This little seedling was the last seed of my current batch to finish germinating. It's a strain I'm very anxious to try and one that features relatively high THC and CBD content, Formula One Plus from EC Genetics.
Soaked the bean overnight in distilled water and then put her into a peat pellet in a germination tray with PH balanced water (sitting on heat mat). Sprout popped within 48 hours. On about day 7 I noticed the tip of the remaining seed shell was clamping onto on one of cotyledon leaves and the first set of new leaves leaves below so I had to do some minor surgery to remove the shell and get them apart. She moved along nicely after that. Roots coming well through the peat pellet today (about 11 days since dropping the seed) and I moved her into a 5 gallon DWC bucket with light nutes. Top feedings for the next few days until she gets established.

THC: 20% - 22%
CBD: 7-9%

The Formula One Plus is off to the races. Roots have started to establish themselves nicely and she's growing a little bigger every day.
Still rocking the same light dose of nutes in the buckets that we started with a week ago - there was a small top-up today. It will probably be another week before we do a rez change.

The Formula One Plus is picking up speed.
Growth has accelerated over the past week with leaves and roots looking strong and healthy.
No big PH swings during the week and she was feeding well. Rez change today with a slight increase in feed, running at about .7 EC.
She'll get a FIM in the next day or two - my big meat hooks just need a slightly larger top to dig into 😉

The Formula One Plus is growing well.
Did some defoliation a few days after last weeks FIMing and she's already filled back in significantly.
PH has ranged between 5.6-6.1 through the week; EC .3-.4. Rez change today with another bump in nutes.

The Formula One Plus is continuing to grow very well despite my bouts of neglect. It was a busy week and I missed a couple of her daily checkups and found her PH was running as high as 6.7 😮 I try to shoot for 5.8-6.2. A bit of rust on some leaves as a result but hopefully we're back in the zone now.
I did another bout of light defoliation a few days ago and she quickly filled back in.
I changed her rez yesterday, added flowering nutes, and flipped the lights to 12/12. I'll likely get her into the ScrOG later this week.

The Formula One Plus has rolled into flower and is looking quite magnificent.
I employed the ScrOG net right after last week's update and she's started to fill it out her half nicely.
EC has been be running between 1.2-1.4. She's been feeding well. PH has been anywhere from 5.7 - 6.5; typically she'll be between 5.9/6.1 👍

The Formula One Plus is looking great.
She's a pretty good feeder. EC at start of the week was around 1.4 (700 PPM) and she's been down near 1.0 (520 PPM). Rez change yesterday, back around 1.4 again.
Flowers are happening and the two plants in this tent have spread out and filled up the tent pretty nicely.
I did a bit of pruning and cut some of the lower branches away on both plants. I'll do more maintenance once the stretch is over.

The Formula One Plus is cruising!
She grew another 10" since last week and she is super branchy with lots of undergrowth. I do a bit of pruning every day, getting rid of the stuff that won't make it to the top of the canopy. I'm hoping she's about done stretching so I don't have to take any drastic action to keep things contained. ✌️
She's still been feeding and drinking well. A PH spike to 6.5 at the end of the week just prior to her rez change, but she's been right around 6/6.1 most of the week with EC around 1.2-1.3. No changes to nutrient regime; rinse, lather, repeat.

Buds are really stacking well and starting to get plump and frosty. She has a sweet, fruity berry smell.

The Formula Plus is looking pretty great. She's finished her stretch and topped out at 41".
I pruned a lot of branches out of her this week. There was a lot of undergrowth and I thinned things out pretty significantly. Much better airflow through the plant now.
Buds on this one are fat and stacks are like chimneys. She's getting a little unwieldy to maneuver for rez changes and feedings and she really wants to lean forward with the growing weight of her branches. It's a bit of a balancing act but so far I'm managing.
It's like a fruit salad in this tent with the combined aromas of sweet berry aroma from this baby and tangerine from the Forbidden Fruit growing next to her. Yum.
EC has been averaging right around 1.6 (800 PPM) most of the week. I let her go for a couple of days before her I changed her rez yesterday and it had climbed to about 2.1 (1060 PPM).

The Formula One Plus is still cruising along. She's got a bit of spotting on the leaves nearest the light - calcium deficiency, my old friend, is that you? - but other than that she's rocking.
Buds are FAT and stacked. Branches are getting heavy and feeding is becoming a balancing act. She's got a nice, sweet berry smell.
2 or 3 more weeks to go. Looking forward to the harvest!

The Formula One Plus is racing towards the finish line. Buds are fat, heavy, and sticky. Branches are bending hard.
Trichs on the plant are most cloudy with some amber starting to show. I'll likely chop her tomorrow along with other plant in the tent.

I was pretty intrigued by this strain as it promised both pretty high TCH (20-22%) and high CBD content (7-9%). While it delivers on the CBD front, I don't think it's anywhere near 20% THC. A very mellow buzz that helps to alleviate the chronic pain in my shoulders. Burns nice and slow in a blunt with a nice, sweet, berry flavour. I just wish it was stronger.
The Formula One Plus was a pretty easy grow. She had impressive sticky, chunky buds and an intriguing berry/shoe-polish kind of fragrance. A very nice strain if you like something not too strong with some CBD properties to sooth your aches and pains.
@Oozle, I hope so! It's nice to have two plants of the same relative size in there for a change. I'm hoping there will be no need to boost buckets this time around. 🤞
