Vatba Beginning of the second week. 04/16/2017. 04/16/2017 #1 measures 1.5cm, the next pair of leaves is starting to sprout. #2 measures 0.9cm and seems to be struggling a bit more. 04/19/2017 #1 measures 2cm, the leaves are getting big. #2 measures 1.1cm, it's slowly widening and not stretching too much, the next pair of leaves is also starting to sprout. Watering with about 200ml and 2ml/l of Bac Fast Food. 04/21/2017 #1 measures 3cm, you can see the internode of the first leaves and these last ones, it already smells. #2 measures 1.5cm. 04/21/2017 Update: I left the window open and my cat has nibbled on the leaves.

Vatba We started the third week 04/23/2017. #1 Transplanted to an 11-liter pot and watered with 250ml of water with 1ml/l of Acti Vera from BioBizz. #2 Still small, we'll see how the grow goes. 04/25/2017 #1 Watered with 250ml with 2ml/l of B.A.C. FastFood. #2 Watered with 200ml with 2ml/l of B.A.C. FastFood. 04/27/2017 #1 It needed more soil when I transplanted it, I've taken it out and added more substrate, I've only moistened the soil since it's been raining for two days. #2 Transplanted, let's see if it starts to stretch soon.

Vatba 30/04/2017 Start of week number 4. #1 Measures 6.3cm, already has small 5-finger leaves. #2 Measures 4cm and I think it's going to stretch more than #1. 03/05/2017 #1 had to be staked yesterday because it was leaning, it seems to be starting to stretch, and it smells pretty strong. #2 is also starting to grow at a good pace, considering it hasn't seen the sun for several days. 04/05/2017 #1 has already removed the stake, it's picking up a good growth pace. Both #1 and #2 received a watering of 400ml with 4ml/l of B.A.C. Fast Food.

Vatba 07/05/2017 We start week 5. #1 measures 10.5cm, right now it's growing at a VERY good pace, although it's still small for its age. #2 seems to be lagging behind #1, currently measuring 6.2cm and just one node below. 08/05/2017 Watering 500ml of water for each. I noticed this afternoon that #1 already has some pre-flowers. I hope it has time to stretch a bit or I'm going to get very little. 10/05/2017 #1 measures 15.5cm and #2 measures 9cm. 11/05/2017 Watering 500ml for each with 2ml/l of Top Crop Big One (flowering stimulator) and 4ml/l of B.A.C. Fast Food. 12/05/2017 Day 33. #1 is growing super fast, in 2 days it has gone from 15.5cm to 21cm, #2 isn't lagging either, in 2 days it has gone from 9cm to 13cm.

Vatba 14/05/2017 Start of week 6. Already in flowering, the calyxes of both plants are starting to take on a dark purple hue. Watering with 750ml of water and 600ml in #1 and #2 respectively. 16/05/2017 Day 37. #1 measures 30cm and #2 21cm. 17/05/2017 Watering 2 liters of water and 1.5 liters of water with 4ml/l of B.A.C Fast Food to #1 and #2 respectively. The leaves near the flowers are turning purple. 19/05/2017 Day 40. #1 measures 37.5cm and #2 31cm. The first calyxes of #1 have trichomes, starting to have a citrus, sweet smell. #2 has slightly smaller flowers.

Vatba 21/05/2017 Week 7. Bud fattening. #1 measures 38.5cm and #2 is already 36cm. 23/05/2017 #1 Watering with 2 liters of water, 2ml/l of B.A.C. Fast Food and 0.5ml/l of BioTKA organic-mineral supplement (fattening supplement). I'm a bit worried about #2 since it has some leaves curling inwards, it could be excess nitrogen. Watering with 2 liters of water, 1.25ml/l of B.A.C. Fast Food and 0.25ml/l of BioTKA organic-mineral supplement. 27/05/2017 The pistils of #2 are starting to take on a pinkish hue, and the calyxes are beginning to fatten, it's already taller than #1 but has fewer flowers and they are thinner. 28/05/2017 Watering with 2 liters of water, 3ml/l of B.A.C. Fast Food and 0.5ml/l of BioTKA organic-mineral supplement.

Vatba 29/05/2017 Day 50. We’re starting week 8 (I realized I’ve been eating a day from each previous week). #1 has stayed at 41cm but has good clusters of flowers, #2 is a bit taller, 46cm, but has fewer buds and they’re less developed. The smell is somewhat hard to describe; they don’t smell too strong, but when you start moving the plant, it releases a very pleasant citrus "chemical" scent that makes you want to keep smelling them. 31/05/2017 The pistils on #1 are starting to darken and curl, it has new pistils and its trichomes are about 70% transparent. I don’t know how to identify the mature trichomes that are pink/purple. #2 is a bit greener, smells more like diesel, and seems to be more "frosted." I was able to take a photo of the trichomes using a CD reader lens; it’s almost impossible for me to focus. 01/06/2017 Watering with 1 liter of water with 4ml/l of B.A.C. Fast Food and 1ml/l of Top Crop Big One.

Vatba 05/06/2017 Day 57. We start week number 9 and surely the last one. I’m watering with 2 liters of water for each one, just water. #1 seems to no longer be producing new pistils, most of the white ones are curling up and some are already ripe, taking on an orange color like that of a carrot. It has plenty of buds, a bit narrow but compact, it's covered in resin and already gives off quite a smell. #2 same as before, although these buds are less abundant, it seems that the calyxes are thicker, it has a different smell, reminds me of OG, it’s more diesel than citrus unlike the other plant and also has more resin, the trichomes look bigger. I’m not very sure when I should cut, patience. 07/06/2017 Amber trichomes are starting to appear on #1, I’ve removed the large leaves, without touching the ones with trichomes, but I’ll let it mature for one more day, 90% of the trichomes are between milky and cloudy. 08/06/2017 I harvested plant #1 at 60 days, it already had more amber trichomes and the vast majority were very white, with few cloudy ones, it had quite a bit of leaf. They look really good, the buds didn’t come out too big (except for the top one) or too dense, loaded with purple trichomes. 11/06/2018 I harvested #2 at 63 days. Much more resin than #1, also quite a bit of leaf, milky trichomes. The buds came out different, it has fewer calyxes but thicker ones. This plant yielded less, although with very good quality, we’ll have to see after drying and curing.

Vatba The buds are narrow, but very dense and hard, somewhat small. Lacking a proper scale, I've weighed the buds and there are approximately 11 grams of #1 and about 10 of #2. The smell is different in the two plants; #1 is quite similar to the smell of an air freshener, with lemony hints and something resembling ammonia, but not quite. #2 smells more like some kind of solvent, although when the weed is ground, it becomes much more aromatic. The flavor is very concentrated but smooth, it doesn't scratch the throat at all and is very pleasant, somewhat like diesel with citrus and earthy notes. The effect hits a few seconds after taking the first puffs, directly to the brain, in the front, sides, and back of the head. If smoked slowly, it gives a very manageable feeling of relaxation, but once you've finished the joint, you feel the typical "couch-lock" sensation of indicas. Under its effects, this strain makes you focus and boosts your creativity. I wouldn't recommend it to novice smokers, but I would to people suffering from pain and psychological disorders like depression or anxiety; it's a very pleasant sensation. Next year, I'm doing it again.
