A pretty good start for this strain. She popped up after 26 hours of going into the pod and on the pad. So far she looks good enough and I've started feeding twice a day, starting at (0.40 EC, 6.2-6.4pH) and will move to a final 1.0 EC by the end of the first week.
She's up to a full 1.0 EC of nute solutions and will continue up to about 1.5 until flower. Doing pretty alright so far with no real issues showing at this time. She seems like a hardy plant so far and I hope it continues to do well. Time for here to live another week or so in this container and then into the final 5 gallon cloth pot.
The transplant went well even though it was a bit premature. I tried using two shells for germination and the seedling phase but there wasn't enough drainage and air flow to properly air prune the roots. Usually, I'll wait 24hrs after a feeding to transplant to allow for the media to firm up enough. Albeit, it went well and with minimal stress to the plant . She's up to a full 1.5 ec and enjoying it in the new home.
Another solid week of low maintenance and just feeding twice a day. She's been growing strong and enjoying the light so I decided to top her a couple days before the Shake-n-Bake! plant. I plan to hook up the reservoir and pump once I flip the lights on her, in about a week and then fun really starts to happen! I have a feeling she's going to need a lot of nutes when in flower.
Topped her and flipping the lights after a couple of days of recovery!
She's taking nutes well and I don't have a whole lot to say other than I'm looking forward to automating the rest of the grow :)
A lot of stretching has begun and almost time to put them in their own tents to finish up! No issues with the nute increase nor the topping and next week I should have them automated!.
I've moved these gals to their own tents, setup the reservoir and drain pump. All systems are working as expected and she's still enjoying the nute intake. No signs of deficiency nor excess at this time. There was a little stress from the topping. I've also setup the trellis net to pull some of the limbs out for better air flow.
Last week for this nute level. She's still stretching very nicely and getting lots bud sites popping up. I pruned up and defoliated a little bit. One thing to note, I'm not a huge fan of the vivosun cloth pots as they're a little too thick but still holding up well enough.
I started adding the Boost to the mix as the bud sites are starting to develop nicely and getting an interesting structure. Definitely looking like the sativa traits are popping out. No issues taking the 2.4 EC and pH is still holding around 5.9.
The other girl I was growing, Shake-n-Bake! went full hermi so that had to be chopped :(
She's been filling out nicely and still liking the nute balance with no issues. I decided to defoliate a bit as you can see she had some pretty big fan leaves that needed to go.
Ramping up the boos! She's filling out nicely, liking the extra nute and going strong! She's going to be a heavy gal by the looks of it :D. I'm going to look into supporting her more in the coming week. I've begun to shift the pH up a bit as well.
More of the same from last week so there isn't much to say. The colas are getting thicker and are roughly the size of man's closed fist. I expected it to fatten up more over the coming weeks. Some of the first red hairs are popping up but not easily found. I'm guessing about 4-5 more weeks-ish. Once I start seeing more, I'll tone down the EC and start prepping for the final week.
She's doing well enough. Slowly packing on more weight. I rolled of the PK 13/14 as two weeks was enough and I didn't want to burn her too much with it so it's been removed and brought the EC back down to 2.1. I figure there's about another 3-4 weeks left.
Pretty easy strain to grow. Solid form and could go well with Scrog if that's you're style. She took in the nutes well and I even pushed her farther than others.
She was an easy grow. The only take aways are that I pushed her a little too hard on the nutrients and I need more room for the light/adjust the intensity. Otherwise, I'd definitely grow this one again.
@grzegorzdelaurans,
Thanks! The other grow went full hermi so I had to scrap it before it could pollinate. I wasn't happy but sometimes, it's the way she goes.
Also probably not a good idea to go so high with the nutrients , see how dark the leaves are now . On the verge of nitrogen toxicity. Notice when u increased the calmag the growth looked healthier. I think it's a case of the extra calmag making a difference rather than the increase of a and b .
@Grower202085,
That was from the stress of the topping I believe. It'll happen on small scale but usually stops within a day after recovery. It'll also happen when I transplant sometimes.
I'm happy for you but for me MSNL It's over. Disappointed by the exorbitant shipping costs of 15 Euros for less than 20 grams of seeds. There is not even a non-tracking option. I contacted the customer service who doesn't want to know anything and who writes that these are our prices! This has put me off ordering from them and I have moved on to competitors who have more affordable shipping costs.
