I used an aeroponic cloner bucket. These arrived in bad shape from 2 days ship on the hottest days of the year. I didn't think there was much of a chance but 1 rooted! It's now in coco perlite and vermiculite.
Praying for this girl she is the only miracle that made it!
This is at the top of the list of strains I personally wanted. I didn't want just someone's Mac1 anymore. I wanted THE MAC1! THE Caps cut! Sourced led me to a cut and I am off to the races even though I heard she might be slow and steady. I'll do my best.
I will be taking clones in the future to run in DWC this fall!!!! Hopefully that helps. Any tips please share and I'll do my best to make this cut what it's supposed to be!
Stay tuned this should be exciting!
It has been a miracle. This girl has settled into the coco/perlite/vermiculite mix and is officially growing up!!! Looking green and happy. She is going to be the queen of the garden. I will be keeping the Capulators cut available as long as I possibly can!
Stay tuned
I am pretty happy with this past week. Not exceptional growth but it's starting to kick in and roll. It's supposed to be very slow in veg but I expected worse. It's not to bad. Learning more about coco growing. I'll be watering more often until I transplant and add the drip irrigation.
Stay tuned, she is a miracle!
Very good week. This Mac1 is starting to do her thing. It's been topped then transplanted to a 3 gal of Coco, perlite and vermiculite. Very aerated. I'm pleased with her growth and health to this point. I may get to take some cuts soon before flip!
Stay tuned!
I am more than blessed with this one. Absolutely fantastic plant. She is doing very well considering MAC1 Caps cut is known to veg slow. I think it makes training easier. She has been an absolute piece of cake to work with! Took 4 cuts from her and I'm letting it veg another week maybe. Stay tuned!
I am so happy. This plant is very impressive. She is so happy and healthy. Short update but she has been flipped to flower just a few days ago on 8/24. She has spread out so nicely and I'm ready for her stretch. Cuttings have rooted and I'm confident they will make it however I'm about to transplant them and may take new cuts to be safe.
Stay tuned
What a great last 1-2 weeks. Wow! Amazing plant that took off like a rocket once in late veg. Slow start but takes off and man does she stretch!!! Be careful for that! She needs to be flipped at 1 foot tall for sure no further. Haha
Looks great. Nice stacking to make all tops.
It really does not have much light under the canopy with the large leaves so I will def be removing the majority beneath the tops. Looking for 10ish inches worth of fire branches. Removing what's below most likely. I want premium tops only !
What a delight it's been. I love Mac 1 and I cannot wait to try my own!
Stay tuned
Holly miracle alien cookie! I am so excited. I'm so thankful to have Mac 1 caps cut in my possession. I truly am more excited than ever for this one. She is doing amazing. Time to stack on those dank buds!
Clone update: doing amazing! Even took a few flowering clones and they took too just the other day!
Stay tuned
She is moving right along and doing fantastic absolutely love this plant. She is flying through flower. I counted day one as 9/1 I flipped on 8/24 so I'm 21 days in as of now. I can see the mac1 in her already!
Better pics next week.
I also cut 2 more clones today 9/21 the other clones that were taken were flipped just 2 days ago. 9/19
Stay tuned
I am so thrilled with this I can't put it into words. This plant makes me so happy. It's absolutely a wonder to grow. Beautiful, healthy and just picture perfect. I so happy with Capulators Mac1 and I'm really getting anxious for some of this product on hand. It heals me. My go to medicine that should be available all the time. Now it will be. It smells so original already to that Mac 1 smell that we have learned from good batches of this. Very excited. Leaves are turning black now and bud is so white!
Stay tuned
Catching up. We are now up to date. Leaving for 9 days. Blumat tropf is running and I have a helper stopping twice. This momma is doing so amazing and the new clones are too! I can't believe how perfectly it smells like the real deal caps cut Mac 1. Because I still can't believe I got my hands on the cut!!! Doing so good! Stay tuned
Alil behind but catching up. Getting very close. I will be flushing starting this weekend. She is so dank. I am thrilled about this plant. What a great gal. Fantastic bud. Didn't get the uV light on this one but I will be adding it to the clones so I'll have something to compare too. Drying now will go better than the clones though due to outside weather change but I'll do my best to keep it as close as I can.
Stay tuned
I have reached the final week. 1 more week to go before I cut this down and call my first ever Capulators cut of mac1 complete. It's been a pleasure. Looking forward to the finish!
The clones in flower are also doing wonderful!
Stay tuned for chop time!
Officially chopped on day 67 of flower!
Amazing weight on this plant. I bud washed everything really good and hung it to dry. Cannot wait to dig into this. She smells amazing!
Stay tuned for some weight and smoke report in the next few weeks or so
All photos are 100% my photos! Absolutely amazing as expected. The buds are so frosty, so rock hard dense. An oz looks like a half oz because of it's weight. The flavor is unbelievable. Magical fruity flavors that are rich and deep yet soft and soothing. It has a slightly earthly, slightly diesel touch on the end but the majority of the diesel is in your fingers from pushing down a packed bowl. The smell in the air does have some diesel lingering now. It just took a long while to cure it to that point. At minimum I think Mac 1 needs 2 months of curing to smell and taste at its peak or more. Iv done 2 rounds and flowering my 3rd round now. I love it. Only downfall is very early stages of growth are just a hair slower until she is more mature. Also l, the cuts root slowly so they have to be in good condition. A few or more days than most other cuts I have run before. Also, beware!!!! The bud is so frickin dense at the tips that bud rot is easily something that can happen. Def use fans for a few days before slowly your airflow during drying. It's a risk every harvest IMO when u try optimize your drying conditions. Lower humidity may be ok. Takes a while to dry even when conditions aren't perfect.
1 plant in 3 gallon pot got me over 4 oz of perfect smoke. Had plenty more I stashed
Roots alil slow, grows alil slow at first then grows at a really good pace once it's up and running. 3-4 weeks into it and she will start to speed up. Top and spread her so she widens up. Flower time is in the 70 day range and both harvests I had of this cut we're starting day 1 about 8 days after flip. So 78-80 days after flip is a good spot. I have two running now to take further into flower to see if anything changes.
They don't like higher than 900-950 ppfd without CO2, u will bleach the very tips.
She prefers higher temps and humidity. She will handle cooler but is happier and faster in the heat and humidity. Hih 70s low 80s with 55-65% humidity she loves.
She does not drink insane amounts. Her root zone can be smaller than others. Really needs good drainage to keep her happy!!!
Coco perlite and vermiculite works so well.
Super dense frosty buds with magical fruity deep flavors and ab earthly diesel touch. Very good day time smoke to zone in with. Not as good for sleeping but u can just prefer other smoke for night.
Caps Cut rocks!
Amazing top shelf bud for sure. No imitation is suffice. Get the real caps cut!!!
Thank you Capulator and grow diaries. Sorry I was behind at the end, life gets busy but I wanted to close out this diary. Thank you all who followed.
Ps photos may Include some of the bud from the 2nd run if clones. Having trouble finding photos from the first run and didn't feel like taking anything new but honestly very little different. Maybe a hair better on 2nd Rd due to UV light addition? But no testing to prove.
Thanks
(All photos are taken from me!)
@exclusiveX420, to true bro, I think that’s what makes it a special one, when you look at the first picture you put on when they looked dead then look what you ended up producing. Absolutely insane piece of work. 💚💚
@HydroHerb420, appreciate it dude! It was an amazing journey from practically dead cuttings to one survivor and now a couple rounds deep on one fantastic strain that produces some ridiculous, new school bud. 👊👊
@PersonalSmok3s,than you. Ugh that stinks it was hard for me to find this cut in the states even. I am very impressed with how this has gone. I have another round right behind it in flower already. Hopefully a cut makes it your way some day!
@PapaNugs, thank you I appreciate it. It really is crazy and really did seem like a miracle just like the name! I never thought there would be a single chance but I had to try. Fabulous plant that deserves a lot of credit. She was a really strong girl in flower. She even surprised me a few weeks into the vegging cycle. It's known that this cut moves slow in veg but honestly it's short-lived once you get a few weeks under her belt if she is happy and healthy she can grow at a fairly average pace. Really really happy though. I'm flowering a third round of it now from the original cut. Everything has gone very well. Final note, unless I'm missing something these are tough to root even a healthy cut. It takes some time and it really sucks a lot of the leaves to start rooting. Each round my clones have been pretty hurt looking by the time I transplant. Somehow someway they end up growing some fresh green foliage. I have round four transplanted now looks just as ugly as each of my other Mac 1s. But if history repeats itself she will be just fine! 🙏 Thanks again
I just got a clone myself. How often are you watering? I just moved my clone to a 3 gal pot. I’m about 3 weeks veg and it looks bad 😫 I haven’t given it any nutrients yet, just it’s first watering yesterday when I transferred it into the cocoa perlite soil
I should add, this is literally my first grow
@BONGAPPETREATS, sorry I have been off a long time. I plan to be back on more often now with exciting new things eventually to share.
As for Mac 1 clones. They really like a lot of oxygen to the root zone to survive. They do get aggravated if not but can make it.
Suggestion would be to just use 70/30 coco + add vermiculite chunks or dust I prefer chunky so aerate the media more. It's so important and creates watering issues you hear about.
As for nutrients, I run general hydroponics base trio FLORA SERIES. It's very popular, been around and has amazing success. I feed EVERY watering although not totally necessary but to meet every need of the plant and roots I do so. Supplements vary but at least start there with a light drain to waste feed you can google. But they do need fed. If it's soil it has to be on the low nutrients side and u shouldn't need to add anything except aerate it the same, add perlite AND vermiculite. Get it draining better and you will have great success with Caps Mac 1. I'll post a short diary with a few photos but she has been absolutely amazing for a few years now.
Thanks and good luck !
