Hello everyone! an old pack of Zamnesia NL, RQS soil plugs, a bag of all mix potting soil, a bottle of pH Min and Terra bloom were gathering dust in my closet, and my recent move to hydro makes them obsolete for my growtent; no desire to get rid of them, so I'm trying my luck outdoors! I'm aiming for discretion, and a little bonus from my indoor growing; I plan to keep three of them in 3.4L pots. Germination went quite well: 2 came out quickly, and are already showing their little roots under the plug, 2 others grew upside down, one recovered, the other I'm less sure of, and the last one seems to be stuck. You can see the hull, but it doesn't push its way out. lazy girl. 😊 I'm waiting another day for the final selection and repotting in their little pots.

1 dead seed, 1 seed that grew upside down with a poorly developed root, but I have my 3 hoped-for seedlings! The week has been hot and dry, I covered the seedlings to keep a little more moisture until today. They are strong enough to withstand the weather for the next week, up to 37°C in the shade expected. glad to see them in my garden 😊 peace for the Ukrainians and the Russian soldiers 🙏

Not much to say this week, outside it grows at its own pace under the almost daily sun and often 30°C. A little more humidity than last week, which seems to do them good. I'm going to be away soon, I'm going to set up a very basic drip system, hoping that it will be enough 🙏

my 3 outdoor plants are enjoying the intense sunshine again this week! the royal mix is starting to get depleted; I added some guano pearls and watered a lot. 3 days later, the promised "whip effect" proved to be effective: the larger one has grown 14cm in 1 week! For the next 2 weeks, as I have to go away, they will have to be satisfied with a little bit of terra bloom. it's a bit early I know, but I will have a light hand. See you in 2 weeks! ✋

back from 2 weeks of holidays, a lot of apprehension in mind with the DIY self watering... and well, no bad surprise, quite the contrary! the 3 plants are standing, their strecth done during my absence, having gained more than 150% in height! from 20cm to 48cm for the biggest the first pistils also appeared very recently, I will be present for all the flowering; the only small drawback, their stems and branches a little weak, since they did not undergo wind during the stretch, I preferred to keep them under cover. But don't worry, a big bamboo stake and exposure to the wind from today, they will quickly get stronger. They had a big watering at Terra Bloom, curious to see their development this week 👍

since they were a bit frail, I preferred an LST even if it seems useless outdoors; besides strengthening them, it will allow me to better control them and hide them from view in one week, the stems have grown a lot; I double the dose of Terra Bloom, almost to the maximum dose, especially as the royal mix is obviously worn out. one thing to watch out for: the little white spots on the leaves; maybe thrips, spiders, or just a little deficiency, I'll get out the diagnostic tools tomorrow 😏

outside, things go at their own pace with the LST, the plants are under control, only 5cm more this week. they each get 1.5l with Terra Bloom twice a week, they are not greedy yet. the white spots on the leaves are not the work of parasites, I did not find any; having doubled the Terra Bloom this week I notice an improvement, and undoubtedly the rather high temperature of the soil is not foreign; the pots are black and in the sun, I will cover them with white The head sites are well defined, I can't see these Northern Lights turning into a big unobtrusive bush; I have enough to do with that indoors at the moment... 😅 (see "NL 1st autopots")

After weeks of suffocating heat, the climate is returning to normal, with several degrees less day and night and more humidity; we can breathe, and so can the girls. 🙏 a modest gain in size this week, the girls are concentrating on their buds: the resin has appeared, even before the pistils turn brown; they seem to be in a hurry to finish their run! I was hoping for small plants to harvest just after my 2 indoor, to give me a little bonus on my harvest, but apparently they will finish their run first, even though I started them 3 weeks later. these are my girls. 😊 no more worries about the white spots on the leaves; still no pests under the magnifying glass, and a clear improvement with the increase in nutrients and the clearer pot covers. I was hoping for 10g per plant; I'm still cautious but I want to believe that they will give me 50g together 👌

Summer is over... 😎 Daytime temperatures stabilise around 22-23°, at night 15-16°. Less light, more wind and humidity: the girls give everything in the buds & resin : the leaves do not grow any more, but do not start to fade for all that. Senescence should not be too far off ; I am keeping the nutrient programme going until the first signs of senescence.

The week started with heavy storms and big rainfalls... the girls are back in the tent 😊 I took out my 60x60x160 tent, a Samsung 85w bulb LED and transferred my Garpsen bars (70w together) from my big tent. It's a bit light as lighting, but looking at the trichos end of the week (and the intense smell in the tent...) I think it's time to start flushing. They got a final half dose of nutrients at the beginning of the week and a very lil haircut, I'll flush them by tomorrow. Can't wait to see what they produce; I'd say between 35 and 45 together, hoping for a better surprise 🙏

after only 10 1/2 weeks, ready for harvesting 👌 they could have matured for another 1 or 2 weeks but I would like to have a high effect here as well, my insides ones will give me the stone. result for the 3 girls in 3 litre pots: 153g wet. Dry result in 10 days, and surely a first impatient smoke test 😏 Even if they didn't suffer from pest attacks, it was impossible to avoid the little ones and their eggs from sticking to the leaves and buds; I did a buds washing to get rid of them.
