purplethumb Popping some freebies, (Strawberry Nuggets x Skywalker) x Samsquanch. Freebies came with my order of CDLC direct from Mephisto, a journal I just wrapped up btw. Excited to see what this cross has to offer. Cheers.

purplethumb Synthetic grow, but topped with a little Dr. Earth Kelp Meal for some organics, microbes, and mycorrhiza. Hard to beat what Dr. Earth has to offer.
purplethumb 6/29 - 7/5, days 29 through 35.
Pre-pistils coming out on the alpha, beta close behind. Looks like we'll be flowering next week.
June 28, QB96 lights set to 100w each for a total of 200w at the wall. Hanging height is 12".
July 4, lights set to 110w each.
NOTE:
Jack's Nutrients are measured in grams per gallon, not ml/gal. It's close, but I'm definitely measuring my nutes by weight not volume. Everything else is measured by volume.

NOTE:
Jack's Nutrients is measured in weight by volume. In this case g/gal, closely equivalent to ml/gal by volume.

Reducing my calcium nitrate dose from 2.4g/gal to 1.8g/gal (3/4 dose).
Increasing pH for the flowering stage. Aiming for a pH solution of 6.0, allowing it to drift up naturally to 6.4 before intervening if needed. My reservoir is usually empty by the time I hit a pH of 6.4, so I just start a new batch and aim for 6.0 again.
Really love this freebie cross. It's a shame it's not on the catalog yet -- just a tester for now. The Strawberry Nug genes really stand out, giving off strong strawberry notes. If I hadn't grown it, I would have guessed someone laced it with artificial strawberry extract XD The effects are good, a balance between sativa and indica effects. I'd give it a 40/60 profile, leaning on the sativa side. Cheers. 👊

Flushed on day 88. Lights out on day 90. Chopped on day 91.
That looks really good :-)
If the nuggs are frosty on the inside too, then its the best.
I am using Masteblend 4 - 18 - 38 with Calcium Nitrate and Magnesium Sulphate for the first time.
How is your experience using Masterblend to grow weed so far?
Do you have any advice?
