Minor leaf miner activity, but dont feel like treating it with neem this late. i just remove those leaves or the infected finger. such a resilient plant. the hailstorm definitely did some damage but she healed nicely. definitely going to have a lot of popcorn nugs but whatever, the yield should still be great barring mold/rot/mildew. wish she'd finish in about 2 weeks because the nights are getting colder and humidity/rain will only increase from here, but she has at least 3 weeks left - pistils arent even turning brown yet. no signs of bud rot, had a scare last week but it was just a tiny feather
Nice outdoor grow, how are you doing with bugs. I have been pretty lucky so far. If they are getting to tall try tying down the main. Do it a hour after watering. Good luck
@Pjm70, As of now, absolutely no infestations - aphids seem to be steering clear. definitely have some stuff munching, but nothing bad. found a couple of mites today and some gnats but that is to be expected.
Thanks for the advice too, i've been debating tying the tops
Good luck. I’ve been wanting to try growing a Durban Poison but haven’t had a chance yet. Autos are easier for outdoor in most places, but this is a good choice for an outdoor plant. Cheers.
@Northern_Ent, she's an absolute trooper. I chose durban specifically to grow outdoors because it's supposed to be extremely resilient and low maintenance - perfect for my first outdoor grow. Hope she starts flowering soon, and is as mold resistant as advertised.
I'm actually surprised at how few diaries there are for durban
Very on the edge with the outdoor grows this year , I have a plant going through similar issue now - no pistil change and still 3 weeks left , hope it gives you the sun she requires!
@musashi_miyamoto, it is hard !! I never check the crystal I just go by smell and taste . I like to pick small bud earlie to see what it’s like then repeat until desired trait is found . Good luck with the amber
@CroNicGman, yeah at this point I’m checking trichomes. Definitely learned a lot for my next grow season - no more open soil for photos, too hard to manage, especial with a 2m plant
