Hi! My first grow. Any tips or help would be appreciated :) I started the seeds in a glass of water and let them sit overnight. I than moved it into a paper towel inside of a zip lock back and put it on top of my computer. A day later they had a tap root. Now I planted them inside the coco perlite, but I’m trying one in a jiffy tray until they sprout. I didn’t give them any nutrients yet, I will wait for them to sprout. Trying to keep temp high (25sh) and humidity above 70% or more I don’t even know if the coco needed to be pre moistened, so I watered it until I had run off and then put the seeds in. I am watering the seeds a little bit every day until it sprouts. 19L fabric pots ACinfinity T4 Nutrifield Coco pearl 70/30 Helios 480X LED light Standard heater and Vicks vaporiser Clip on fan x1 (might get another one) 07/12/22 tap root shows and so I plant it in moistened coco 07/14/22 create the diary and hook up the temp controller plus the humidifier 07/15/22 they sprouted. The one in the jiffy pellet looks bigger, but I think I buried the ones in coco a little too deep!

Hi!! I am doing my first ever grow. When should I introduce nutrients to my plants in coco? They have just sprouted and I was only giving them some water with H2O2 at a PH of 6.2. For a seedling, do I need to water until I get runoff? Thank you!

I grow in coco all the time. 5.8 ph in vegging. First nutrition day 7 from sprout. Coco stays wet all the time. It is hydro in a potter. You will need cal mag. Heavy irrigation. Lots of run off. Your ideal ph in vegging going in in 5.8 coming out in run off 5.8. Overwatering is not a issue since coco and perlite retain a lot of air. Just don't let it sit in run off

Looking good, but I need to move the jiffy plant into a permanent container as her roots are starting to pop out. I will try tomato soil for her whilst the other two are in coco! 23/07/22 My rabbit ate one of my plants when I was taking it out to repot in a supersoil mix

End of week 1 veg. Let the plant grow by itself. Now doing LST. End of week 2: both girls are looking good!! Jiffy is doing better and coco 1 had red coloured stems so I think she got stunted somehow. Maybe I didn’t feed her nutrients early enough or jiffy is just a super plant!!

Week 3!!! Tied down the main branch. Giving them more nutrients 6ml per l I also increased the light intensity by 10% so I think I’m at 50% now My nutrients 1 x Adam: Base nutrient to use from start to finish | NPK: 3 - 0 - 1 1 x Eve: Base nutrient to use from start to finish | NPK: 0 - 4 - 3 1 x Lush: Veg stage additive | NPK: 5 - 0 - 0.5 1 x Rapture: Early Bloom / Flowering stage additive | NPK: 0.7 - 3 - 3 1 x Heavenly Harvest: Additive to enhance Flowering before harvest | NPK: 0 - 7 - 6 I am using 2ml /l Adam and Eve and 1ml / l lush. I feed the girls everyday, watering the nutrient water until I get 15% runoff. Hopefully that’s okay. Jiffy girl has got really big and seems healthy, but coco is a runt I think… it’s half the size of jiffy.

I’ve run into an issue on one of my plants. It seems to be a runt, growing slower than my other. It had red stems since emerging from a seedling, but grew normally albeit slower than my other (growing like a monster) now I’ve noticed burnt tips) nutrient burn?? How to fix? Ty :)

@Caukygrow Mate you honestly have little to worry about they are a pretty good size for their age and they are looking healthy as well the leaves that have the slight yellowing happening is a magnesium deficiency just starting to show itself so now is the best time to fix that with a cal/mag additive ph'd to between 5.8-6.3 I notice you haven't done any sort of training with these plants which is just fine but maybe for future grows have a look into some of the methods others use here like LST or HST which when done correctly can boost potential yields They will be starting to take off soon as they begin flowering . Omce that happens they will be very hungry for potassium and phosphorus as well as the other micro nutrients so a bloom based fertilizer will be needed .

Wow, coming along. The girls are really getting smelly. I actually added a second carbon filter on the exhaust & have invested in a dehumidifier, keeping the humidity levels at 50% for the rest of the grow. It is running 24/7 draining into a bucket outside of the tent. I will use the water from the dehumidifier to feed my girls. I also managed to get some cal mag to help my burnt edges. Other things I have changed for this week as we are preflowering is switching the schedule from 24 hours of light to 18/6. I think this has helped the plants get some much needed rest after vegging. 12th of August. I think I can see it starting to flower!! * Minor defoliation to remove leaves that are damaged from watering at the bottom of the plant 16/08/22 Grow question ADAM BASE A - NPK 3-0-1 (3 ml/l) EVE BASE B - NPK 0-4-3 (3 ml/l) LUSH - NPK 5-0-0.5 (1 ml/l) RAPTURE - NPK 0.7-3-3 (1.5 ml/l) Herbi Cal mag NPK: 4 – 0 – 0 (1.8ml/l) 1L ADAM & EVE: Your base Nutrient, used from start to finish. 1L LUSH: Veg stage focused nutrient additive. 1L Rapture: Applied in early Bloom/Flowering. I water around 1.5 liters of mixed water PH'd to 5.8 to each plant, giving me about 20-30% run off. Am I overwatering my plants? Update! 17/08/22 I flushed the plants with 4 liters of water each using half the nutrients I was using before 13ml to 9l Adam 13ml to 9l Eve 6ml to 9l Lush 8ml to 9l Cal mag Left out the bloom - I'll add it again for the next feed. The canoeing I had on the smaller plant already seems less intense - hopefully see some good changes as we head into the next week for flowering. Today I will do a more invasive defoliation on the big plant, removing all of the fan leaves on the bottom - stay tuned for week 5 starting tomorrow. A few more weeks and hopefully we get some nice juicy buds!!!

I think they are getting fed to much and this is a result of that. I would invest in a TDS pen asap and start monitoring your ec/ppm of your feeding solution and runoff, this will give you a solid indicator of whats happening in the pot and how to correct a lot of issues. burnt tips are signs of overfeeding but on the edges are issues with potassium. lime green new growth could be something else but not the end of the world. Autos also like to feed less then photoperiods. I like referencing this web page for auto feeding guides. https://www.autoflower.net/forums/threads/med-man-method-feeding-chart-ppm-ec.47856/ its a good basic guide and you can tweak it from what your plants need. Week 6, into flowering now for both girls!! Cut back the nutrients as I was giving way to much. Right now they are looking good, healthier than before. The lime tips are not extending nor is the crazy burns on the smaller plant. Lesson learned. My big girl is getting massive and is reaching out over the small girl. Trying to keep them seperated. It will be time for a net soon to flatten the canopy a bit. 19/08/22 struggling a little with heat after turning the lights to 70% temps average 28 c lights on, and my heater keeps temps at 24c lights off Humidity as well is in the mid 50s. Trying to get it down to the 40s

I’ve tried everything for my second plant. Honestly just think it’s a runt. Will let it grow as much as it can and turn its buds into hash or something. I’m using 2ml Adam and Eve .6ml/L Lush .6ml/L 2ml/L rapture And a splash of H203 Main plant is looking excellent and very healthy. My other one is all burnt up, dry leaves and looks terrible. I’ve given up on it and will just let it do it’s own thing. Looks like I will get a very nice harvest off of just the one plant and it’s all for me. Will keep me happy while I grow another plant. My lights are 80% now Temps 24 at night and 28 with lights on Humidity 45-50%

Hi, My second girl has not been doing well. I made adjustments as recommended in my previous questions and my main plant has just taken off. Both were planted at the same. Is it worth continuing with this plant? It’s barely flowering whereas my other one looks amazing!

I'm so sorry to say I don't believe she will ever produce anything for you... autoflowers are very finicky and stress can interrupt their pre-programmed life cycle and while SOME can recover, this one obviously has not and probably will not. Personally, I would not try... I'm so sorry! But your other plant looks amazing - SHE is going to be a rock star! Good luck the rest of the way with her!

Let’s pray that there is no more issues, but I think I’m getting the hang of it! Lights are 90% I’ll increase to 100% at the end of the week for the rest of the grow! Adding heavenly harvest to fatten up the buds - I am happy with the amount of bud sites on my girl. Lights are 100% power. They are getting a little sunburnt, but I think it’s okay.

I'm with everyone else here... she looks amazing (I knew she would be!) and I think you've probably got about 3 weeks left - but DO get yourself a jeweler's loupe or a microscope to get in close to the trichs and watch THEIR development... you'll want to see about 10-20% of them turning amber before you chop. Good luck!

Almost finished - seeing the hairs darken and the leaves turning yellow. I think I will start the flush next week. Edit 21st September - I’ve started flushing using plain water PHd to 6.0 Planning to harvest next week Wednesday or Thursday and am going to wet trim and let dry! Buds are looking great! Although the top buds are more “done” than the bottom

I harvested 226 grams of dried and trimmed bud plus a bunch of trim and popcorn buds that I didn’t weigh. Definitely had it's ups and downs with my pet rabbit eating one of my plants in the first few weeks :( One of my girls also didn't make it to the end, I must of overfed her at one point and the stress was too much. This amount of buds though will keep me and my friends happy for a long time though! Thank you to all those that helped with making my first grow a success! I certainly learned a lot & can't wait to do it all again - for now I've been enjoying smoking the buds and making edibles :D It took me a few hours to trim all the buds. I didn't measure the wet weight of the plant as I hung the whole thing up to dry as soon as the lights came off. The roots were plentiful and healthy. Even my girlfriend tried smoking with me for the first time ever and she loved it!!!
