Plants are still pretty small after 2 weeks. Still to small to start up my autopot system, probably another week to 10 days before I'll be able to do that. I'm excited to see how they do in the autopot system as every time I've done autos so far it's been outside or handwatered in a small tent with 1 tomany plants lol. The last fast bud plant I did was Mimosa Cake and I only got like 13" tall but it was stacked from top to bottom and the buds were amazing so hopefully this plant well be just as good.
Not going to do any training with these plants, just going to let them grow natural and do maybe a bit of leaf strip after it starts to flower and thats it.
Well that's all for now. Happy growing everyone!!!
Autopot system is running and the plants are drinking up the water fast. In the 3 days it's been running these two little guys have drank up 10L. At that rate it would take these two plants 15 days to drink up the 50L tank I have for them. Now obviously when they get bigger they well be drinking up a lot more water so hopefully I'll be able to get atleast 7 days. I still need to get a few things for the tank like a water pump and a monitor, I'm using a Ph pen and EC pen and thats annoying as hell lol. I like being able to just walk and I know what everything is at just at a glance. I know first world problems rite.
I wasn't planning on training these plants at all but last minute decided to do some FIMing. Both plants responded great to it and I was able to donit twice this week. Hopefully I'll be able to get a nice even canopy.
Now flower time, ive noticed the handful of times I've done autos, that flowering starts about five weeks after germinating. With that I should have about another two weeks of veg before she starts to flower. I'll be watching them closely for the signs that it's flower time, ive got high hopes for these plants.
Well that's all for now, happy growing!!!
Holy crap has it been hot this last week. We have been hitting temperatures of 35-38c where I live and that has been causing some major problems for the grow room. First the temperature in the room bearly drops below 27c, second because it's getting so hot my tanks have been getting warm so I've been putting bottles full of ice into the water to try and cool it down. Luckily the warmest it's gotten is 25c before I notice. I'd add a ac to the room but unfortunately it's to small.
So as you can see one plant is doing a lot better then the other. Tho just in size, if I was to cut all the leaves off the amount of branchs on the smaller one is almost double what the bigger plant has. I'm starting to see some early bud signs, I'm guessing another week and they well be in flower. Both plants are showing a bit of heat stress. Hopefully this heat wave well be over before they start to flower.
Well that's all for now, happy growing everyone!!
Well we're in flower!!!! Look to be roughly a week in maybe more. Looks like the one that's a bit further along possibly has a bit of heat stress going on. Not surprising seeing as we have had crazy heat the last few weeks. Up to two days ago been struggling to keep the tents below 30c. The only other thing it could be is that my Ph has been off. Last week I noticed it had jumped up to 7.2 over night for absolutely no reason, had it rite at 6 like always. Then i noticed that it had jumped up again a bit. Today i went and looked and it had dropped all the way down to 5.5...... wtf. So i decided to test my Ph pen to see how accurate it actually is. My other tank has a full monitor system in it so I put the pen in the water there and noticed that my pen was reading almost .5 lower then my monitor. Cleaned it off and tried again and it was now reading .3 above my monitor now.... so clearly my Ph pen is hooped.... yay lol. With all the issues ive had this far im curious at how well this grow well end up being and itll be interesting to see how long it takes them to finish up. I'm guess about 6 more weeks, but we'll see.
Happy growing everyone!!!
Well I'm really happy I have this set up on its own tank. Left for 7 days and came home to find the 100L tank that feeds my 2x3 and 4x4 tents was closed and the plants didn't get water.... luckily they well survive but being the second week of flower I'm sure my end results well be effected.
Both plants showed great growth while I was gone and have great stacking going on. I'm hoping to get a good yeild with these plants amd as of rite now is looking like one of my better auto grows.
I'm thinking about turning the light down to 14 hours just to help cut down on some of the heat, tents on 18 hours as apposed to 12 like the other two. But we'll see, plants are growing fast so I'm hoping they well be done in a few more weeks because I think there closer to week 3 or even 4 then they are week 2. But we'll see, I could be wrong.
Anyways happy growing everyone!!!
This auto grow is going 100x better then my last one lol. That Mimosa cake got a ruff deal because the Jake herer plant decided to over run my tent and the Mimosa Cake was a nice smoke then the Jack herer.... Definitely going to give that Mimosa cake a second go.
Anyways this Forbidden Runtz strain smells great so far and has a great amount of stacking and bud clusters. I'm hoping to have a great yeild from the two plants. I might add a second autopot unit next grow and try 3 plants.
Hoping the temperature well start to get a bit better in the next week or so. This temp issue is driving me crazy lol
Well that's all for now so happy growing everyone!!!
So next to a bit of heat..... again lol this was a decent week plants both had a bit of growth and a massive increase in bud size and smell. Went from almost no smell to unbelievable aroma from both plants. I do find that the flowering season for autos feels shorter then feminized seeds. So this next week we'll be the last before I start flushing. Then it'll just be two more weeks then it's harvest time!!!! Definitely looking forward to it.
That's all for now so happy growing everyone!!!
Started flushing the plants about 4 days ago. Going to do a good solid 2 week flush for both plants, I want them clean by the time I harvest. The buds are starting to feel nice and dense, going to be some great smoke by the looks of it. Has a amazing sweet smell to it.
Well that's all for now so happy growing everyone!!!
We are approaching zero hour here now. 11 days into flushing and the plants arenstarting to have that done look to them. The trenchomes are about 10% amber 90% milky so it's a little less then I usually like to have my plants at but I didn't want to push it to much with them. Going to be giving them another 3 to 7 days more of flushing and then chop them down. I'm really excited to see just how well these plants do as the last autos I did from fast buds (Mimosa Cake) tasted and smelled amazing but found I had a very mellow high.
Well that's all for now, happy growing everyone!!!
So one plant grow great, has nice dense buds and looks amazing. The other one has some foxtail going on. Probably from the insane amount of heat we have had, also wishing had waited one more week before I started to flush, ill keep that in mind this next round. The smoke tasted great and give a nice mellow high that helped with relaxing after a long day at work.
Plants have a great smell and dense buds. Also the flush was quick, started getting yellow fan leaves after just a few days. This next go around I'm going to let them flower a extra week and also add one extra plant to the mix, want to try and fill the tent up as much as possible.
Hey there,
Thanks a bunch for growing our genetics, and sharing this diary with us :)
We hope that it was a nice experience, and that you enjoy the harvest!
Have a good one
@Fast_Buds, honestly this is one of the nicest autos I've done. Super excited to try it out as well as the purple Lemonade I have lined up for the next grow.
