21 Days from seed. Topped at day 19 and moved her under the 315W cmh. Recovered nicely. LST is right around the corner.

Day 28 from seed. So far so good. Transplanted 3 days ago into the final 7 gal smart pot, after noticing roots already popping out of the pot. She took it like a champ with a good feeding of MicrobeLife Photosynthesis Plus and Nourish-L. Looking forward to LST her the rest of week 5 and if she stays a bit bushy I may add a 6th week of veg on before the big flip. At the beginning of the fourth week she took a slight yellow hue so I've been feeding smaller waterings but upped them to once a day at light on. Color turned around within two days so we'll see if she's a drinker.

Fifth and final week of veg has come to a close. 12/12 light cycle began today. The branch I snapped has mended but is now far behind the rest of the plant. I was going to just clone it but I've never mended a completely severed branch before so this is more an experiment and learning experience. I'm mostly curious to see if the branch will still produce bud worthy of keeping it or if its better to just make it into a clone. I'm sure in the future I'll make the same mistake again and when I do I want to know what my best option will be from personal experience.

First week of bloom has come to an end. The previously snapped branch has completely mended but it's size is greatly diminished, however, healthy and still viable. Pistils are now becoming visible. She's easily capable of drinking a gallon of water per day. Right now I'm feeding nutes on the first two days and on the plain water days I'm giving her MicrobeLife Photosynthesis Plus and Nourish-L. I've taken 5 clones off of her this week, all are alive and kicking so far but I always stress out about cloning because I've been very hit and miss with it. We'll see how I do.

End of the second week of flower and she's right on course. Might gradually thin her out a bit this week.

At the end of the 8th week she's filling out bud sites nicely. Noticed just the tiniest amount of nute burn on the tips of a few leaves, Bumping up the plain water on every third watering for now on. Thinned out the lower third a bit. I'll give it one last pruning in a week and from there its all on her.

Nine down, a few to go! Basically unchanged, putting on some bud weight now slowly. After snapping that main branch I've been hesitant to really bend her the way I envisions only because its the only plant Im working with right now so she's kinda doing her own thing. Next week I'll start the finishing nute schedule until flush.

Week 10 in the books. Going to boost the finishing nutes over the 11th week and prep for the big flush. So far this strain has been cruise control. Noticed some odd coloration on some leaves, think I backed off the cal-mag too early but its spotty at best so not too worried at this point. She bulked up slightly this week but I'm now thinking that a single 315W CMH light just doesn't have the oomph to really stack weight. Think the next grow will go 315w from 1-6 weeks then finish out under the 1000w hps.

Week 11 in the bag, Day and night temps have been within 5 degrees or less and the humidity hasn't gone above 53%. I think week 12 will be a ripening week followed by a week of flushing and I should be closing this out at the end of the 13 week.

Tapered off the nutes to 0 by the end of the 12th week. Flushing for the next 7-10 days. Trichs are starting to cloud with 5% starting to amber slightly. Not a real strong odor overall but it does smell delicious. Won't be long now.

Week 13. Harvest

Happy Harvest Day!

After harvest report: Nirvana Blue Dream was pretty much a cruise control grow. The only real problem was my heavy hand when I snapped one of the main two branches completely off. I reattached it with masking tape and splinted it with a small piece of wood and sure enough it healed and produced a nice bud. It was far behind its twin but it did grow and it did flower. Might have cost me a half ounce or more. After the break I was very apprehensive to train and sculpt this plant the way I envisioned mostly because it was the only plant I had going at the time so I figured not to mess with it too much more. I was also somewhat skeptical of the single 315w light. Although operating cost was very low and heat was never an issue I'd still love to know what kind of bud weight I lost compared to a 1000w HPS. My next grow Im going to do 4-5 weeks veg + 1 week of bloom under the 315w then finish blooming with a 1000w HPS. If I get bud weight close to a 315w or a 630w then I'll be done with HPS, I just couldn't believe how I could keep a small space in the 70s with just a 6" exhaust fan.

All in all decent grow, good seed, good robust plant, easy to manage, stretch was very manageable and the plant was easy going on nutes. This is an excellent strain for new growers.

Interesting experiment coming up about CMH, I'm using one 315W too. I can't really consider 600W hps because the lamp distance of 60cm is annoying, and it's probably too hot to handle in my room. I may add some COB LED light, but I am very happy with the CMH bud. Looks similar to this one in structure (From my Critical XXL grow)

Hey bro! Awesome grow! I’m running in the Fastbuds iPhone contest , if you could stop by my 2xGSC-COCO journal and leave a comment I’d really appreciate it! Goodluck!

From the leaf damage on week 8 - it looks reminiscent of either a leafhopper (strip damage), or spider mites (pinprick damage). I just finished the same strain and they were susceptible to the same thing, esp the spider mites. Just keeping them in check is a chore (complete removal seems almost impossible), but it doesn't affect yield or degrade performance. Check the undersides of the leaves. I hold mine by the stem and rotate them 180. If you do find them, they'll look like dots - adults are easy enough to kill just by gently smearing the bottom side of the leaf, the eggs can be harder depending on how many there are. Sometimes I'd just pinch the whole leaf. Leafhoppers hide on the stems in the middle of the plant and will come out to eat at night.

Thanks for the info. I'll check them out tonight under a jewler's loop. But it seems to have more or less gone away, I haven't found any leaves over the past week or so that has similar damage.
the end.
