So I will be making week start and week end posts for this diary, allowing me to showcase the growth throughout the week the way id like and to make comments as I go along.
Just put these down in their netty pots.
I covered the rockwool cubes and buried the stems just a touch as this should help with fungus gnats wanting to come for the moisture in the cube.
Started my nutrient solution by adding a total of 2ml of each GMB to 1 gallon of water and was able to find baby reservoirs about 2 Liters big to get them started.
By the end of the week they will officially be ready to move to their big buckets and full lighting. For now, AC Infinity 1000w should hold them over.
Finishing off a slow but great week.
Had a bit of a rough time early on trying to manage not only the tent temperature but the res temps as well.
Took to making a DIY tote container to fill with ice (its a bit of labor but I have frozen water bottles i just throw in the water to save money instead of buying ice all the time) needless to say I am more than impressed considering how expensive water chillers can be.
Simple wide and sort of deep tote with a lid, cut out the squares for the res buckets and another small square i hinged back on for an open/close port for ice.
Temps in the tent now stay at around 78F during lights on with an RH varying from 55-70% and down to about 69-70 degrees during lights out with an rh in the upper 60s.
Letting these babies enjoy 2 weeks of 20/4 and then going to dial back to 18/6 to give them longer night time temps to see if there are any major changes.
Cheers to another week!
