I used 1 gallon planter in a greenhouse to start. Using advanced nutrients' PH perfect 3 part solution to flush my promix HP substrate. No pics taken this week.
June 16 I transplanted the seedling into an horse corral. Warm mix of Advanced nutrients PH perfect 3 part helped with the transplant process by ensuring there is minimal root shock. You will notice I didn't just throw the plants in the ground or do LST, topping or stress. Previous experience with auto flowers outdoor in my area made me start in June using a grow tent for my seedlings. Any type of high stress just throws the plants into flower reducing yield. I wish I could be like YouTubers but environment says no. Tying down is suffice. Year before I tested the soil for NPK and PH. From there I prepared the ground by adding elemental sulfur to lower PH and added as much composted horse manure as I could gather.
The later parts of July was a scorcher and I had to cover the plants with tarp for shade during the hottest days to preserve the terps. I put up my greenhouse now as it's getting cold quick from daytime highs of 30+ and now 13 expected to drop below 10 tonight.
It was hot for the last week with temps over 30 degrees Celsius. I put up a clear mesh greenhouse courtesy of Walmart. During peak heat I'd pull up the skirts of the greenhouse so that wind goes right through and provides shelter from sun without impeding air flow. It worked fine til nature intervened. Heavy wind blew over the greenhouse frame and sat on a lot of the plants causing the impacted area to swell more. No breaking occured just heavy bending. From there I continued to carefully snap all the branches some of which are still hanging. Since then it's gotten a few days of growth. The aroma went from sweet to sour as it develops in flower. Weather is now a bit calmer but I will continue to keep it under a greenhouse at night. August frost and hail storms can hit anytime.
I left her alone for the last month. It was waterer a week ago. Just left under the shelter rain sun or shine. They grew beautifully but need to be chopped tonight. Smells nice.
Buds are as big as advertised or my skill is showing.
It's very sticky and has a great terp profile. It smells good and has the Kush smell. A little bit on the fruity side than sour. There is lots of variations in the strain but I only showcased this plant throughout the grow.
I hang dried them in a cool dark room for the last week. it was drier than I thought as I woulda liked a few more days hang time. The leaves were crisp and easy to remove during trim. I did what I could a bit was left.
The weight is questionable yet as it's not fully dried and cured.
