Germinated in 2 days, in the ground by day 3 and pictures of seedling are day 7. Coming right along.
This is a genetics test for @Fastbuds. I grew 4 plants over the winter and they absolutely killed it. Everyone who has sampled these bud has loved it and I can't wait to try these new ones out. Best genetics I have grown so far. Might stick with this brand going forward
Everything is good. Switched them to a 19:6 light schedule with the dark period during the hottest point in the day. These are growing in a small shed so ambient temperatures play an important role and light and exhaust cycles have to be adjusted to maximize physical variables.
Lights are set to 30-40% and around 30 inches above the soil. Humidifier keeps RH around 55%.
They seem to be doing really well and are taking off.
They are looking great, growing well. I gave them an extremely small shot of nutrients and the leaves are darkening a bit so will slack off till week 4.
Pictures are day 22 from seed.
Started LST this week. This plant is doing amazing and is considerably bigger then the same aged plants grown last winter. Much easier to maintain ideal conditions during the spring and summer. Expecting some nice buds by the end of this grow.

I am now increasing my nutes as I move into flowering. Pistils have emerged at nodes but not at cola apices. I finished LST this week. I noticed some yellow tips on newest growth and I know my nute regime has been low, so assuming a deficiency. Boron, P or K likely. Aiming to correct and slowly increase as I go into full flowering. Pictures are day 35 from seed.
Coming right along. I upped nutes last two weeks but think I am still safe from over feeding. I have finished LST and need to defoliate more this coming week. This plant seems a little lanky and stretched out more then 2209 and 2212. Could be genetics. Could be TS1000 vs P1500 or XS1500 for the other two plants.
I accidentally tossed an extra 1L of nutrient water at this plant instead off 2210. It likely works out cause 2211 is the largest and 2210 is the smallest plant in the 4x4.

Moved this plant from the front to the back to make it easier to finish LST and defoliating on two other plants. This plant is the largest of all 4 with the most node spacing between bud sites. Trichomes are just starting to appear.
Anyway. No signs of deficiency or over feeding. No signs of under or over watering. Everything seems good. Some slight red on stalks and petioles, so slight under feeding of P or K. Humidity is hovering between 55 and 65 which I am okay with for now. I added black strap molasses and set dehumidifier to 60%. Will drop to 55% next week, and 50% for final weeks.
Pictures coming soon
Another great week. The plants are finally showing some deficiencies....going to have to figure this one out. Some yellowing of lower leaves...nitrogen. Some small brown spots on new leaves. Cal/mag, other??? Need to look more closely at the spotting and other features showing. I know this is not a pH issue cause they have been fed very little overall with lots of fresh balanced water inbetween feedings so I am going to increase the nutes a little this week. Anyway....loving this grow. Tried to trim a little more leaves and tried to make sure small branches not receiving light are removed.
This plant seems to be the furthest along in development and the buds seem to be stacking nicely. Unfortunately I think I underfed this plant or gave too much fresh water between feedings last week and, as a result, I saw a substantial yellowing of the remaining fan leaves and some dark purple and brown splotches forming on those leaves. I suspect that N and P are deficient. So, 2203 last winter developed very similarly to 2211 this summer in regards to plant structure and the timing of bud development. One big difference is the fade didn't start in earnest until week 9 for 2203 and I was certainly feeding more grow and micro last winter, meaning both N and P would have been higher...so now I am scrambling to make sure this plant has enough nutrients to bulk up over the next 2 or 3 weeks and hope there are enough healthy leaves to do what needs to be done. Fingers crossed.
So this plant looks pretty good. I really like the node spacing and the buds are starting to fill that space in. Lots of new white pistils so still some bulking left. Might not get a top to bottom cola without any space between buds but that is what it is. The fan leaves have almost entirely faded so bulking up may be limited but I am going to run all three plants for another 2 weeks to get some amber trichome development. Lots of cloudy trichomes so some time left.
Pictures are day 70
Ok, so three of the four plants have still been adding new calyx and pistils over the last little while. This plant seems to more or less reached the end of the cycle. I want to chop it but also want the other three to go a little longer. Operating with the one grow and dry area so I am risking it and running this one for another 1-2 weeks. She has been on pure water diet for most of this week and won't receive anything but water for the rest of the grow.
I really like the chonky bud structure and spacing on these colas. It also has quite a bit of trichome covering the calyx. This is my second favorite plant based on look alone. Can't wait to try 2211
So, I took these plants from seed to harvest over 88 days. Maybe a little longer then some would go, but I am glad I did. I underfed for most of this grow, but upped the nutrients in the last 3 to 4 weeks and this resulted in an explosion of growth all throughout the last two weeks when they were being fed water. I wanted to keep going but I was happy with everything and don't want to risk issues developing from growing too long. They had 24 hours of darkness, have been chopped and are now drying in the dark at 55%RH.
I am ecstatic that @fast_buds selected me to test their genetics and I think they have some winners here. Hopefully I can continue to partner with them on future genetics tests and show the versatility of their strains. Next up will be my 4 favorite plants from the last two grows and I am going to feed them a little more consistently to see how things turn out.
This was a great plant. The buds are nice and dense, the colas had nice node spacing, and it was a decently frosty plant. This was one of four testers grown during the summer of 2022 and, overall, this plant produced the largest colas with the largest and most dense buds. A decent amount of frost was produced for 2211. During the summer 2022 grow I tried a hybrid nutrient regime with inorganic nutes supplied by General Hydro and I supplemented my feeding schedule with NPK RAW microbes, kelp and molasses. This worked fairly well and the buds smell great and have a decently flavourful vape. I don't love citrus when vaping but there is a nice sweetness to this strain when vaped at low temps that gives way to the richer wood flavours at high temps. I think I would have had a better yield if I had a stronger feeding regime, which I am trying with the fall 2022 grow now.
