Hello, a couple of weeks ago I started my first grow ever, but unfortunately due to overwatering she got larvae and died. So this is my second attempt of growing Jack Herer automatic in my attic. The first time I mixed 75 grams of fertilizer in the soil, this time I halved it, so appropx 37.5 grams, because the tips of the two leves that the had were starting to color and point up. It may have been becaute of the over watering, but I can always add fertilizer, but I can't take it away.
I started giving it a whole lot less water and she's looking good for now. I'll also wait 2 to 3 days before watering again and hopefully it will go beter this time.
She's about a week old now. I'm pleased to see the results so far, she's bigger than my first attempt was after 2 weeks. I just hope the long stem isn't a sign of stretching. If she shows up not to be stable enough I'll have to add support, but let's wait for now.
Two weeks after germination. About an hour after I said I hoped not to have to support her last week I had to support her. She was falling over, I think because of some light stretching. I moved her from the west side roof window to the east side roof window on the attic, because she gets direct sunlight till about 2.30 PM there and she seems to like that decision.
She's doing very good now and starting to show more leaves.
I'm very exited to see her growing further. My hopes are up again after the first failed attempt.
She's a bit over three weeks old now and today is day 2 of low stress training. She's responding well to it, I'm very pleased. There are a lot of leaves growing and I can adjust the wires for LST about 2 or 3 times a day (maybe I'm doing it a bit too much).
I give about a liter of water every 3 to 4 days and she gets the nutrients from the ground. For now the nutrients seem enough, but I'll have to check for deficiencies when she'll grow bigger. It's an autoflower of course, so maybe I won't have to give extra via the water. She won't be big and I'm positive there won't be a big yield because she doesn't get any extra artificial light, but I'll be glad if she gives me some flower if and everything will go smooth.
She's 5 weeks old an about a week into flower. She's starting to really grow good and I'm getting more convinced that I will get a smokable amount of flower of her at the end. She's doing her best with the nutrients from the soil and watering every 3 to 4 days. I'm loving it, just watching her grow with a minimal amount of effort, but a lot of care and love.
She's flowering very well. The growing is a little bit slower, but still good. And the flowers are growing good. There are even starting to grow little trichomes on the pistils and sugar leaves. She still isn't showing signs of nutricion deficiencies, so maybe I won't have to give any additional feeding thoughout het entire life, but it's still early to make that conclusion.
