What mOuse said. It all comes down to genetics and hopefully that best pheno of the bunch were bred. Alot of terrible genetics out there so always buy from good breeders.

loganchan turned out she was looking for calcium claiming back those leaves, a heavy dose in a 5 gallon flush and she doubled the trichomes growing on leaves particularly.
on topped plants outdoors is it generally advised to cut the apical flowers? they are the last the grow generally and are considerably smaller than the flowers several inches down the main stems.
how many racemes? do people strive for? 2...3.

It's an option, for sure. If they are finished and all the trichomes on the top buds are at least cloudy, snip them off and start drying them. I have a friend that does this and his plants handle it just fine. He snips any buds when they are finished and lets the others keep going until perfect, until his plant is harvested.

loganchan cal/mag has been added to the daily feeding schedule, even full clouds all day i am still giving it some. at night.
the secondary flower set has started, still wondering if 3 or 4 is the general goal with outdoor sativa's.
also there is a kola that is under performing at the apical flowers, but slightly better a few inches down. do people cut these flowers away? if yes, do you leave the leaves or cut the stem entirely off below the last underperforming flower?

NO PLEASE DO NOT CUT!!!
They will still fatten up and your plants look beautiful. I can see from the leaves that this is a sativa strain. The buds stay smaller and growing takes longer. So be patient with your plant and she will give you big, fat and juicy buds as a reward in return!

It is growing just fine, maybe if you would give some nutrient would help, and NO!!! Do not cut yet far too early it looks like a week 5 or even 4 into flower... let it grow!!
Are you asking if you should cut this ONE branch? I certainly wouldn't... unless they're shading other bud sites that are bigger and better... let them go to their full potential - you don't know what that will be!

strong lemon, hints of anise.
it hits like a truck, helps me sleep which is nice. the larger buds on the counter are 6 to 11 grams, smaller ones 2 to 4.
total yield was 10.5 ounces of flower, 4.5 ounces of trim and very loose flowers. i did not weigh the flowers wet.

loganchan had a couple high stress events, one late in flower.
