Week 2, had to murder the runt. Still refused to push off the seed shell so had to be whacked otherwise she'll be stealing valuable rays from the others. The surviving 3 are doing well and just stating to grow there 5 blade leaves 👌 Been so hot outside that it's impossible to get any humidity in the room as fans are working hard. Soon to be transferred to bigger pots with coco and get involved with the easy feeder. 👍

Straight off the bat, you're feeding WAY too much... at 3 weeks, you should only be using 1-1/2 tsp of Canna A and 1-1/2 tsp Canna B per gallon of water!! NOT 8!!!! I haven't checked the other odd conglomerate of nutes you're giving her but where oh where did you get this mixture?! Canna is one of the best nute lines you can get - read their instructions and follow them! When you've got a few grows under your belt, have figured out what works and what doesn't, what needs improvement, then you can go start fiddling around with adding this or adding that... but right now, you are COOKING your plants and stressing them out. Here's my recommendation: FLUSH. You don't indicate what size pot you're using so I'm just going to explain this procedure assuming you're using a 3 gallon pot for each plant. Run NINE gallons of ph'd water through each pot (3x the water as the number of gallons of your pot). Into the last gallon, add .75 Canna A, .75 Canna B, .5 tsp Canna Rhizotonic and .5 tsp Cannazyme. Now let them dry out completely before giving them Ph'd water again. This is a link that will take you directly to detailed instructions about how to use Canna, in what amounts and when... you'll have to convert from milliliters to teaspoons but that's easily done by googling "volume conversion," setting the calculator and punching in the number of ml they're giving you here. And put that other nute stuff on a shelf somewhere for POSSIBLE use in the future. For growing in Coco, you are at the high end of the PH scale.. don't exceed 6.0 and don't fall below 5.5. So good luck - and I KNOW you can do this! I love your enthusiasm and your desire to grow great weed - but sometimes, less is better! :-D

High Braya19, They can be cleaned and reused. In order to reuse a Smart Pot the first thing a gardener should do is let the container dry out completely. The best way to do this is to remove the medium from the container and let the container sit somewhere in low humidity for a day or two. The goal is to get the container itself and any medium, root debris, etc which remains stuck to the fabric to dry out completely. Once dry, the Smart Pot can be rubbed against itself in order to remove as much debris as possible. After removing as much sediment as possible, the Smart Pot can be sterilized. One common way to sterilize a Smart Pot is to put it in the washing machine with a sterilization solution. It is important to choose a sterilization solution that is capable of killing bacteria. Hydrogen peroxide, OxyClean, or a bleach solution all have the capability to sterilize a fabric planting container. Be sure to rinse thoroughly after the sterilization process to ensure all residuals from the sterilization agent are removed. Growers with a large number of Smart Pots may want to utilize a laundry mat for the sterilization process. Please be sure to remove all soil from the Smart Pots before bringing them to the laundry mat. For gardeners with few containers or for those who do not have access to a washing machine, Smart Pots can be soaked in a container of sterilization solution and agitated manually. Drying is a very important part of the cleaning process. Do NOT put Smart Pots in the dryer. Smart Pots should only be hung to dry or fluff dried. Happy Growing! 😋

When is the best time to defoliate when scrogging? I know this question might be a bit vague but just wondered if there was a more suitable timing with the plants cycle.

High Braya19, You can HST her till 2 weeks before switching to flower mode (12/12). Than she still had enough time to recover before she starts flowering. The first defoliation can be done right before you switch her to flower mode. And the second (AND LAST) defolitation can be done 2 weeks after switching to flower mode. After 2 weeks into flower mode she starts to focus on her buds and doesn't make new leaves anymore. So you do not want to cut away to much. You only want to do the defoliation to make sure that you have enough airflow between your plants. And because you want the light to reach all your colas. Happy Growing! 😋

Hey there friend. First off, Congratulations on getting into growing this wonderful healing herb. I myself find it very therapeutic in nature just the growing aspect of it alone. I like to try and welcome all new growers to this website & offer them some general advice to help them off to a solid start. Would you be alright with that ?

I would say a little heavy on the nutrient, I would be using 2.5ml/litre of A+B 10ml/litre is around 4 X recommended
