Bought clones to complete my first grow experiment.
Fully transported into the Aerogarden. Low nutes while they adjust, 600 ppm.
They are already showing pistols so treating like they’re week 3 veg.
Had these going for about a week now. I understand that clones sometimes take awhile to recover fully when moving to hydro. So I am ok with them getting a bit droopy over the week.
I’m going to Keep it the same this week and then add more nutes next week.
Update day 9 in water:
Leaves started looking bad and burned. Ph6 but nutes shot up to 900s.
I changed the water ph6 and 380 ppm, removed bloom. And noticed the pump kept pushing out old roots. I took it apart and cleaned tf out of it. There were a bunch of dead roots in there.
I also removed the air stone, it’s a common factor of all of the plants that haven’t done well. I reckon I’ll wash it and see it that helps.

I’ve gone to even half of that and it’s working a lot better.
I’m at about .75ml on each on of the nutes I’m using.
Can my Growmies check my update on this week please? Ppm shot up and I noticed nute burn. Weird bc I have only added water since last week. I cleaned the pump, removed air stone and lowered ppm. Definitely seems like too much nutes - hoping they’ll perk up.
if theyre getting droopy root issues is a possibility. as i remember your reservoir temps were high which decreases the dissolved oxygen in the water drastically and promotes bad microbial growth. i know you use hydroguard but sometimes thats not enough.
as for too much nutes. yeah 600ppm is too much for those little gals i’m not a hydro guy but half of that could work better i guess.
however as i mentioned your setup is for growing lettuce and cannabis is a high energy plant and requires higher intensity lighting. all youll get in that setup will be spindly clones.
Not going so well with these. Think I gave them too many nutes. Might be root rotted bc the roots never grew since I took them out of their clone homes.
Put them in a pot outside. We’ll see what happens from here!
These guys are back. We’ll at least one. Glad to see it when I got back.
Bent one over for some LST and it’s doing great. Will likley top it next week once it’s grown sideways enough
Dunno what week we’re in. Left all the plants outside in pots and these little ones are finally flowering.
All of the plants are flowering but these ones are about 3 weeks ahead of the others.
Might have over watered a bit. Needs cal msg and flowering nutes.
Cannot believe where these are from where they started.
These went outside for quite some time and then transitioned back inside when it began to freeze in Colorado.
The leaves are beginning to turn purple.
Had to trim all the fan leaves bc of a pm and thrip issue. Got them under a powerful light and they are still blooming.
Chopping soon but will flush prior.
This plant was super resilient and my first harvest. I stunted it in every way possible. Got thrips and took back every fan leave stopping photosynthesis but pushed thru to the end and got some buds to smoke.
Ultimately I learned a hard lesson and molded my buds bc I didn’t dry them long enuff. Lesson learned.
I actually had a couple clones, one took off and revegged. It’s growing now keep an eye on the other diary.
