Chronicle of the week The week started with lowering the lamp distance: after 7 days of monitoring no signs of over illumination. I increased the amount of nutrients: - previous week was around 900PPM - increased twice by around 50PPM - first increase didn't show issues, but the second one (around 1000PPM) depicted some slightly over-fertilization on some leaves of the Hulkberries. A second round with 1000PPM showed that also most of the other plants started to suffer a bit. - I will go back to around 920PPM during the next week, depending of the results the optimum amount could be around 950PPM I think that one of the challenges, with respect to nutrients, is to find a balance in multi-strain cultivation. There is different resistance from different strains, different heights and dimensions, and different flowering periods: all of this contributes to have different needs (same could be applied to the light). Checks to find hermies continues, unfortunately I found GK1 to be hermaphrodite, somehow advanced. - taken out of the tent - tried to remove the male parts and evaluate what to do - day after I found new stuffs, too many, and decided to cut it - the hope is that the pollen did not spread, especially while taking it out - deep checks on TD2 as well, found something but manageable for now. It seems some pre-flowering behavior that might stop Overall, the plants are flowering very well, the smell increased, the buds are growing. There are differences though, in the development: - both Hulkberries are a bit behind in buds dimensions, which is normal because of the longer flowering period - Royal Gorilla and Jack Herer are also slightly behind (with respect to DOD SI DOS 33 and Glookies for instance), more on the pistils (still all white) than in the buds dimension

I have the following lamp: LED Alien strippanel 630W, full spectrum, PPF 1700 umol /s, efficacy 2.7 umol/J Does anyone have the same? I have some issues on understanding the distance from canopy, the specifications say 15.2cm above it, but honestly it seems too close.

Thanks you all for your answers, I could find useful input in all of them. I bought a lux meter and did some measurement, and after some tests I decreased the distance of the lamp. I searched a bit the lux values and found some ranges: - clones and seedling --> 5000-7000 lumen - veg --> 15000-50000 lumen - bloom --> 45000-65000 lumen Now the distance is 27 cm for HB and 35 for DSD1, with around 57k lumen I think I can decrease further, heat does not seem an issue even closer (now the 15.2cm in the specification seems a bit less science fiction). But anyway, will do some more tests and try to listen to the plant.

Hi everyone, I think the brown leaves just reflect the end of cycle (WG started flushing 4 days ago, DSD33 today). I don't see signs of mold or something rotting, brown leaves do not detach, both plants show already some amber trichomes. What do you think?

It doesn't look like botrytis because the leaves are burnt and not just dying and gone floppy. Is it possible that when you were feeding a drop landed on those leaves? Nutrient rich water becomes more and more concentrated as the water evaporates and can easily burn your leaves and seeing that it's in isolated spots, that would be my best guess.
