Chronicle of the Week: The week has been dedicated mostly to end of cycle management, which is not that simple for multi-strain cultivation. In particular, it seems that the decrease of the temperature affected sensibly the end of cycle. I already started flushing the plants closer to harvest (day 45): - Wedding Gelato - Dos Si Dos 33 #1 - 11Roses/Golosa "Orangy" Today (day 49) started flushing of: - Tangerine Dream #2 - Dos Si Dos 33 #2 Some plants start flushing during next week, probable candidates: - Glookies - Jack Herer (this one needs additional checks, flushing could be delayed a bit) During the week (already started the previous one though) I have seen some brown leaves in the plants closer to harvest (check my recent question). The answers I got so far are inconclusive (some say start of botrytis/but rot possible, some natural end of cycle fading). I tried to check closer the bud (they are very dense and rocky, not easy), I did not see anything worrying, although I'm not an expert on that. It seems that the brown part stops at the visible part of the leaves, the connection of the leaves are green). I added some picture of the brown leaves, taken with the microscope (not sure if it is possible to derive something, the quality is what it is). I decreased a bit the PPM by decreasing Calcium (since it takes some time to be effective, it is probably no longer needed, with the exception of the HBs) I'll probably harvest the first 3 plants this coming weekend (Wedding Gelato for sure, check again the other 2).

I have the following lamp: LED Alien strippanel 630W, full spectrum, PPF 1700 umol /s, efficacy 2.7 umol/J Does anyone have the same? I have some issues on understanding the distance from canopy, the specifications say 15.2cm above it, but honestly it seems too close.

Thanks you all for your answers, I could find useful input in all of them. I bought a lux meter and did some measurement, and after some tests I decreased the distance of the lamp. I searched a bit the lux values and found some ranges: - clones and seedling --> 5000-7000 lumen - veg --> 15000-50000 lumen - bloom --> 45000-65000 lumen Now the distance is 27 cm for HB and 35 for DSD1, with around 57k lumen I think I can decrease further, heat does not seem an issue even closer (now the 15.2cm in the specification seems a bit less science fiction). But anyway, will do some more tests and try to listen to the plant.

Hi everyone, I think the brown leaves just reflect the end of cycle (WG started flushing 4 days ago, DSD33 today). I don't see signs of mold or something rotting, brown leaves do not detach, both plants show already some amber trichomes. What do you think?

It doesn't look like botrytis because the leaves are burnt and not just dying and gone floppy. Is it possible that when you were feeding a drop landed on those leaves? Nutrient rich water becomes more and more concentrated as the water evaporates and can easily burn your leaves and seeing that it's in isolated spots, that would be my best guess.
