Prepared soil as instructed on grow caps packaging. Used 2 sachets as I’m growing in double the size pot. Therefore doubled watering measurements on packaging too. Looking forward to seeing the outcome of using only Grow Caps
Update: Seedling popped up day 4 after planting in soil.
Week 2 begins, nothing special to report but seedling looking nice and healthy. On the packaging it says use 30% less water. All the while without letting the soil dry out. Trying to stay as strict to the instructions as possible. Have watered once since planting, on day 6.
Still looking good. No major differences yet compared to growing with other nutrients. Just received my 1000w Dual Spectrum LED. Man it’s bright! Switched over to this on Day 11.
Impressed so far with the grow caps. A lot of growth this past week. Definitely true to its word, I’m only feeding plain ph’d water maximum twice a week!
Flowering is definitely on its way. Still only feeding every 4-5 days with plain ph’d tap water. Had some lower temps going on 22 c in daytime so I’ve but added a HID to the mix. I’ve removed the shield from my lumii black dual spectrum dimmable. I’ve then attached it to the side of my LED light. I’m running it on 250w to be safe. Temps are now a respectable 27 and the plant seem so to be loving it. I also defoliated the bigger fan leaves and tied the lower branches to the main stem, giving them support and raising them upwards.
@ashcuk101, it’s doing the business so far. Looking forward to seeing what yield it pulls. Not one problem so far though. Good luck with yours too mate
