Week 2 - The Plants Are Loving Their Environment. I Think The Coco Soil Have The Gorilla Glu & Stardawg Thinking They’re Coconut Trees. Lol I’m Experimenting Trying To Create My Own Foliation Spray And Nutrient Additive To Go With A Base Nutrient And It Seems To Be Working. Overall The Girls Are Happy & Healthy And I’m Very Satisfied With Week 2. #OwlGang #AGrowingEmpire
Man, that must be a great tent to open in the morning! All of your plants look great! I think your yields are going to be amazing, especially for autos that seem to yield less than their photo sisters. I cant believe they grew so large! Most of the autos I read about stay pretty small. These plants are good size.
@Quexos, I've grown autos for quite a while now. Before that I 'started' with photos. Up until a couple of weeks ago I still had some Lemon Bubble left from a photo grow. I have to say, I didn't know at the time but that was good quality flower. Very dense and hard. My autos in comparison are more fluffy/airy. The Glueberry auto I harvested a couple of months ago is pretty close (95%) to the quality of the Lemon Bubble photo. I'm kinda thinking autos can kick out grows quite quick but the bud structure (for me) is better with photoperiod. In the new year I will again do some photo plants. I'm quite nervous doing it because I've forgotten how to do it it's been so long! 😂
@Dunk_Junk, I agree with you. Autos are great! I see a lot of fantastic auto buds being grown on this site. I have a lot more experience with photos, so I'm kinda partial. I am going to grow a few more auto strains before I make up my mind.
Honestly I don't have a set yield in mind when I say that autos yield less. I was just making a comparison.
There is something about your first grow that will always remain with you in your memory bank. I remember the immediate fascination with seeing the progress on a day to day basis and I was hooked. Those babies are looking good thus far. Being it is your 1st indoor grow, my only advise is to ask lots of questions to this wonderful community of growers, and don’t be affraid to try various training or yield enhancing techniques as the cannabis plant is one of the most resilient plants i have ever seen. Keep up the good work!!!
@OwlGang_Uk, yessir I tend to take too many fan leaves off. It has not ever hurt me that bad, and my yields have been consistently higher by trimming the fans to allow light deeper into the plants. The only downside is that there is a shitload more trimming of smaller buds at the end, but size makes no difference to me in the end, total weight does, and at the end of the day the more medicine I can make for myself the better...
@MagicMikesMeds,'Nice YouTube Channel Tripple M, massive harvest. I had to watch it from the start, I did however think you took off too much of the fan leaves though, it was a bad boy grow. #Respect
@OwlGang_Uk,I grow in a 5x5 tent and grew 6 plants in there only on my 1st run it my current setup. Since the. I have run 3 and 4 plants on my 2nd & 3rd respective harvests. 6 plants was too much for my liking because it was a little bit crowded in the room. With a little bit of training it is very easy to fill your tent will less plants and actually increase yield. To date my best harvest was 3 plants in a 5x5 which yielded 37.25 oz. Here is a link to my YouTube to see what that harvest looked like if you are interested...

Hey man happy first month!! Looking really nice and healthy! I’m growing 3 royal dwarf autos, I had one that was really slow starting off, now she’s my biggest girl in there!! Just goes to show, speed isn’t everything! 😂
That Purple Power may not be the king anymore, but it is the most unique! Nice videos this week. Excellent plants.
Do you have a journal on the Purple Power? That looks like a plant I'd like to grow.
