I live at 6900 ft in the high desert of western Colorado.
Pretty crazy winds and extremely low humidity.
First time growing let’s see how they do.
May 17
Started to warmup to about 50 degrees during the day so I decided to transplant everybody into there final pots
-in hindsight I started my seeds and moved everything outside too soon maybe by about 3-4 weeks -
Auto orange punch went into 10 gallon fabric pots
Pamir gold and Himalayan gold went into 25 gallon fabric pots.
I’m growing in a 70/30 mix of fox farm happy frog and fox farm coco loco
June 2nd
Been having some very cold nights as low at 25-30.
I put these plants out a tad early, but I have been covering them with buckets at night and they all seem to be doing fine.
I put some gorilla hair mulch on them to help them from freezing.
It is starting to warm up and the days are getting longer.
weather has been around 75-85 with night time temps around 50.
week 6
June 5 a deer or a rabbit topped one of my critical orange punch autos.
Im building a fence.
everything is looking good and starting to grow as the temperatures rise.
week 7
June 14
got a fence built to protect the garden.
started low stress training the pamir gold and Himalayan gold
also finally planted my other two pg and hg, should have planted them in their final pots sooner .
the ones I potted mid may are 3 times bigger.
critical orange punch auto started preflower.
critical orange punch got some fox farm bigbloom and tigerbloom
started feeding with some superthrive organic fish emulsion 4-1-1
and fox farm big bloom
also have made one ewc tea by this point
week 8
June 20
the orange punch auto is in its 2nd week of flower and looking awesome.
fed fox farms tiger bloom to the auto.
ordered roots organics dry amendments as id rather grow organic.
the pamir gold reacted really well to the lst.
all the plants are growing fast
week 9
June 28
auto flower is in week 3/4 of flower and looking pretty good to me. Starting to see some trichomes and orange hairs.
been feeding fox farm big bloom and tiger bloom also top dressed some worm castings.
had some crazy 35 mph winds all the plants got some windburn.
the pamir gold and Himalayan gold are just chugging along doing great. getting noticeably bigger everyday.
they have been fed a topdressing of worm castings and roots organics uprising dry amendments.
along with some elemental
week 10
june 29
topped my smaller Pamir gold to experiment 4 days later it is looking great
also low stress trained my 2nd Himalaya gold
all plants seem to be loving life after being top dressed with the roots organics uprising dry nutrients last week
seems to have really filled out
the critical orange punch auto has maybe two weeks left.
it is getting more trichomes by the day and smells delicious, very citrusy.
hoping the nugs fatten up a bit.
I gave her a nice top dressing of sea bird guano on july 4th.
either way I'm hyped it will be my first plant I've grown.
week 11
July 10
Plants are getting bigger by the day.
Went thru and top dressed some more roots organic uprising foundation and grow, along with a couple tbs of nitro bat guano.
plants really seemed to like it.
I think I see signs of thrips on a couple plants.
I will apply some Spinosad, and go to town to buy some green lacewings.
thanks for checking out my grow
plants have grown almost 6 inches to a foot this last week.
the dog days of summer it has been hot up to 95 degrees and we have been getting monsoon rains every few days.
the plants are thirsty girls
fed everything with another topdressing of the roots organics Uprising
I gave them some bloom nutrients along with the grow seeing as they should start flowering in the next couple weeks.
released some lady bugs to deal with the thrips.
will release more bugs in a day or two.
really hyped on how everything is doing.
the Critical orange punch auto is doing good I think it is about ready to be harvested. it has really thickened up over the past two weeks.
the smell is strong and fruity.
so far all the trichomes are milky, I don't see any amber trichomes yet.
does this critical orange punch auto look like its ready to be harvested?
From what I can see all the trichomes are milky, and have been for about a week.
should I wait until I start seeing some amber
I would say your at the beginning of your harvest window. Maybe a few more days up to a week or 2 if you want more couch lock effect. Would be the more amber trichromes effects. Good luck and enjoy the harvest. Looks good. 🤜🤛🌱
week 13
all plants are doing great. I harvested the critical orange punch auto it is currently hanging up in the dry room
other than that all the plants are getting big almost 5 feet tall including the pot. the second Himalaya gold is a beautiful plant huge broad leaves.
Thinking all the plants should switch to flower in the next couple weeks.
it has been two weeks since I top dressed with roots organics uprising line.
I will most likely go thru and feed a mix of veg and bloom nutrients this week.
I also harvested a 5 gallon bucket worth of worm casting from my worm bin so I will be top dressing with those as well.
Thanks for checking out my grow.
end of week 14
8/5/22
plants are getting huge put on a second outer cage to help support them.
the Himalaya golds are about 5'6" tall and both still in veg mode . one of them looks to be starting preflower.
one of my Pamir golds is 6' tall and doing great. really excited for that one.
the other pamir gold has been flowering for about 2 weeks and is about 4 feet tall.
top dressed everything with some bloom nutrients and elemental.
I've been majorly slacking on updating this. I have not been slacking on my ladies tho!
week 20 and things are going good.
One of my Pamir golds is ripening up and almost ready to come down.
seems as tho she is 2-3 weeks ahead of the rest.
the two Himalaya gold are completely different phenos.
one has shed a shit ton of leaves the other is covered in huge leaves and is going to be a pain to trim.
Weather is getting cold starting to be 70 in the day 45-55 at night.
hopefully they have time to fully finish.
thanks for checking out my grow
september 22
I harvested both Dutch passion Pamir gold plants!
the Himalaya Gold plants are chugging along steadily.
smelling very fruity and delicious.
seems as tho Himalaya gold #2 is a bit behind the other plants.
overall a great strain to grow in high altitudes where you need a plant that grows strong and finishes early.
both plants where out of the ground last weeks of September.
