she needs some nutrients desperately. needs a good watering too, but she's still coming along well i think. adding more compost because i dont want to overcorrect the deficiency. definitely have to clear the ground around her, but the mint around it shades the soil around the base so im leaving those. 7/24 - gave her a good watering and some bio bloom just to get some guaranteed essentials. the veggies around it are definitely hogging the nutrients but whatever, it be like that. upper leaves are kind of folded upwards, i imagine because of the heat (it was like this before giving any nutrients). gave her a neem oil mist bath to get rid of all the pests that are adding to the problem.

Nice outdoor grow, how are you doing with bugs. I have been pretty lucky so far. If they are getting to tall try tying down the main. Do it a hour after watering. Good luck

@Pjm70, As of now, absolutely no infestations - aphids seem to be steering clear. definitely have some stuff munching, but nothing bad. found a couple of mites today and some gnats but that is to be expected. Thanks for the advice too, i've been debating tying the tops

Good luck. I’ve been wanting to try growing a Durban Poison but haven’t had a chance yet. Autos are easier for outdoor in most places, but this is a good choice for an outdoor plant. Cheers.

@Northern_Ent, she's an absolute trooper. I chose durban specifically to grow outdoors because it's supposed to be extremely resilient and low maintenance - perfect for my first outdoor grow. Hope she starts flowering soon, and is as mold resistant as advertised. I'm actually surprised at how few diaries there are for durban

Very on the edge with the outdoor grows this year , I have a plant going through similar issue now - no pistil change and still 3 weeks left , hope it gives you the sun she requires!

@musashi_miyamoto, it is hard !! I never check the crystal I just go by smell and taste . I like to pick small bud earlie to see what it’s like then repeat until desired trait is found . Good luck with the amber

@CroNicGman, yeah at this point I’m checking trichomes. Definitely learned a lot for my next grow season - no more open soil for photos, too hard to manage, especial with a 2m plant
