunted anyway so I think I made the right call there. I also decided to take some root pictures, they're all looking really nice. Seems like hydroguard works well at preventing root issues and encouraging growth.

We're going to call this week 1 of flower, the plants seem to be hitting their stretch and I'm seeing the start of more than just pre-flowers. My Jammys are looking really nice and I'm super happy with those. One of my Mango Smile crosses is just fried, and with the RDWC I don't see a way to get it out of that spiral without hurting the other plants so we are just going to let it ride and see how it goes. I can always kill it if I need to. PPMs are going up around 600 this week. The plants have been really hungry aside from the last few days where it seems like they have just been chugging water, making the PH really low. Before I went to bed last night the PH had swung from 5.7 to 4.7 over about 12 hrs. After adjusting last night it was similar this morning so I am working on a rez change right now. I'm also flushing my system for a few hours with PH'd RO water and whatever was left in the buckets from when I drained it. I probably should have done a res change a bit earlier, the PH fluctuation / lack of needed nutrients in the solution seems to have fried a couple of leaves on the Jammys, I'm not going to stress it though as overall they are looking quite good. We're at about 40-41 days from sprout on the Jammys and a couple of days less for the Mango Smiles. I went through and gave the plants that are doing well a bit of a trim job, cutting off the lowest branches that won't do anything / aren't getting any light. You can't even really tell on the Jammys, they filled in very fast. The back right mango cross looks a lot different though, it's the one I didn't top and was growing in very tight and close together and was really needing the cut. This week I've also included a picture of my Home Assistant dashboard that I use for monitoring the tent, and some automations like light timers and exhaust fan control. If anyone has any questions about that I'd be happy to give more info. I use an inkbird humidistat / thermostat combo for temp / humidity control and an Ecowitt GW1100 for getting temp / humidity values into Home Assistant. You can see the sensor bundle hanging around canopy hight behind the plant in the first picture.

My rez was at the point where the PH was going down and PPM was staying the same so I figured I would do a rez swap. This week I am doing 50 g Part A, 22.5 g Part B and 10 g Bud Explosion. PPM is around 700.

Seems like the Jammys are having some problems, they're getting huge and I wonder if I am underfeeding Phosphorous. I have been keeping the nutes pretty light this run but maybe it's time to crank them up? The sickly looking Mango cross continues to put on bud, seems like it's doing OK all things considered.

Got lazy and skipped a week. The plants are starting to fill out nice, I'm thinking the two Jammys and the beat-up mango will be done in the next 3 weeks or so. Maybe another week or two after that for the last one. Megacrop feeding at 4.2g per gallon part A, 1.2 g per gallon part B & 1g per gallon of bud explosion. I recently learned about DLI and I think most of my issues the run were due to running my lights too high and too close. This article does a good job of explaining it: https://growlightmeter.com/lighting-requirements-of-cannabis-over-the-full-grow-cycle/ With the longer light cycle for autos during flower compared to photos, pushing your light at full blast might give you a DLI value way higher than what your plant actually needs leading to burning and other issues. I'm looking at investing in a PAR meter to help dial this in for the next cycle to see how much it helps.

Lazy on the pics this week and they are pretty shitty. Forgot to take some before I got to chopping. Everything is looking good. Got the drying tent set up with a couple AC infinity fans and a controller. I decided to hang the plants whole to try and get a nice long dry. I'll be curing in grove bags.

This stuff grows some really frosty dense nugs. Really happy with how it turned out. I still have one running that I will chop this weekend.

This stuff is super frosty and already has a strong fruity smell. Can't wait to see how it is after the cure. This was a Meph freebie but I would definitely grow it again even though it was a bit more sensitive than the Jammy Dodgers #2

Non male ! Aggiungi ossigeno però, le piante stanno soffrendo un insufficienza di ossigenazione nelle radici . Buono con i fertilizzanti, non male tutto sommato💪buona fortuna amico!

@Yuriboyka99, ah yeah, I am definitely trying to resolve that. I've lowered N ratios considerably over the last couple of weeks but it just doesn't want to come out of it. That's what I get for running two strains in RDWC, Mango Smile is known to be a pretty touchy plant so I think it's just those genetics coming through.

@Yuriboyka99, What makes you say that? I have air stones in each bucket, and 3 airstones in my main rez, the recycling of the water also adds a ton of surface agitation to the main rez. Aside from buying a chiller to allow for more dissolved oxygen in the water I'm not sure there is much else I can do.

Very interesting link you throwed in...it was a good read. Now i wonder if i truly could go below 40 DLI with my photoperiods, according to the page i could go with 30 DLI right now 😏 Your garden looks great by the way 😎💪 I should arrive at that stage in about two weeks time, keep up the good work 😍
the end.
