Chronicle of the Week This week the H20 has been tailored to the needs of each plant (following the very good advise "listen to your plants"): the bigger Hulkberry got 1l (2 days cycle); the Wedding Gelato gelato got 0.6l; Jack Herer, Royal Gorilla and Tangeringe Dream #1 got 0.8l; all the other 0.9l. Checks for herms ok, it seems that there is no "real" herm. Only concern now is bananas, which are difficult to catch (I'll try anyway of course). The buds start to weight, I had to apply some supports, the big Hulkberry in particular has some long and thin branches that risk to break without them. In general the tent is well fit (even too much), which means that the plants support each other to some extent. This week the weather changed a lot here, with rain and decrease of temperature. Humidity increased in a very sensitive moment of the cycle, but overall air circulation is very good, also in the lower parts. Temperature decrease could play a role in the last weeks and harvest, which lead to the next topic. Some plants seem to be closer to the end of the cycle. Wedding Gelato, in particular, shows already some full amber thricomes (only few though), she is probably ready for the final flush (during next week or start of the next one). Dos Si Dos 33 #1 and 11Roses/Golosa "orangy" also show some "amber points" inside some thricome (just few). To be monitored closely.

I have the following lamp: LED Alien strippanel 630W, full spectrum, PPF 1700 umol /s, efficacy 2.7 umol/J Does anyone have the same? I have some issues on understanding the distance from canopy, the specifications say 15.2cm above it, but honestly it seems too close.

Thanks you all for your answers, I could find useful input in all of them. I bought a lux meter and did some measurement, and after some tests I decreased the distance of the lamp. I searched a bit the lux values and found some ranges: - clones and seedling --> 5000-7000 lumen - veg --> 15000-50000 lumen - bloom --> 45000-65000 lumen Now the distance is 27 cm for HB and 35 for DSD1, with around 57k lumen I think I can decrease further, heat does not seem an issue even closer (now the 15.2cm in the specification seems a bit less science fiction). But anyway, will do some more tests and try to listen to the plant.

Hi everyone, I think the brown leaves just reflect the end of cycle (WG started flushing 4 days ago, DSD33 today). I don't see signs of mold or something rotting, brown leaves do not detach, both plants show already some amber trichomes. What do you think?

It doesn't look like botrytis because the leaves are burnt and not just dying and gone floppy. Is it possible that when you were feeding a drop landed on those leaves? Nutrient rich water becomes more and more concentrated as the water evaporates and can easily burn your leaves and seeing that it's in isolated spots, that would be my best guess.
