Week 8!
She's growing, and she is growing fast, the Autos are awesome in that matter, but I'm mostly interested in the yield, I know that you can't compare regular with autos, but if I get lucky and get somewhere around 65-70 gram I'm satisfied - if I get more I'll be happy! :)
@CBD_Sweden, It does kind of matter a little bit. If you are growing for your own medicine you could be spending more money on growing your own than you would if you were buying it is all. The idea is to cut out the middle man and do it yourself for cheaper yes? Thats all I meant.
@DabCrab,
This is my first cultivation ever, I'm doing it because I'm sick and need medicine. I am very poor in knowledge regarding watts and so on. I can only assume what is on the lamp and enter it in GD. I do not have English as a native language, nor can I speak about technology in English. So I thank for the constructive criticism, but at the same time I want to say that for me it does not matter what it's for grams per watt and if it is something that determines how well you are growing i culdent care less. The main thing for me is that I get my medicine.
@CBD_Sweden, LED's are tricky, you can never trust the specifications. It's supposed to be a 600 watts equivalent I believe, Many people have had various readings on that specific model from 180 actual watts to up to 300 watt power consumption. 180 watts is just the diode consumption for the specifications. Theres also heat sink fans and a power converter in there. Not dogging you, just thought you'd want to know that you may want to get a wattage meeter to know your true power consumption :D
@CBD_Sweden, it's ok mate sorry for the late reply, you know how things get lost on here too. Hope you're feeling good you're grows are great always a followerππΌ
@PharmaZ, By mistake i deleted the pictures from my phone and had not done a backup on my computer like i normally do. But thats a mistake i never do again.
Well I'm interested in this water curing - @CBD_Sweden , so much so I'm doing an ounce of each plant this week, am I right you do water for 5 days , changing every day ?
@BigDaddyK, im in the process of building my new growroom in a basement.I have stript the whole room down to bare brick walls and remowed all the old eletrics. And i have plastered the brick wall with finishing mortar and fixed new concrete floor. Im wating for it to dry so i can paint the floor, wall and ceiling. After that the electrical equipment is going to get installed by my freind. All is wired to a new distribution box with residual current circuit breaker. After all that its time to install all ventilation and the grow equipment. Then its time to grow. But ill do as much as i can, its a lot of work when your sick like me and all days isent a good day.But i hope ill get started in a few weeks if my health dosent deteriorate .
@CBD_Sweden,
Really nice to know. THX a lot, buddy. My soil is very expensive and that is why I switched for the Green Angels to normal Dutch Bio Potgrond. But I reused the soil of the weaker plants that was as it seems right. I really like to use or reuse anything of the plant.
@Tistou, You can do that, you use half new and half used soil. But soil is sheep so i use new soil now.
And put the old soil in my compost.
And then i use some of that soil later.
@CBD_Sweden, i think it takes about 3 months or so before your weed is perfectly cured, about 1 month curing is sure enough for a perfect smooth taste in my opinion, this was the case for my previous harvest, royal dwarf and bubble
@Bstoner, I guess You're right, I'm quite new at this growing cannabis thing - so far I've only been smoking weed. I can only compare the watercured cannabis I've been growing to what I've bought from my local dealer, and even though he provided awesome weed, I have never tasted such smoothness from any aircured weed. But never say never, right?! ππ
@CANNASIM, Nice ! I just barely produce enough for myself, and i produce a lot π haha. Try water curing, you won't go back. The key is to change water at least twice a day to keep the concentration gradient at maximum, this way all the water soluble molecules will go from your precious buds into the water. Like @CBD_Sweden said the process will be complete when your water stays 24 hours almost clear. I use reverse osmosis water, but anything without salts should work ( otherwise you will be damaging your crop by adding salts instead of helping the curing process). Good luck bro !
@nicogm, Nice Bro! Definitely will try it, got very curious! The flowers stay at home, i don't sell anything, make some donations to help people with cancer, but for now i don't have enough to produce RSO(phoenix tears), that would help more... Anyhow, thanks for the hints!
