averagish height around 47 inches, tallest are closer to 5 feet. bottom branches are 3 to 4 feet, pruned to the point of lollipopping? i left the leaves for balance and stress distribution in the wind. she is shedding a few on her own now as well, i will let her fully absorb, probably fall naturally unless an issue is spotted.

does vanilla frosting typically not purple up, there is almost none on the entire plant, i was understanding the vegetative growth would gradually turn purple as phosphorous uptake increased?

It will change colours in the cold weather once its ready to harvest. The phoenotype will dictate if it will purple up. example. fastbuds blackberry is aorund 50/50 purple vs green. however the Dinafem Dinamed CBD Kush auto has always been purple for me. All boils down to how well the seeds are locked into their desired traits from the breeding practise. Given most places do not breed the plants are just while label resellers there is little control. Good Luck!

in your diary i see white hairs in other pictures... so it is at least partly female female. still keep an eye on her... stuff doesn't happen overnight so don't need to be obsessive to catch it, just diligent. nanners are annoying, and sac are bad.

i have been decreasing the nitrogen, starting to think i may need a sharper decline as the plant moves into flower?

Wait until there are small budlets or tufts of pistils first, cannabis still needs adequate nitrogen in early flower.

with pistils all the way up and down the plant, the nitrogen in my blooming nutrients should be sufficient now?

You want to go light on nitrogen, but maintain some it has the micronutrients as well plant needs.

do people feed minimal nitrogen over the flowering period or spike a few times to instigate the final fractal of branches?

I feed nitrogen from seed to harvest. I also grow in soil with dry amendments "gaia green" vs liquid feed, but the plant still uses nitrogen in its flowering stage 100%. Its a myth that it does not use it. Granted to much nitrogen in some plants can cause them to not produce as many flowers or any at all and focus on leaf growth. I don't feel cannabis is like this but to much can hurt your yields as it will lock out other nutrients and it can make the feeding solution to strong in terms of EC/PPM. guessing you mean fractal of branches as in bushing out or creating more growth points. Nitrogen will not affect this as much as training techniques do or genetics. I would not, just let it be as is if your new to growing. My lower buds are airy and less bag appeal but they still get me high. It's an option, for sure. If they are finished and all the trichomes on the top buds are at least cloudy, snip them off and start drying them. I have a friend that does this and his plants handle it just fine. He snips any buds when they are finished and lets the others keep going until perfect, until his plant is harvested. I hope this helps.

High Loganchan, You can cut the lowest 30% from your plants... You want the plant to focus her energy on the big fat buds on top of the plant. Happy Growing! 😋

High loganchan, NO PLEASE DO NOT CUT!!! They will still fatten up and your plants look beautiful. I can see from the leaves that this is a sativa strain. The buds stay smaller and growing takes longer. So be patient with your plant and she will give you big, fat and juicy buds as a reward in return! Happy Growing! 😋

Are you asking if you should cut this ONE branch? I certainly wouldn't... unless they're shading other bud sites that are bigger and better... let them go to their full potential - you don't know what that will be! Good luck!
