Adding heavenly harvest to fatten up the buds - I am happy with the amount of bud sites on my girl. Lights are 100% power. They are getting a little sunburnt, but I think itā€™s okay.

Grow Questions

Hi!! I am doing my first ever grow. When should I introduce nutrients to my plants in coco? They have just sprouted and I was only giving them some water with H2O2 at a PH of 6.2. For a seedling, do I need to water until I get runoff? Thank you!

I grow in coco all the time. 5.8 ph in vegging. First nutrition day 7 from sprout. Coco stays wet all the time. It is hydro in a potter. You will need cal mag. Heavy irrigation. Lots of run off. Your ideal ph in vegging going in in 5.8 coming out in run off 5.8. Overwatering is not a issue since coco and perlite retain a lot of air. Just don't let it sit in run off

Iā€™ve run into an issue on one of my plants. It seems to be a runt, growing slower than my other. It had red stems since emerging from a seedling, but grew normally albeit slower than my other (growing like a monster) now Iā€™ve noticed burnt tips) nutrient burn?? How to fix? Ty :)

@Caukygrow Mate you honestly have little to worry about they are a pretty good size for their age and they are looking healthy as well the leaves that have the slight yellowing happening is a magnesium deficiency just starting to show itself so now is the best time to fix that with a cal/mag additive ph'd to between 5.8-6.3 I notice you haven't done any sort of training with these plants which is just fine but maybe for future grows have a look into some of the methods others use here like LST or HST which when done correctly can boost potential yields They will be starting to take off soon as they begin flowering . Omce that happens they will be very hungry for potassium and phosphorus as well as the other micro nutrients so a bloom based fertilizer will be needed .

Hi, Iā€™m still having issues with my plants (mostly the smaller one) canoeing leaves, burnt looking tips and most recently mine green tips. I feed / water every day, have my light on 60% I introduced calmag and recently a bloom. Please see my diary for the nutrients Iā€™m adding

I think they are getting fed to much and this is a result of that. I would invest in a TDS pen asap and start monitoring your ec/ppm of your feeding solution and runoff, this will give you a solid indicator of whats happening in the pot and how to correct a lot of issues. burnt tips are signs of overfeeding but on the edges are issues with potassium. lime green new growth could be something else but not the end of the world. Autos also like to feed less then photoperiods. I like referencing this web page for auto feeding guides. https://www.autoflower.net/forums/threads/med-man-method-feeding-chart-ppm-ec.47856/ its a good basic guide and you can tweak it from what your plants need. Hi, My second girl has not been doing well. I made adjustments as recommended in my previous questions and my main plant has just taken off. Both were planted at the same. Is it worth continuing with this plant? Itā€™s barely flowering whereas my other one looks amazing!

I'm so sorry to say I don't believe she will ever produce anything for you... autoflowers are very finicky and stress can interrupt their pre-programmed life cycle and while SOME can recover, this one obviously has not and probably will not. Personally, I would not try... I'm so sorry! But your other plant looks amazing - SHE is going to be a rock star! Good luck the rest of the way with her!

Hi is my buds foxtailing? Week 4 of flower. How long do they look like they need more? I have my light on 100% power. Or are they still to immature? They feel dense when I touch them.

I'm with everyone else here... she looks amazing (I knew she would be!) and I think you've probably got about 3 weeks left - but DO get yourself a jeweler's loupe or a microscope to get in close to the trichs and watch THEIR development... you'll want to see about 10-20% of them turning amber before you chop. Good luck!

Hey there now you have 6 months to reflect, do you have any comments on your grow? I am about to do the exact same setup... Light, Goliath Nuts, and even the same seeds :D So would just love to hear your thoughts on the nuts and the grow, 6 months on.. I'm think maybe you overwatered?? Thanks in advance
Caukygrow
Caukygrow
@WairoaJames, Wow! Thatā€™s awesome youā€™ve got the same setup! I think at the beginning I definitely overwatered and overfed. By week 5 I got the hang of it, but for one of my plants it was the point of no return. Next time I grow I wouldnā€™t feed as much as I did and let the plant tell me what it needs instead of throwing everything at it and nutrient locking (which I think may of happened) Following your grow! Keen to see how it goes

Nice start bro may i suggest you could do one full coco n do another 60/40 organic soil coco mix with a cheap good organic dry amendment to pot up with telling you wont go back to SALTS again organic living soil you feed the soil and the microbes and they feed the plant no need to ph as good organic soil buffers itself and its proven real organic flower contains more cannabinoids and is real medicine the high its totaly different for a start its more pure not a chemical high from all pgrs in most SALTS they dont put it on back of bottles but there loaded with artificial growth hormones that cause cancer tumours and other stuff keep it up bro check ecothrive website out great organic products

@smoker420, thank you! I was going to do that with my jiffy pot plant, but when I took it out the tent to repot, my pet rabbit ran over and ate it. So Iā€™ve only got two plants left :(

you watered them every day with 600ml?

@Chupapi, to begin with yes! Iā€™m not sure if that was perhaps too much- I was probably a bit over zealous with the nutrients!
