Strawberry Rhubarb

Seedling is nicely above the surface, no hesitation to call this Day 1. 8/1/22: Day 2. 💧Decided to give it a bit of water, in a ring around its base. 8/2/22: Day 3. Already a noticeable change to vegetation mode with the new growth coming in. 8/4/22: Day 5. Everything is looking fantastic so far, true leaves have spread nice and wide, and are looking quite fat. I will fertilize and water tomorrow morning, that way they are nice and perky for their photo shoot on Saturday. 8/6/22: Day 7. 💧Gave it a decent amount of water, but not what I'd consider a thorough watering, just enough to keep me satisfied until tomorrow. Since the first batch of plants were not fertilized until the first day of week 2, I decided to do the same with this one, and all other plants coming into this operation. That way I can keep everything on the same type of schedule. #viparspectra #XS2000

Everything is still looking great, the watering yesterday was a good idea, as it will help with the fertilization later on today. There may be a slight possibility of me not doing it today, and doing it tomorrow instead, and that's due to me having another session right at the moment. While I'm in typing mood, I'm not in a sit down and garden mood. If I hold off, then I'll make sure I do it first thing when I get home from work in the morning, before starting my session. 8/8/22: Day 9. 💩💧After roughing up the soils surface, I added in 2 tablespoons of Gaia Green's All Purpose dry amendment. I then mixed it in well, and watered it down. Since the pots were still moist from the previous watering, I only gave them a little bit, just to get the mixture settled in for now. 8/9/22: Day 10. While I can't see a substantial change in size, the plants do look better overall. Something about the way they hold their leaves out, makes me think they are now happy. 8/11/22: Day 12. Even though the pot feels light enough to water, I'm still going to hold off on it for another day, that way I have motivation to go downstairs and garden more. 8/13/22: Day 14. While the plants are a little on the smaller size, that works well for me, as I don't have room for anything to be a monster. The pots aren't exactly what I'd call completely dry, even though the surface is very crispy. The pot itself still has some heft, so I'll continue to wait until tomorrow to water again.

Wk3 While I could easily make up some false information to add into the diary, that's not my style, so I'll admit I slacked off this entire week. Both in pictures, and in notation. While I did keep up with watering, I didn't take as many photos as I should have.

I will be watering tomorrow, even though it's off schedule. 8/24/22: Day 25.💧Wasted more time, and didn't get around to watering until today. Large dosage, the next one might not be very soon, unless it's needed. 8/27/22: Day 28. Plant is still doing excellent, no signs of malnutrition or other stresses. Soil is still moist, most likely due to the cramming of plants into a small space, minimizing the air flow between the pots. Next run will definitely be scaled down.
