Week 3 of flowering
Hanged light 10~ cm higher due to radical juice being so tall
Think the stretch is nearly done now, wasn't that much due to LST & Topping, im also nearly happy with plant size. Next gro vegetate even more i think. But let's wait and see what the final weight will be here π
Day 17/56 - Defoliated plants, usually do it bloom day 21 but here is a few days earlier
Day 19/58 - Added bud shot
During my last grow someone contacted me from Mars Hydro and now they have remembered me by sending this TSW 2000 Light to me, so i will be reviewing what i have got
Opening the package the light's color is white now instead of the plain reflector, this seems a bit better than before. Also setting up the light was easy, the hardest part being the small metal wires that hang up the light.. If you don't get these right the plant won't hang straight! So be careful and use time to get it right! π
Think this light will improve my grow, and make everything more thrichomier in the end, because the light is more evenly spread now than what the separate TS 1000 did
I have it 25cm from the plants, had the TS 1000 a bit closer.. And here with the added c02 it could be a little closer than what is now
Have grown with the TS 1000 & TS 3000, All around think Mars hydro does a good deal with these Quantum led's, All suite the budget very well while giving good results.
Let's see now what the TSW 2000 Does here, what the end results will be. I think if used from the start of flowering the results would be even better! π But it's in time for the thricome production to really start! Also from today the first bud shots, quite small still they are
Lifted plants so they all have pretty similar canopy level now
π π€£ I see you looking through the window saying faster faster faster...like that old commercial of the person looking through the store window saying open open open π
Amazing work so far friend. Keep it up & make sure their getting proper water consumption you got a great finish ahead of you. Super interested in this cultivar as well now after growing NL for the first time. Loved the flavor of it, I am really curious how it would blend with OG badazz. Great job all around friend!
@@@@GreenGlowes, Glad to help my friend. Thats what LegacyMarketFarm is here for! From start to finish we show exactly how much water we use & exactly what days we watered on and why. It is a series made to be studied & each one will be better than the last and slightly more advanced until we put all the pieces together for everybody
@@@GreenGlowes, I would highly recommend subscribing to our youtube & taking the time to watch through our first installment in our tutorial series which has just finished. It goes into great depth about all these topics. For now though, I will answer here to your question. When we are in VEG & up to DAY 20 of flower, Our roots are growing. One important rule of thumb to live by is, MORE ROOT, MORE FRUIT. The more root zone we give our plants the bigger healthier harvests they can support. To encourage root growth in veg & up to day 20 of flower, We want to be watering anywhere from 500ml to 1 litre per plant & letting them dry out very well between feeds. This encourages our roots to search out for every last bit of water thus encouraging them to grow more. We want to follow either of these cycles :
FEED/FEED/WATER so that means, We feed, Let the plants dry right out, We feed again, Let them dry right out, Then we WATER to interrupt our feed routine & prevent any salt build up in the soil that will throw off our PH balance.
FEED/WATER/FEED Same methodology as above. This is generally better for plants that are not very strong feeders & do not need much nutrients.
Once we get past DAY 20 of flower, Our roots aren't really focused too much on growing any more as the entire plant has now shifted its focus through its genetic programming and now is souly focused on filling its self out with flower. This is when you notice all vertical growth stop as well. Once we are at this point it is important we support our plant's with enough water intake to yield properly for their size. Cannabis plants require 3 gallons in 24hrs to be consumed to produce 1 dry pound of cannabis. That can be 1 plant, 10 plants 100 plants. But they will need to consume 3 gallons in 24hrs at peak consumption in flower, For that plant or those plants to produce 1 dry pound. That equation stays true all the way up. 6 gallons in 24hrs will yield you close to 2 pounds & so on. So when we focus on growing big root zones in veg & early flower we help our plants down the road have an easier time up taking large amounts of water to yield good numbers. We must make sure our DLI is properly dialed in to support a high level of photosynthesis & that our VPD's are on point to optimize our plant's growth and intake every day. If your plants aren't getting enough light to photosynthesize enough to consume the water you are giving them you will end up over watering them. All of this is covered in great detail in both the diary & youtube series of our tutorial's I hope you find them useful & I hope this answer has helped a bit as well!
Hey! Must say I really enjoyed watching your diary!
I wish you the best, I hope all your grows will be amazing with some top shelf buds!
Best regards L.S.T ππ±π¬οΈ
